Patagonia's stunning landscape-thanks, Tom for this retrospective! I don't believe I'll ever make it there, but it's wonderful to visit it through your lens. I hope all is well with you and yours!
Wow wow wow...that opening of the silhouette and mountain followed by the narative with background music was National Geographic quality. I may watch this a few more times tonight!!!
Fantastic photos, great video, beautiful drone shot. Amazing how you manage to do photography, video, B-roll, drone shot, telling story, conduct class, all at the same time.
Patagonia is an amazing place, I moved to Argentina 4 years ago and I've only been there twice, El Calafate and El Chalten are breathtaking places. I recently, before the pandemic, went to Bariloche for a week, it wasn't enough time to see everything but it was simply amazing and peaceful, I'm going back for sure!!
I applaud the return of the Master of Fine Art, Nature and Landscape Photography at the end of this vid :-D It's funny that I was hoping that you would dig into your archive to make new videos with a common theme. This one was on Patagonia as a location.
Nice to see the Master making an appearance. The episode was a tonic Thomas and a reminder of the beauty that awaits when restrictions are eased and we are free to move about once again
Great content...Torres del Paine and los Glaciares probably some of the best spots on earth! There is so much to look there...When I visited the region as a student (1969) from Santiago, we didn’t have cameras...but the memories are always fresh! What a place...that’s a future trip to include Antártica after this nightmare is over...really looking forward to take a GFX 50R and a 503CW... Cheers man 🥂 Be safe...
Damn Thomas, those 2 seconds in your opening clip when your little hop is exactly in sync with the cameras panning movement. That was such a mesmerising little detail.
I love the image at 6:40. Such a perfect use of leading lines from the pier to the boat. I also suspect the image would lose balance without the second boat on the right hand side. Great use of long exposure.
Yooo!!! Ah nostalgia. Thanks for the fond memories & the tag T-Fuego 🙏 Patagonian montañas ⛰️🇦🇷🇨🇱⛰️ for the win!! The ending is gold. Francis & Harry killed in that skit 👏👏👏👏
Ive just shared this with my landscape photographer friends who are yet to get on UA-cam and check out your stuff. Brilliant little summary of your channel!
Had the privilege of hiking the entire 133km or so 'O' circuit of Torres del Paine in Feb/March of this year. Absolutely incredible. Although I am a bit gutted that we didn't go south of the lakes to the location in the video, the views would have been amazing. Would have loved to get a shot like yours with the trees.
I've reported you to the Police Tom. Looks f all like your back garden to me. And also for that hat. They said meh about breaking the lock down but after I sent a picture of that hat they lost their sh$& ... really atmospheric and just a joy to watch. Thanks for sharing.
A fitting tribute to your past Patagonia trip, Beautifully edited Tom, looking back on your Patagonia images and the thought and detail you put into your images is outstanding this is why you are the master photographer Tom👍
What an absolutely fabulous place. I've thoroughly enjoyed your videos from here. The only problem with this one for me is that I wanted it to go on much longer. I had a very brief visit there for 2 days back in 2014, whist travelling back from Antarctica, but sadly was ill for one of those days so didn't get to to explore or photography anywhere near enough. Compiling this must make your realise how lucky you've been to visit all these wonderful places, especially in times like we are now. Thanks for the entertainment Tom. Great stuff.
Loved every bit of this video, Thomas! So many beautiful sceneries, so wonderfully captured! Hope to see more of this edit / narrative format in future uploads as well 😍
I'm quickly catching up on your back catalogue of videos Tom, since finding your channel during the early days of lockdown. Great work, really inspirational and now restoring my photography mojo! Keep up the great work.
Damn Thomas! I have been watching videos of you for quiet some time now... The channel is turning to become a unique experience every time. First it was all about the photography! Now you have super nice video! Voice overs, music! Keep it up mate
