- A quick tutorial on how to turn an AI image from Stable Diffusion or Midjourney to a simple 3D model.
Tool used;
3d.csm.ai/
And Unreal Engine 5
For the anime effect I use Kaiber
kaiber.ai/?via=sir-unreal
#tutorial #unrealengine #ai #midjourney #stablediffusion
Also recommending "GENIE" lumalabs.ai/genie for text-to-3d models.
@pierpier217 via a prompt (like midjourney) and via Discord
So i wanted to make a playable 3d character, can i use this source for that as well?
Amazing results!!! Great content as always man, keep it up!
Cheers Zen1thar!
super fast and straight to the point. love it
jeepers thats quick and beautiful! that post processing stack? Kuwahara? Stunning
Great stuff. We need more videos!
Wow. Had no idea this technology existed. This is very helpful, thank you!
I love this simple one.
Thank you!
Thank you so much bro . One best channel I seen resently. Bro video about midjourney prompts and 3d convert videos .
Amazing😊
yeah I love something like this
Been testing it and it's insane that technology can even do this, now imagine once it gets more refined. AAA quality assets in a fraction of the time.
I completely agree Travis, it's an exciting time ahead!
@@retrolightgames how long does it take to make a model?
@@aegisgfx AAA models can take 2 to 4 weeks per model, full time.
Thanks mate!
Cheers!
Thank you very much for sharing your guides. The effects are very cool! Please tell me which UnrealEngine guide would you recommend?
It would be best if it was your style! :))
It`s all good and useful, but it would be cool if you continued that water game with more small tutorials. Like introducing NPC, shooting, using transport, something to develop the idea, so that eventually it would be possible to create something cool
Omg wow 😮
My friend you are the most incredible person on UA-cam!
Thank you mate!
Nice one sir ❤😌🔥
Thank you John!
I have been waiting for this for so long. I can set up environments for painting without using anyone elses assest. All I need is "close enough" lighting reference.
This is amazing! But is it possible to correct the textures after such a transfer of the 3D model in UE5?
thnx
Amazing video! Which shaders are you using on the 2nd version? It looks really good! It almost looks hand drawn!
This changes everything.
Quite so! As soon these tools become more powerful it's going to affect the entire industry.
changes nothing....
@@egretfx well I wouldnt say it changes nothing, a single artist can now get from prototype drawing to crude 3D model in hours instead of a team getting there in weeks. There is still a lot of work to make the model production ready but for story boarding and low res background models, this is a huge time saver
The website generates random stuff I can't even come close to using. Also, there are way more steps to this than you are showing us.
this video is a lie
How?
I tried the site. Video lied. I couldn't even upload any pics. Stop the lies 😭
I have to wait hours for it to load!
How did you do the landscape?
holy ....... this really changes everything , it shorten the time by hundreds of hours of work wow
Yes! For now it's quite low-poly and simple models but in the very near future this will change to high quality models.
@@retrolightgameshow long does it take please? I have been waiting for 2 hours so I am just wondering if Its stuck or if its normal
Please tell me which software you worked with in 2nd step...
Which software you are using
Curious your thoughts on something. You take environment images from Midjourney, pop them into Blender and create a depth map. Extend it outwards and then fill the image with stuff in the front and film that way. The only problem I'm having is dealing with the stretching at certain points, which I thought I'd see if you might have a solution for or any ideas how to make it more practical. Because if done well, I reckon this could solve the issue of needing to build full scale environments when filming in Unreal.
Hi Yearight, apologies for a delayed reply. My mind goes to the "Generative fill" option in Photoshop's beta. Perhaps it is possible to expand an image large enough so that it does not stretch. This is something I'll experiment more with soon as well =) let me know if you find any solutions!
@@retrolightgames I have the answer, but it's not fun on any level and is going to eat up a LOT of time, and you might not even like the results. Make sure whatever you create isn't large, and build it piece by piece in Blender. Only sure fire way I've come to find to get lots of depth and keep items in tact.
I dislike this method, since there's no guarantee that colors will match and look correct together, so color correcting becomes important (which isn't that big of a deal after bringing it into Unreal).
@@retrolightgames ADDITIONALLY: So in Unreal Engine 5.3 there is something called Color Correction Region, if you put that into an area and set the color to a specific color, that would basically address the issue with my problem to a degree. It's not perfect, but it's worth looking into.
the 2nd stylized version which is the most interesting, is unfortunately missing.
Why yes I do like creating statue models extremely fast
Quick question, is there way to not bake in the texture and instead have it adjust to the lighting of the scene it’s imported in sans manual intervention?
can you 3d print it?
Animation Software name
What program you using?
Why is my "generate 3d mesh" greyed out? Even when I click it doesn't produce a model. - *EDIT* (For anyone who is facing a similar problem to me.) I got the solution from discord. When you hit generate it will grey out, and then it will say "training." The training process can take 3 or more hours, so it will be slow.
how long i need to wait?
the link shows a differnet page for me it doesnt work
I told the program to generate a 3D model for me based on the illustration generated by the program - look at me, I'm an artist!
Creamy!
Can you be offline while it's working some websites like this you can leave and come back is this one because it a long time also how different is the final verses preview quality because preview does not look good
what about multiple images
hello can I ask for your pc specs bro?
Nice like and nice subscribe
my mesh does not turn out nearly has good on csm
is it printable?
Is there a tool that does something like CSM but has non-toxic terms of service? Theirs don't look actually suitable for for-profit video game development.
So how does it know what the back of the picture looks like if it only has the front?
AI
CSM seems to require an acct to login.
oh my god this is reall help me
How long does it take to make a model?
Ive been waiting about an hour already for one I uploaded, thats all I can tell you
Can I use the model in blender
Yes you can :)
I can't open CSM - it's just blinking...
damn, this is great, im a concept artist and I dont really think most ai is ethical but this one about 2D to 3D has some future, as long as this shit does not get fed by human's art to make the base meshes, it will be a great tool for concepts
ethical? lol i will never pay 1 dollar for artist, now
Does the image have to come from MidJourney? Can someone use original art?
u can use original
not seconds, but a few hours, but cool
why you don't care about poly count?
This is worrying for me, i'm intending on going ito this line of work and i really don't want a fraking machine to do my job.
Bull-ean bull
Training
Yes it will take a while:)
@@retrolightgames i waited an hour still has generated loll
you didnt teach anything lol so its not a tutorial lol
