"That's a Stretch" level, I was staring at the balloon node for 5 minutes before you succeeded without it, then realized it was there. You, sir, are indeed an architect.
Can we get a video of the editor vs RCE? The whole time Matt is talking to the editor as if they are together in real-time and the editor is making it happen.
Matt: Put my name in there. Editor: SMALLBALLSACK Matt, have you been letting the editors hang out with Ms.RCE again? She's giving away all your little secrets.
RCE, that thing you didn't recognize on yastark's bridge about 4:50 was supposed to be a mock flaming ring, like you'd see at a circus or a motocross exhibition.
At 9:00 did you forget how to make a bridge move like that? If you have a straight bridge and want it to move down and dip, then the resulting bridge is going to be longer than the straight bridge. Road is what determines the length of the bridge, and it's rigid, so you were literally stretching the road until it broke, you were supposed to make it not connected to the side so it can dip lower and move away from the wall.
7:30 No amount of springs will solve the basic problem that the roads are connected and thus can't go down without increasing in length, and in this game roads don't do that.
Seeing my name at 2:52 brought me a lot of joy. Me and my 10 year old son spent a whole day competing with each other to get that score. He was 11th at the time of this video.
'There are no obstacles in my way,' sings Matt. But alas he did not realize his own blunder in removing all of the Architects. It ruined him. It took a man of power, prestige, and strong shaped donginess, and reduced him to naught but a peasant-chaser. For what is an Engineer without a problem to solve? What is an Engineer without the challenge of the unexpected? What is an Engineer without an obstacle? What is an Engineer without an Architect? Nothing but a fool with a tool and wasted aspirations. Now he must design something for someone else to build. For he himself cannot build without an Architect to challenge him. And so he designs. And what is a man who designs a building he himself never builds? An Architect. For that is the eternal fate of the Engineer who casts aside his obstacles and does away with his Architect.
editor has really gone off with the outta pocket jokes today. i think editor is starting to go insane watching 30 different levels of people making "knob" jokes like seriously, "the filthy things id do on a rce mattress" is such a crazy thing to say
All during the Stretch one I kept thinking, "What about just making a simple bridge for the ambulance, but put a single chunk of road on a spring as a ramp for the bike but the ambulance will flatten?" Instead of letting the ambulance DOWN to the green star, ramp the bike UP to the pink star? 🤔
I love that the cars can complete the level fine after free falling 30 metres but if you reach the flag after touching a fingernail-high pool of water too bad, start again.
Reminder that it's only "Cheese" If Matt's not clever enough to use the intended mechanics after all it's a chapter entirely about using SPRINGS. I suspect he's an architect more and more as if a bridge isn't properly ascetically pleasing to him he'll reject it. Very much Architect behavior!
Can we have a compilation video in honor of the true strongest shape master engineer, Alan? I think that guy really deserves it and to be honest I bet many of us including myself enjoy Alans solutions the most in these videos! 😁
15:25
matt: what isnt better in slow motion to be fair?
editor: waterboarding
me: *spits out coffee*
That was top shelf.
How dare you drink Coffee 🌋!!!😤
Drink Niff tea.... 🤓
I bet coffee boarding is even worse!
But I mean…
Are they wrong?
Searched "slow motion waterboarding" on youtube thinking it's some goofy surfing sport when slowed..

Alan! Great joke

i think we need a death match between matt's editors and tyler's editors
It reminds me of Lixian and Markiplier
this whole time I've been assuming Matt does his own editing.
Soooo... This thumbnail appeared on my page shortly after the Baltimore Bridge crash caused by a container ship...
:skull:
YT knew what they were doing 💀💀💀
Yo that happend where I live
bro predicted it
“Dude, Benson is sooo gonna fire us” 💀💀💀

Lucky for us, our modern bridges are too sophisticated to be destroyed by a large ship hitting them.

Seriously. How does an engineer not understand how length works? He must actually be an architect.
Yeah, this blew my mind. Proper brainfart that.
no need to be rude. people make mistakes 🤷♀️
Alans solution of the "Backflip" level killed me xD
Still having hiccups from the laugh. He even perfectly traced the flight path of the bike.
He’s truly the one to beat in these challenges. He doesn’t focus on budget, rarely uses cheese, and creates true pieces of art.
7:30 No amount of springs will solve the basic problem that the roads are connected and thus can't go down without increasing in length, and in this game roads don't do that.
He forgot to copy that info on expansion joints before exporting it from his memory to us in a previous video :)
4:29 "Lot's of spring underneath. It's like a memory foam mattress." I don't think Matt knows what memory foam is...
Memory in memory foam is in memory of its sprung predecessors right? Just like his memory of expansion joints for several minutes :)
21:25 these editors have no filter and I'm here for it

You're definitely an architect on that second one, you forgot tension and compression
It actually greatly annoyed me to the point where it affected my enjoyment of the video. Just hand the middle section from the balloon.
I love that you didn’t see that the moped and ambulance level was designed as a dangling bridge.
Matt forgetting rigid materials need an expation joint to stretch is such an archetect move on his part. Still great vid
15:26 great waterboarding bit
13:37 when i get my driver's license i know what car i'm getting 💀
This episode is suddenly very topical
That Alan must be an engineer given his grasp of strong engineering principles.
11:41 the entire time I was watching this segment I am going "stop be such an architect ya knob! You gotta let the road stretch!"
15:24 The editor has a point 😆
Idk who’s editing these videos, but I absolutely LOVE the small edits when Matt asks something
I'm surprised that RCE didn't fill the gap on either end of the bridge with a spring to keep the anchor but allow flex
9:03 "You absolute architect!" had me ROLLING 🤣🤣🤣
Jumpscared by Alan every time
4:50 Looks like a Hoop of FIRE!!! Jumping through hoops!

Matt, you have some click bait videos, this is one, it made me click and I still enjoyed watching architects cry by how good this is
