15:00 putting a spring into a truss is such an architect thing to do. You should know that this essentially prevents the truss from working as intended
Matt doesnt want to take the time to learn hydraulics, tyler uses actual math to figure thr hydraulics out, matt seems to be more of an architect then an engineer to me right now 😜

Having watched Aliensrock do actual maths and proper calculations when making good designs, and then watching RCE wing it and failing to even make even curves for arches to share the stress properly, makes me wonder if RCE really is a civil engineer.

@connercronin3832 Nah man, Tyler has much better instincts in this game. He knows which pieces are under tension/compression and which are stabilizers. Matt regularly does trial and error, removing random pieces to see what works.
When Tyler actually tries instead of taking the first "under half budget" solution he gets, he's fully capable of taking 1st in the world. Matt can only beat 0.1% of Tyler's full power.
@@rashido_grey I mean what I've said is pretty quickly verifiable by watching his videos, he has entire videos dedicated to taking 1st place on the leaderboard when a level takes his fancy. Matt always tries to take the record with a sad attempt at cheese or just pretends the level doesn't exist when it happens.
