- Episode 1 can be found here - • 1959 Cat D7D Bulldozer...
In this video, my buddy Will and I were able to start a 1959 Cat D7D dozer that had been sitting in a cow pasture in south Texas for 10+ years! We had to overcome several obstacles along the way, but IT'S ALIVE!!!! In the next episode, we hope to drive it out of the hole that it's been sitting in for over a decade!!!

I’m betting it’s gonna make you decent tractor! We’ve drug a bunch of ol tractors out of the bushes and got em percolating again! They are hard to kill! 👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🙏🙏
I agree! These old Cats are tough, and this particular tractor has a lot of life left in her!! Thanks, Scott
Fantastic! Vintage Iron Clanking!
Proud of you!
Thanks, it was a glorious day! Scott
Congratulations on getting it fired off! I was on the edge of my seat, rooting for you!
Fun videos, thank you for sharing here as well as on ACMOC forum! Juiceman.
Hey Juiceman - Good to see you here! You and the rest of the crew at acmoc.org have been a huge help! Thanks, Scott
I didn't think you could get the old girl going, but you did ... nice work! Maybe the advise from the cow helped?
Hi Roy - good to hear from you again. I was fairly certain we would get her started, but getting her to move is another task altogether. Wish me luck! Scott
Hi, The Bulletproof Garage.
GREAT stuff. Thanks for sharing.
That metal screen that you 'put back in' is intended for just that. It is a washable screen designed to catch any large particles and be used over and over. So long as it has ZERO holes in the screen and still has its shape, it'z good for another round.
The other filters in the tower are the ones that are designed to be replaced.
Just my 0.02.
You all have a wonderful day. best wishes. Deas Plant.
Hi Deas Plant - glad to see you made it over here from acmoc.org as well! Thanks for the info! Scott

Very cool to see your work pay off Scott! Can't wait to see you get it moving under its own power. BTW love the 2017 FCA shirt!
Hey Karl - Good to hear from you! Hope to have the old girl moving in the next week or two. Best, Scott
Great job Scott. Can’t wait till your next installment! Happy New Year to you and the long haired General!
Thanks, Mr. Breeze! Happy New Year to you and yours as well! Scott
That’s a cool resto. Best of luck with it!
Thanks for the input! Scott
Great job, Scott!! Congrats!!
Hey Dr. Matt - Good to see you here! Scott
good job
Thanks!
Fun stuff!
Yes, indeed!
Check the plug on the right side of the winch
Thanks
It's alive, from the Garage Journal.
It is indeed alive! Glad to see more of my GJ friends here!!! Scott
There is a drain on the filter housing
You know, it sure seems like there should be one, but I didn't notice one. I'll look again the next time I'm out there. Thanks, Scott
what fell on it and why is the RH sprocket so high??
Hi John - it had to be a tree, and a big one at that! Good question on the sprocket; I need to take a closer look at that the next time I'm out there. Thanks, Scott
Is it home yet?
Not yet! It's a long drive at about 2 mph!
@@THEBULLETPROOFGARAGEWould love to see a rebuild.. you are like me. Manuals prior to buying. Just found a Super Rare book for 1966 Mercury. Small fortune.
@@randysrestoration - absolutely! Need the shop manual, body manual, service manual, etc. Wealth of information! Scott
@@randysrestorationI doubt you'll have to consult the book on that beautiful Mercury for quite a while... unless they also cover polishing tips and tricks!
