I thought they all sound very different! The Super Phat and Red Ruby were my favorites but I liked the two stacked pedals too. White Atom was nice but sounded more like a fuzz.
They all sound very different, they change the sound hugely when used into different amps (something you could test easily with your modelling amp), they all react to different levels of gain b4 and after and the settings all adjust differently making for their own unique tones at certain settings.
You're right of course, I was being slightly facetious. And the reality is that they probably sound similar because I've accidentally set them all to quite similar tones. After all, I've set them to how I like them, and I more than likely like one kind of sound more than others.
Interestingly, while typing this, I'm scrolled away from the video which is still running, and without seeing the change visually, it's not that obvious when it's a new pedal...
You should really consider asking for at least a bunch of pedals from EHX. I bought the Glove after your (great) OCD video. And I'm really satisfied. Keep it up mate. Great work.

The Pedal Bored well, about distortion pedals, I can say at Boss' prices there is stuff that is far better (like the EHX OD GLOVE, Xvive T1 Golden Brownie, Mooer Hustle Drive, etc...).
Boss is decent/good in modulation. But 80s Boss Chorus, Flangers and such are so staggering that you can swim in those creamy sounds. Otherwise there is only one good drive being produced nowadays and it is much better if modded: Blues Drive. Otherwise only Waza stuff can do the job
I completely agree. Never cared for Boss drives. The only Boss stuff I enjoy is the CE2, the RE20 and the DD7. For fuzz I go EHX, for drive and other goodies it depends. Some pretty affordable and good clones out there too not to be dismissed
Nice job and great editing! It would be really cool if you did this again with 10 different (or the same) pedals but had them set for a low to mid overdrive sound, for those of us who like less grit. 😉😁 I’ve been thinking about getting an overdrive pedal and the way you compare the pedals here is perfect! Either way, awesome vid! Thanks! 👍
My takeaway from it all? Drive pedals all sound very similar...

It is indeed basically a fuzz. Or a hybrid one, at least. I love Magnetic Effects pedals. They look lovely. Which is a silly reason to like them.

Glove kicked ass IMO

This is great! Love the editing here, very slick! Killer tones as well.

The Pedal Bored right on. I'll have to check that out!
I'm digging these videos that this dude does. Cool idea.
EHX Glove OD!
EHX OGD FTW!
Really, that Glove killed it! No matter what you put it against to. It holds its ground like a champ
The bassman has a very different sound from the others but not necesarily good.
The JHS has a nice low-mid clarity. Phat Mod on the high gain was great tho. very nice video bro, editing, comparison style, nice.
Thanks! I have become slightly obsessed with comparing pedals like this recently... More videos in this style to come!
Boss BD-2, all day. Great video!
Your Demo's made me buy an OD Glove today
I really liked the first one there.... Phat Mod was pretty good too. I'm really enjoying this videos. Keep em coming! Subbed
Ryan Wright The Glove is EHX's version of the Fulltone OCD. An excellent pedal.
EHX makes a good pedal. Probably one of my favorite manufacturers.
Boss DS-2 still a very good pedal
Funny riff, great content !
Glove for me ✊
I liked the stacked oxblood
JHS ruby red have the best own voice for me... the rest are ok but similar) thnx for review
The Glove is how it should be !
Keeley stole the show here for me with the Super Phat and the Oxblood/1962X pairing. All the others sounds gray and distant.
Love the books. Recommendations or just added vibe?
been looking for some new books ;)
Victor Levy And I've read almost all of them :)
That riff is so cute
Glove OD and White Atom.
Kept the Glove, sold the Atom.
That was great!
Hey bro I love your videos. When are you gonna make another video?
I plan to but life keeps getting in the way…
@@ThePedalBored I see. But anyway, thanks for the in-depth videos about pedals. They're very comprehensive and helpful.
That Hamstead...
Killer!!
I've got a slightly shitty unedited video of it up against the Jackson Audio Prism. Maybe I'll get round to uploading it...
That would cool to hear!
It is funny, though; drive pedals do sound similar. And yet... I keep buying more of them! :)
do one on OCD type drives
Bruno Brogio I have two waiting to be edited...
The Boss ones sounded terrible. The 62 & Oxblood were the best for me
The boss ds2 imo sounds horrid
Cuts through the mix but I feel that way with the ds1 as well..
sounds better in turbo mode...for me
Glove
Great editing. I didn't like any of the pedals. They all sounded fizzy.
T FP Ha!!
Hamstead 🤟
-1 point for that oaf Will Self. Sorry dude.
Which leaves me on 999,999, right?
@@ThePedalBored Checks out, yep.
I think Boss pedals are sooo overrated...
Ha! Now that's a surprising stance to take, when they're (in general) so cheap!

Diogo Azevedo I agree 100%!

meh. all average. go EHX for value
Fizzy Crap . Your killing folks that don't know ..These over drive & Muffs ..MADE FOR REAL AMPS !
Glad to help!
