Driver challenges the $9,000 increase in property tax value on car and wins

Instead of just paying the higher rate for her car tax value a Durham woman took her fight to the county. She got to plead her case to the Durham County Board of Equalization and Review. She questioned, "How could it jump up $9,000 within one year?"

It’s personal property tax. It means all of your personal property is taxable. You do not own a fucking thing in this country if you don’t pay your taxes.
