I really appreciate your effort in making this video! After 45 yrs I am watching those censor cut parts of the 🎥 it is thrilling experience! When I was just 18 yrs old when the film was released! Myself and my friends were just mad of that film and I have seen this movie about 30 times! Even today I don't miss to watch on TV. Many many thanks for bringing this wonderful, rare video!

In Mera gaon mera desh 1971 Vinod Khanna Name was in film Jabbar Singh.And In Sholey 1975 Amjad Khan Name was Gabbar Singh.And story was very close.Closer home, Sholay owes a big debt to Raj Khosla's Mera Gaon Mera Desh, released in 1971. The basic plot details, which in turn appear to have been inspired by Akira Kurosawa's masterpiece Seven Samurai (1954), are similar: a former Army soldier recruits a criminal to save his village from a cruel dacoit.
