Hindi Cinema ki iconic film sholay ka yeh episode bahoot achcha laga. Very interesting detailed information. I never knew about the parallel climax scenes when gabbar singh gets killed and veeru and thakur hug each other. It was a very groungbreaking emotional scene. I wished it was approved and they kept it. I wonder why the sensor beard had problem with it? In most of the films villains get killed anyways and a ruthless decait like gabbar who killed many innocents and also one of the lead heroes should have been killed in the story, can't believe that he just got arrested in the end. Climax was disappointing but overall the movie is classic entertainer. Jai Veeru friendship has become a symbol of friendship and is used as a reference even in today's time. Everything about this film is iconic. Loved the episode. ❤❤❤

I was in 9th class when I saw this film in Mysore.My school had arranged a seven day trip from a small town in Pune District to Bangalore and Mysore.It was an icing on the cake for a boy like me to watch such great Film with tour of beautiful cities like Bangalore and Mysore.

❤फिल्म शोले जब रिलीज़ हुई ,तब मैं कक्षा दस का विद्यार्थी था शुरु के दो सप्ताह फिल्म बहुत ढीली धी। मैने पन्द्रह दिन में ही शोले दो बार देख ली थी दोनों ही बार फिल्म में असरानी और जेल वाला सीन नहीँ था ,सूरमा भोपाली से मिलने और इनाम का हिस्सा फाइनल होने के बाद फिर से सूरमा भोपाली की डींग हांकने वाले सीन की शुरुआत हो गई थी जहां वीरु और जय सूरमा भोपाली के सामने अचानक आ जाते हैं दोंनो को अचानक सामने देखकर सूरमा भोपाली की घिग्घी बंध जाती है दो सप्ताह बाद असरानी और जेल वाला सीन शामिल करने के बाद ही फिल्म ने रफ्तार पकड़ी थी ।

When i watched sholay for the first time in my childhood, i saw thakur and didnt know the actor was sanjeev kumar. I thought the actor was indeed old in his 60s but later i found out that he was none other than sanjeev kumar and i was shocked like hell. He looked same age as dharmendra in real life and when i searched their age in google when i became familer with internet, i was like shocked much more when i found out that sanjeev kumar was 3 years younger than dharmendra ( i was like how come thakur is younger than Veeru)??? That was my reaction. And also the fact that he was only 4 years older than amitabh bachchan also shocked me. It shows how much versatile actor he was. Just like a chameleon.
