I really enjoyed this video. Back in the 70s Lime Rock Park was my favorite track to run as a second tier amateur. I don't know how many times I butt clinched going downhill after the bridge. Oh, too fast and mowed grass. 😅 I did get to meet some pro drivers too and always got encouragement from the likes of the master of Lime Rock, Sam Posey. Great times for sure. I'm anticipating your new build too. Thanks for your videos.
"run consistent, don't make any mistakes". That's what make a great driver, a greater driver. Awesome video, love your content dude, the narrative helps to understand better what is on the screen :)
Glad to see some videos coming out, you’re definitely my favorite driver from GL… & as a 4door enthusiast seeing you go from the hatch to this, it’s even more fun watching you give them hell.
This channel and the content it produces is up there with the best of the content creators of the same niche. The channel deserves way more subs. Congrats on an excellent production and awesome racing, fabricating, wrenching and project management. 🤙
Wow, thank you! I have a lot of content to share, but my editing skills are still lacking haha. Can't even get the sound levels right lol. I'll figure it out but at the end if the day, I just want to show the racing and building part, not going to get too artsy on the editing
Super fun to watch! Very entertaining! Really good driving from you, nice to see a heavily modified car getting som serious track time, biggest problem with modifying is that the seat time decreases as the mods increase
The B has potential, however they need to be built which is costly and that's on top of ridiculous B series Vtec prices these days. But even then, they won't compare to the k due to the lack of torque. I think the only option in gltc would probably a built, high revving b20 Vtec in a lighter chassis like a CRX with a super short gearbox.
Yup exactly! No need for me to mod it when it makes 230 whp stock on e85. I detune down to around 200 whp so it has plenty of power down low to keep it 200 hp flat for about 2000 rpm
This is just as exciting as watching f1. Great driving Eric the 4door is a beast.
Thanks dude!
@EricKutilRacing those 4 doors dont get enough love. But they happen to be my favorite body style, and I've owned 2.
watching you in this civic absolutely FLYING down the track, leaving BMWs and vettes in the dust is just incredible.
100% NICE . Love it

Yeah, what an incredible track. It was truly amazing to race there and get to experience it. The uphill and downhill, so epic

Much appreciated! While I do love building cars, racing them is even better!
Nice job with editing nicely done ✅
Thanks! Still got a little more to learn, especially with audio stuff.
🎉
Are you going to do a build series on UA-cam on the 2nd eg shell?
Yup, that's exactly the plan!
Are B series engines less competitive? I know there are some advantages from the K but can B series be competitive?
The B has potential, however they need to be built which is costly and that's on top of ridiculous B series Vtec prices these days. But even then, they won't compare to the k due to the lack of torque. I think the only option in gltc would probably a built, high revving b20 Vtec in a lighter chassis like a CRX with a super short gearbox.
@@EricKutilRacing Ok thanks.... So your K only has light mods then and tuning so its more reliable because it's close to stock?
Yup exactly! No need for me to mod it when it makes 230 whp stock on e85. I detune down to around 200 whp so it has plenty of power down low to keep it 200 hp flat for about 2000 rpm
@@EricKutilRacing Wow! Cool just like Group A
Curious question! Do you use thermostat or let it open for cooling?
I use a thermostat, yes. A low temp hybrid racing to be exact
what kind of lap times are you running at lime rock with this setup?
Are the e36 m3 and others downtuned to be in this class?
Pretty much everyone is detuned to achieve a flat power hp graph
Too long? Nay… not long enough
Haha you'll have to wait for part 2 then!
