Unboxing and Setting up the RODE Lavalier GO on the RODE Wireless GO with Audio Comparisons

- You might remember a few videos ago I unboxed and played with the RODE Wireless Go - Black (UK - amzn.to/37GRFLK / USA - amzn.to/2Koe9bI). Well, I picked up a RODE Lavalier GO (UK - amzn.to/3879CDA / USA - amzn.to/3rKe2rI) to go with it, and in this video I unbox it and set it up on my Sony ZV-1 (UK - amzn.to/3kVX8SX / USA - amzn.to/325EEbd )
As well as this I do some audio tests using the RODE Lavalier GO, RODE Wireless GO and my RODE NT1-A

Thanks a mill, i first didn't know about removing the Mic wind reduction foam, Doh, and then i was thinking HTF do i assemble this awesome MIC in two the wire holder!!!, it has absolutely zero instructions. Had mine for a good few weeks, absolutely love it!! Never got the Mic out the box until today. RODE i am sure others have nearly wrecked the mic, I am not the only dumb ass surely!! thanks again!! (ps thats what she said)!!!

You've got to be really careful with that windshield. When I got mine I pulled it off* like you did, with a pinch on the top, and the foam immediately came away from the base of it. Managed to superglue it back on ok but probably good to always pull from the base!

Hey, i hope someone can give me a bit of advice. The microphone doesn't work when i connect it to the wireless go. It does work when i connect it directly to my phone. And the wireless go microphone also works on its own, but as soon as I put the Lavalier between them something is off. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to solve it? Thanks in advance!
It sounds like you’ve got a lav mic designed for phones rather than one for the Wireless Go.. I think they have different connections
