A fact to be realized...if we are converting moisture from air as water. The air would become dry and hot, that would affect the cloud formation & rainfall drastically.
We're in a coastal city. Regardless of the consumption, the sea will make the place humid.
@Bharanidharan G Humidity is not the only factor for precipitation, Abhishek Raman is right about Coastal Humid conditions. This is Nature, Not lab testing that if we do something, it will affect immediately or directly.

When there is no underground water how can a solar panel project will not be helpful ?The basic zero day must be tackled first.
Even the solar pump has got more maintenance problems and Electricity Board link if any must be processed easily.

This is a common misconception. There is a difference between air temperature and the temperature that you feel in your body. Humidity increases the feels like temperature. That's why you feel hot in coastal cities though the air temperature itself is lesser
Air gets lighter , and air will become dry ...and it will start showing effects as such as loo wind...it may be done for temporary solution...if air gets further dry , eveng plants and other small microorganisms Wich involve such ecological system would get disturbed ... And this is not the solution
Only your comment didn't get any reply. So here I am telling you that air wont become dry. Even if there are 7 Billion of these machines (one for each citizen of Earth), it wont bother the weather or climate in any way.
Sir your idea is so good but disadvantage of moisture removing from atmosphere will leads to increase air temperature in atmosphere surrounding

People when they do rain water harvesting grey water harvesting solar energy harvesting must have a thorough understanding of different requirement for each type..they should not embark on water harvesting by mixing rainwater (which requires no filter)with grey water which requires different levels of filters if done with half baked knowledge then we might tend to pollute the ground water more
