He looks like a young-chubby Elon Musk tho. Haha!
Slow Elon Musk
So, a young Elon Musk?
God dammit. That's all I see now. Thanks a lot.
😆 for sure
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Lowering = awesome
Excessive camber = ehhhh
track alignment/drift alignment = dope
My car is lowered with few degrees of camber. You can definitely see it, but it's not insane.
sorry drift is weak also
Jasper's car looks dope as hell to each his own he's just doing what makes him happy!
Shut up
im surprised one question wasnt "why static not bags", seriously missed an opportunity
antsolja maybe cuz of cash reasons...
@@dennisvanderben2719 all the tires he be destroying could be saved to buy bags.
Dennis Vanderben he doesn't seem to have a issue with money
Cheaper than bags, easier than bags, less parts, less things to break, and having the bragging rights of being retarded low and static
antsolja bags are for groceries.
"I'm interviewing a child" haha yeah
Pretty much summarized any discussion with someone whose into...hella camber 😂😂
I like the non biased interview. You gave him a chance to speak about his stance fetish. I respect his build. I'm not a fan of stance and still think you shouldn't drive fast on it. Lowered is cool. That crazy negative camber stuff makes me shake my head. Sorry, just an opinion. Great interview though!
HippieSkippy100 -7 degrees isn't even that crazy
soundlesspeal - Sure, but when your camber is to the point it's a hazard for yourself and others around you is the kind of camber that makes me smh. If you have second thoughts about getting to even highway speeds, I think you should ask yourself is it worth it. I think riding on bags would be better if you want to park your car with a squat. But that's just my opinion.
To each his own. Wether modding cars or not. As a true car guy/gal you learn to appreciate all.
75% my ass😂😂 I would say 30%-40% on a good day
I respect this guy even more for having Mercedes 190 as a dream car :)
Except that he would take a limited production super rare car and s*** on it by stancing it out.
The Toothless Vegan as long as he loves the car and takes care of it im fine with him doing whatever he wants with it
The Toothless Vegan they made 500 models ever not each year and still I would love to see it on air cuz nobody ever did that ✌️🏻
Fila 500 total. Even worse.
If he wants to shit on a car. Let him shit on a EVO clone.
Let him go buy a 190 with a manual transmission and shit on that after he makes it look like an EVO.
He's a fake ass, buster ass, Cake Boy anyways. So why would he want the real thing. He can just make a clone and stance it out and be a chump. Why be a chump with the real thing when he can be just as big a chump with the Clone.
The Toothless Vegan not each year but only 502 where made
I L I K E T O P A R T Y
"Ive ruined no tires from stance"
Riiiiiiggggghhhhhttttttt..... Haha
Man, I wish I was this oblivious about people's opinion. And I mean that in the best way possible.
i like stance, obviously to a point- not when they go overboard with the camber where it becomes unnecessary or dangerous
Same, I daily drive a pounded static car and don't have all these crazy issues due to the fact that I don't push excessive camber and shit parts, gotta know your cars limit .
75%, more like 10% tops
Yeah I say that's about right
Nah, more like 80%. You should probably search Instagram, alot more people love it
youtube comments "Fuck stance"
instagram "Bro slam it"
If you are into modifying cars and the custom car scene, you won't keep stock suspension and can appreciate another person's effort in making something that looks impossible somewhat functional. If you like stock height, why would you watch this channel at all?
@@plainpawesome nothing to do with not modifying suspension. I'm only talking about this type of stance with stupid camber. Obviously lowered cars with decent fitment please almost everyone... (my car is lowered as well, but on a functional height..)
Take a shot everytime he says "like"
Like 2 shots every like sentence
190e as a dream car, gotta love Jasper
i love stance and i love jaspers car. he’s my inspiration. many ppl don’t like his style but that’s another part of the stance scene tbh. the ppl tht go out their way to say sum negative is something else but i love his car and i’m glad fitment ind has a variety of car guys. one has bags, one has a “rally” subie, one has a porsche, and the other is stanced. it fits the name of the company
I was a stance guy, and then I realized how much fun I was missing, now I'm building my gs3 for drift!
Why make your car unusable for actual driving in slamming it and why make your car not be able to grip for camber
Omar Andres some gives more grip, 1-2 degrees does not 7
@@omarandres5129 does he race his car tho? So what's your point?
Alex Strömberg i want the answer on this haha.
Omar Andres by the time the car makes a lap the tires would be bald because of the excessive inner wear that it would have with 7 degrees.
Omar Andres some negative camber. About 3° max for a street car. And those idiots that don't know how tires work they're meant to move around the rim. As you corner you were producing large amounts of force on the sidewall. And the sidewall takes that Forest by stretching and allowing little bit of movement. When a tire is completely scratched onto a rim there is zero movement. And that makes the terrible performance. Let alone having seven degrees of negative camber. This piece of s*** BMW completely unfunctional. It cannot take a corner fast. It cannot go fast down the road because it's so shity. Why have a car you can only drive 25 miles an hour and cannot Corner hard. Fuc that stands b*******. It's for idiots that don't understand functionality.
Back in the 60's or so people used to mount their steelies backward to give the car that roller skate look everyone seems to love. So "Stance" has been around for a long time and will probably always have its subset in the car scene.
A little tidbit of information to "stiff suspension is awesome at the track". It might be "OK" in a flat parking lot cone track, but actual tracks with elevation changes and off angle turns etc will never benefit from the "my suspension is so stiff so my fenders wont shred my tires" track suspension static stance people run.
Jasper is my hero. PLZ more of this car
Hey if you enjoy it, go for it...I do think stance car looks cool though, aesthetically pleasing yeah. Will never do it to my own though, but you do you!
I like any type of build but my favorites are slammed/cambered. I respect all types of builds because all are cool.
Honestly, who the fuck cares if you don't like the car, He obviously loves his car and that's all that matters, Respect All Builds.
Only because that is his dream car, earned a follower. And a sub.
i love jasper, baller whip baller personality baller wheels made them fit cuz thass what we do to cars if it dont fit make it fit thass the nice thing bout cars we have the freedom to do what we want to them, his car his build any real car guy should respect his build cuz he built it himself thass what its bout at the end of the day.. if you hate him for building his car the way he likes it, you are whats ruining the car community not the stanced cars nuff said he takin no L’s in 2018
skooly 💯💯
You need an infinite amount of upvotes. There's so much salt in this comment-section. People force their opinions on everyone they can. The average car-guy that spreads hate on any style of car is no better than the average vegan trying to push veganism on the public.
Most people in the comments section talking about how not many people like the stance cars? Maybe you all should go to Instagram and search Stance Nation and you'll see how many people love stance lol. Love the car Jasper, makes me angry when everyone disrespects you on the videos so much (alex and other dude with "rally subie")
I fucking love videos like this guys
As a younger kid just getting into cars, static and lowered cars are really the only thing I know about the car community. And so I didn’t really know a lot of people don’t like it. What about it makes it ugly or undesirable? And what are the other types of builds people prefer over stanced cars?
Really nice dream car Jasper - great taste.
Oh ok
This Q&A more honest than the Presidential debates with Hillary.
Dear FI thanks for always loving my comments.👍
Hey Shawn, Thanks for watching our videos every week. You the real MVP 🏆
jasperrrr lmfao
Debeading can happen any time. Slow speed and turns are factors too!
Do what you want bois 🤘🏾 Yo money yo car 👍🏾
One of my favorite E36’s that’s local to Chicago
Most people DON'T like it.
Dave J I also think so... 🤔😂
You mean most old people don't like it 🤣
It's more like 60%
Aaron Coffey Define "old"?
Speak for yourself. I love this shit!
I'm not a stance guy, but from a purely stylistic perspective, function taken out of the equation, that BMW looks badass.
Stuff like "those Lexus limousines" are way overdone on my eyes, but that BMW looks very good on collapsed suspension.
The maturity explains his choices...
His car looks like it was stepped on. It probably drives like that too.
Actually, it probably corners and takes turns better than your yacht.
I like Jasper. He is a cool dude. I don't like stance vehicles, but I'll let Jasper do Jasper.
I wish he gave more serious answers, but I love his e36.
Gotta love Jasper
190 Evo II is a proper dream car.
I feel like Jasper has been wearing the same pants in every video. Can we start a GoFundMe for this guy.
I feel it though, car parts or new pants. Car parts win every time.
that bemmer looks good with that stance
Zaaaamn jasper in that thumbnail tho😻
Keep up the great work and the awesome vids
Thanks man! Will do!
I like some stanced cars, but im on the side that would only run a functional car. Im more of a function>form guy now. I used to think stance was the best thing ever but 3 years later and driving others cars made me realize that function is better
Not a stance guy but *damn* that bimmer looks delicious
Honestly i read some comments calling him stupid and just saying he is making excuses or that most people dont like it and even that he dont deserves his dream car but i think that if this is his style fuck it the car looks good and it works as a show car it doesnt need all the grip for its use he needs to have a car that he likes and i think is gokd for he to show and do his car the way he wants because its his fucking car
Done right, me like...circa 90's BTCC Alfa 155, Peug 405, A4s...Beemeer.🤘
General rule says "Stance" is like "Ladies' High heels"; they're just to look good. Matter of opinion, fine.
However, the difference is that... when it makes you fall, the heels won't hurt no one except maybe the one wearing the heels. Stance? You're "supposed" to share the public* road.
↑ Got my dose of rant.
Bring back jasper need more static
Hey another 190evo guy, what a car.
The function has not been taken out of multipiece wheels, the function is catering for a different purpose.
It depends on perspective and the reason why you're using multipiece wheels, if the purpose is for practicality; then you've removed all function, however, if the perception is "to look baller" than it has met it's purpose 100%.
For what multipiece was originally intended for it has destroyed all purpose. For what motivated this setup, multipiece has 100% justification.
Multi Piece wheels are baller!
I watched this one with such mixed feelings! :D This guy legit represents everything I hate in the Car Community with me being a function guy, and yet drives my favorite car an E36 Convertible xD
This is not a bad stamced car cause the camber isn’t extreme
When he said his dream car was an EVO II i felt that
Being a static car guy is very hard, especially if you have bad roads everywhere. What I don't understand is someone who slammed their cars to the ground to the point you can't even drive it on wavy roads or slightly bumpy roads. I saw many people do this, and they look proud if they just smashed their oil pan or maybe stuck on a driveway smh.
So yeah, I'm more of a functional stance car guy. and his BMW's fitment is lit thoo nice
Bet you forgot about this comment haha. You probably figured all this out but I'll answer some of these for fun, people slam their cars to the ground to get the bumpers, side skirts on the ground to look better another part is, the frame and exhaust will shoot sparks when rolling some people raise exhaust some let it drag. People getting proud over bashing oil pan or getting stuck most likely relates to them achieving their desired low since most people don't actively seek out frame to ground clearance. They accomplished their goal, getting stuck and bashing oil pans are comparable to notching a pistol or a tattoo after unaliving someone (best comparison I can think of). There's most likely a better reason but I don't know right now.
Static is the new low rider 🤷🏽♂️
If i lower my car and “slam” it on coils but put an air lift system to keep it a ridable height is that a crime
How do you plan on having bags and coilovers?
Jesus everything is an excuse 😂
To be totally honest, I think MOST people DON'T like that...
He only said it to feel better about himself...
Back in the day, the stretched style tires/wheels combo actually looked good, and everything fitted together properly...
Today It's OVER DONE, and looks ridiculous...
Respect for him to drive the car like that though... ✌
His build is not overdone imo and go to any car meet and at least half the cars are stanced
King Swade
Yes, I know... They all look the same stance-wise... unfortunately...
It's like most people don't know any other wheel/tire combo...
Was a passenger in a static Audi a few times good looking mid 2000's A4 with an RS4 front bumper and I guess 19's and a 2.0 diesel, horrible driving comfort lol
You deserve more subscribers.
Look at how the tuner cars from the late 90’s and early 2000’s cars didn’t really have stance what we called stance was lowering springs maybe and some lexani wheels so when my generation has kids they will look back on the huge camber and flares as we look back on old super street and import tuner mags
That haynes Boy
It's OK, by the time your kids have grown up, people will have wiper blades on their eyeballs so that they can see through the tears of laughter.
what a dream car choice 💯🔥🔥 90s dtm was the best
His 328i is super niceee
"That's baller -_-"
Do you pay Jasper? my boy needs a new pair of jeans. Every video bro
i have a black e36 sedan; mine its a 318 m50b25 swap with a track set up going on
he's a cool stance guy and i agree with his dream car,
a 190e whit all the widebody its a dooooopeee car
Sounds dope man have you uploaded your ride to our gallery? bit.ly/2Ma4oca
He says “cuz it looks good”. I don’t think his car looks bad but I think the best way to drop you car that low is with bags, cuz static is kinda not worth it especially if it’s your daily
we should vote if we like stance cars or not
I think crazy stance with -30 degrees will be looked back at in 20 years similarly to the generic civic ricers of the mid 2000s tbh. I like his build because it’s not insane and it looks pretty hot and it’s going to be timeless but all the fresh out of high school boys with the crazy camber FRS will die out pretty quickly.
love the look but in 1 year i chewed out 4 sets on the rear and got f’ing sick of buying tyres, i got my camber taken in from neg 7 to neg .5, doesn’t look as good but i get loads more grip and my cheap and nasty linglongs are coming up to 6 months and still got plenty tread.
brad c try to adjust your toe to 0. It's actually not camber that kills tyres fast, but toe. When you slam a car it usually toes in as hell in the rear and the added friction plus the smaller contact patch eats the tyre. I have always set my rear toe at 0 or near 0, my cars have from -4 to -7* and I don't change tyres more than someone with a "normal" car.
Its stupid because it makes it so there is no grip on straights and no grip on corners
Hes not even running that much camber lol. Stfu
Love the camber community
75% hahahaha, I love it but many people don’t
Great vid guys!
Hey Guys!!! Can u do a segment on maintaining Rally and race/show quality vehicles...? aka Subaru STI lol Thankx
I respect his dream car the 190e evo 2 was a dream car of mine as well
I love reading the comments of people absolutely 💩’n on this guy’s car. Honestly stance is either something you love or you don’t. Cars are so diverse like their drivers and if you don’t like someone’s car, cool, you don’t have to look at it. I love your guys videos and appreciate the fact that you have such a diverse staff to give unbiased opinions... now off to enjoy the rest of my day 😂
This guys needs to sell his car and go back to bicycles. Race cars dont run anywhere near 7 degrees camber! What a MAROON!
E Zacher
He's a deep shade or red akin to crimson?
😭
Yeah, maroon 5!
He is truly a moron. And all these s******* Millennials are coming out of the woodwork like roaches defending him. But they have nothing intelligent to say so all they say is f*** off or call us old.
pretty much. Things a danger to every person it is atound.
The Toothless Vegan lol you can curse on the Internet buddy no one is gonna hurt you
My man rocking a Five Three Supply hat @evanshanks
Now whether to stance my future 240 or not to is the question. 🤔
Most people hate it, I see more hate for cambered cars then any other. Me personally I like all styles of cars, if modded nicely with details.
Urban Kyng
I like the "cube" look the dudes at the breakers give cars....
Jasper should try that with his beemer.
75% I don’t like that more like.
Love this car
The silver wheel , the second from down to up, the second from right...the one that looks like Japan Racing JR9 or BBS RS...What wheel is that ?
ESR SR03 I see we only have one size and finish available lol! However feel free to check it out on our site here! --> bit.ly/2WglgDx
Most people like it ....i believe
I mean shit i like to party but im driving a "grand"father's boy subaru forester atm. Saving for a truck, then ima do pretty damn near what jasper did. Older 90s beamer, slam it, static, camber, widebody
Stance guys believe everybody loves their shit and stance makes the car perfect and nothing bad ever comes from stance. They would torch their own car before admitting it.
too much of anything can be a bad thing, I think static stance cars prove that just because they're so impractical its just painful. Can look cool but I only really rate people that use air for that stuff.
2% of the car community actually enjoys stance cars, the rest are intellectuals
I think to most people a good looking car isn't one that's impractical, that can go up little ramps, driveways without ripping themselves apart and ones that can do anything from cruising, to time attacks to hill climbs etc. I think the 75% of people liking a overly cambered car is a bit unrealistic. It is a nice car, I'd say that, but for me it could do with a lot less camber. I like a wide track, some what of a negative camber and having the wheels/ tyres nice and flush with the guard or a bit before the lip.
Also no excuses on your tyres being messed up, it's plain and simple to why, because you have such horrid geometry and stretched tyres are a factor, just plain and simple.
Make a pool of who like it and who hate it 😁
Most people hate stance
