I think a lot of players either haven't realized that fact or still running after FP's. The nutcracker became one of the most important buildings you can have.
A guild member brought it to our attention a while back and since then I always check before I harvest. Thankfully, most of the time it’s just 3-5 buildings. So, everything on nutcracker this event. Next Feta farms are in the pipe. 😅
MooingCat, thanks for your many tips. In your sortable table (love it), Aqueduct from Iron Age seems to be missing. I noticed when I searched for buildings 1x3 or 3x1. HNY!
if you going for a 2nd main building you should not buy 555 stars for 5930 diamonds via 100 stars packs but via elf shop as it costs around 4963 diamonds for 700 stars including shuffling and if you want both calendar and 2nd main building you can get 70*10 stars and 10*5 key fragments(10 full keys) for around 4538 ( if max shuffle is 1 less) *2 =9076
I haven’t used this feature before - how do you get to 4963? Does the cost of shuffling go up each time? Do you only get stars in the reward pool every now and again? If stars are always there, then surely you need only 10 shuffles at 20 diamonds plus 2995 to buy it all at the end.
10:48 the 60% value is incorrect, should be defence for attacking army instead Which means the gold league building gives far more total defence, while the calendar building gives far more total attack
The units is good on the tree 🌲 It puts itself as a replacement for two Viceroy Villa. The points is a little low, especially if you're using a blue galaxy to boost it even though the footprint is smaller, it's still lot less on the double.
@mooingcatfoe, One sentence of your guide did not make sense to me (at the end of the Calendar section, just before "Diamond Spending Costs" section): "If you go for daily challenges, you're lucky to get 3 full keys, so you probably need to buy 16 additional keys, for 8000 diamonds." Edit or clarify please and thanks? Were you perhaps referring to getting fewer keys if you go for daily specials, saving all your stars to only use on one day? Also, your guide this year omits the extra stars that we can get from Incidents (although the amount of such free stars on Beta was a bit contentious this year). How do the number of Daily Specials and chances of completing the Calendar improve if you get 150/300 Stars from incidents over the course of the event? Thanks.
Ok so you’re telling me I have to pay to claim the rewards THAT I GOT in the elves workshop??? Bc I already filled mine up and now what do I do someone help bs if I actually gotta have to pay 30 euro for that then THATS A FULL ON SCAM.
Also: L2 Nog shop gives 3 fragments of the main event building (Winter Wonderland Pyramid), vs 1 fragment at L1. Level 3 and 4 give 3 fragments of the silver/gold selection kit, which means that it takes you LONGER to get a full building from L3 or L4 Nog shop than from a L2 Nog shop.
The higher selection kits still give you the Level 1 and regular upgrade options so, no, it doesn't take longer to get the full building. It's the same number of pieces. @@davidbarry6900

I was finding that over 10 event buildings per day weren’t motivated - costing 100’s of FP’s every day unless I use the mass self aid

It’s 3000 diamonds not euros; you can farm diamonds for free

I haven't seen 3 match sticks when opening gifts, did they nerf that to? Last year I got plenty.
They lowered that to 1-2, but they doubled number of stars, so in sum a buff.

Just for clarification - The level 1 and level 2 do NOT require population or happiness while the level 3 and 4 do require one or both of those.
