I myself, am in the process of doing something different and crazy. I have 3 full runs of both clad Jefferson nickels and Roosevelt dimes from bank rolls and eBay. I'm doing this next one just from pocket change, from me or someone else. At almost a year now, I have quite a few ones left like the silver nickels and all the silver dimes. We gotta keep it interesting. Great video as usual. Any hunt is fun, exciting, and unexpected. We will never find anything, if we don't hunt. ✌️
I am trying to find different ways to make these hunts interesting. I actually did 110 in dimes and 300 in quarters last night and threw all the footage away... it was basically this video minus all of the silver.
In my last hunt, I found two proofs from 1962. A pretty impaired nickel (has a slightly rotated die as well), and a gorgeous penny. The nickel was kinda hard to identify as a proof but the penny was OBVIOUS. Oldest proofs I've found.
There were some 2009 copper Pennie’s produced for collector sets and such. All 2009s made for circulation are copper plated zinc like all other pennies made today.
Pennies are interesting to me in breakdown. My biggest hunt ever was a customer roll dump my first time ever hunting (500+ wheats), but I do far better consistently in bank boxes, to the tune of a 15 to 20 wheat average. And I've found more lower mintage wheats in bank boxes as well, though the number I've found in general is not impressive haha.
Shop around. I am a member at 3 banks with dozens of branches. I have found the ones that will work with me. Some Wells Fargo branches limit to 2 rolls of each denomination. Others will order full boxes for me. Same bank. Different branches.
Very cool hunt!!!! About to watch part 2.
Part 2 is better.
Very good hunts on both videos.
The full put together version will drop Sunday. Just curious how it does.

Nice hunt! Thank you!
Fun hunt
The 1950 D penny is hard to find.
Yes it is!
I normally have more finds in bank rolls, more silver in customer
Where again did you get your book spiral bound? Thanks in advance.
UPS store will do it. My store did it for like $7… maybe $9.
Is it true 2009 pennies are copper

I struggle with wheat pennies these days. Few and far between even in boxes. Would love to hit a big score of them though.
Beans
HOW can I get rolls of coins when the bank is soooooooo often unwilling to give me even one roll?
