Have you ever had a problem with gear shifting? In my case it's harder to get into gear when motor is on compared when it's off. I feel some resistance, it's not terrible, but definitely noticeable and annoying. I have 2009 1.4 l 160 hp with 6 speed KWB transmission. I think it's a clutch issue, but don't know what's the problem exactly. Tomorrow I will change gearbox fluid just in case and check if it changes anything.
Hello! I had no issues with the gear shifting, the only thing that was “off” was shifting into 1st gear from 2nd while moving, but I guess that was some kind of protection. Apart from that, nothing really. Try changing the gearbox oil/fluid, I don’t think it has to do something with the clutch.
@@synt3x_cs Thank you for the quick response. I've changed the fluid - no difference at all. I'm not mad because it's still useful thing to do. I'll still try to look for a solution. No way someone would make me believe that it's how it suppose to shift :D Maybe I'm wrong and it's considered normal - we'll see ;)

Hey. I think I know about the noise you talked about. I used to hear it when shifting from 2nd to 3rd and almost dropping the clutch. I guess clutch in this car is not very forgiving in terms of absorbing RPM drop especially when you shift near or above 3k rpms. I've been in like 3 car service shops and all of them told me that everything is ''within the normal range'' of how the clutch should work. I will try to find another car like this and compare how shifting feels. Do you feel a difference when shifting when motor is off and on? Maybe it's normal to feel the difference and I want too much.@@4karya
@@mjjustin9449 Salut. Eu am 1,90 si nu am avut probleme. Sunt mai slabuț si poate m-a ajutat si asta. La cap mai aveam spațiu safe destul si scaunul nu era jos la maxim, dar aveam trapa si poate a fost un avantaj.
Afara iti ia aprox 6, depinde cum o calci (intre 5.5 mers relax si 6.5 mers mai sportiv). In oras cam 8-9, dar poate urca si la 12 daca e ora de varf si e aglomerat.
tsi = tfsi (same engine, tsi e denumirea la vw, skoda, seat si tfsi e la audi, dar 99% sunt same engine) nu am 2.0 pt ca nu am gasit niciuna ok si intretinuta, daca gaseam cel mai probabil luam. but pentru inceput fuge si micuta asta

if the car is in good condition and the previous owner is not a maniac and he has taken care of the car, you can definitely buy the car, no problem! the 122hp versions are much more reliable than the 160hp and if you take good care of them, they can run for more than 250.000km. I didnt have a single problem with it since I bought it, in September, nothing! Last thing I did was the timing chain replacement, which is mandatory for this car (at about 150.000km) but nothing apart from that!
Sold this car a couple of months ago, but as far as I can remember, I had ~10-11 in the city (sporty driving) and for a long highway road it is around 6. It all depends how heavy your foot is on the pedal :)
i bought this car at the beggining of september and all i can say is that its been running perfectly until now. I only changed the timing chain at 143000km (its recommended to change it at around 150.000km on absolutely every 1.4tsi engine) and nothing else. 122hp is enough to have a lot of fun, i installed a sport air filter from k&n which gave me around 5 hp more :))) So, to answer your question, I had no problems with it AND as long as you take care of it, it wont ever have big problems. The 1.4 tsi engine with 160 hp has more problems tho', this one with 122hp is much more reliable.

@@nfx23 you should definitely get it, if the previous owner of the car took care of it, you will have a great experience. I bought mine for a bit more than 8500€. Considering its 2014, I believe this is a good price for it :))

If I find something, it's only in a worse vintage (2009-2013) in similar equipment for 8500-9500 euros). You should ask the owner if he changed the timing chain, because if he didnt, the car might have some other hidden problems
