You're a good man for doing that Buckin! The world needs more friends and neighbours like you. I try my best to help out mine, and pass it on as it were! One step at a time, right? That being said, I thought my 24 inch bar was more than enough for the little pines and poplars I have up here in Northern Alberta, but BC is a whole new breed of trees! Take care good sir, and Love to all!

Buckin. You’re the man. So glad you are still with us. One hell of a guy! Your knowledge and skill blows my mind. The big saws you and your boy run make me drool! I found your channel right after I bough my 5 acres and Stihl 391. Big saw to me. I’ll be honest. Really no experience what so ever. But I managed to clear my land. 650ft driveway and the landing where the house is going to go. Multiple 100ft tall white oaks dropped. Not so hard when you don’t have anything to worry about hitting. But I made it thru it. Some of the hardest work I’ve ever done. Just wanted to say I appreciate you and everything you do and god bless! Fingers crossed one day I can work a big mean saw just like the surgeon you are!

sad thing that you can't please everyone, if you could it would turn into a full time job instead of just doing what you do and hope it helps a few to learn something and in the process have a better day. remember over 1K in likes is always better to focus on than a few dislikes, it is like focusing on the few bad days in a year and forgetting how good it is.

Was thinking of you billy and the great job you do ,had 6 monsters taken down Wednesday,Thursday ,Friday . All stumped also ,what a big job on the hottest days of the year. It made a mess but sometimes progress will make one they cleaned it up pretty good . The chipping made more of a mess than the trees did . Elm,maple ,huge dead ASH .

There is a japanese parable about an artist that fills a cupboard with practice drawings, so that he can draw a masterpiece in just a few strokes. I always get nervous when you stand by the stump, as she goes over. It's really beautiful to watch you cut a tree down. I really appreciate the details of the basic geometry you are using, and how you prep the chain, and such.

Back in 90’s we went through fifty husq 288 xp pros. I compare them to the 70 Camaro ss of chainsaws. Single ring, hit 13,000 all day, sporty light powerhouse, but junky as hell. Always working on em. Then we tried a stihl 44 mag. After about fifty of them, I call it the Cadillac Escalade of saws. Needed upgrade to chain tensioner though. We never looked back at the old 288’s
