Most ppl still think that acne is caused by dirty skin when in fact it is hormonal. High levels of testosterone can cause acne. I personally suffer from acne because my body produces too much insulin and if the insulin doesn't bond with sugar in the blood, it then drifts around and interacts with other areas of the body. If it interacts with the oil-producing glands in the skin, it sends those glands into a hyper-active state, and therefore can easily clog pores.

PRO TIP: Whether you're going to cover it up or not, ALWAYS cleanse and moisturize your face twice a day, and use sunscreen when you're going outdoors. That's the bare minimum. If you wanna do a bit more you can use products that contain vitamin c or retinol/tretinoin (be cautious with those, though). And if you really wanna go the extra mile you can add some fancy serums and essences, but those don't add too much if your basic routine is already solid. Why: - low effort (only 10 mins of your morning & night) - high reward (clean, nourished, good looking skin) - huge variety in products and price ranges; there's always something that suits your skin and budget - confidence boost - stop feeling like you need to cover stuff up Why not: - ???
can you help me with something, when i wake up i wash my face with a cleanser and apply a moisturizer but then i go out without sunscreen bc i wont apply the two products (moisturizer and sunscreen) ate the same time. However, if i dont moisturize it early in the morning my skin gets dry, what should i do? should i not use sunscreen then?
@@fknpires4665 If you feel like putting on both moisturizer and sunscreen is too much, there's two things you can do. You can use a little less moisturizer if you normally put a pretty rich layer, that way it sinks into your skin a bit faster before applying sunscreen. You can also apply your moisturizer and then wait ~10 more minutes to let it sink into your skin before going in with sunscreen. It shouldn't feel like you're basically mixing the two because you either use too much or you apply them immediately after each other. But DEFINITELY always wear sunscreen, sun damage can get pretty nasty if you've gone about your day unprotected for a couple decades. I promise you, if you use both your skin will not feel dry halfway through the day.
@@fknpires4665 There are many moisturizing creams with SPF, actually! All in 1 product. My boyfriend uses a product like that, specifically made for acne-prone skin. :)

Got my acne at 16, and as someone who only used to wash their face with water till the age of 15, barely moisturized and still had clear skin, it was a damn good shock. Nonetheless, two years later, I have learnt a lot about skincare and ykw, I am not rich, somedays barely get by🥴 so it's hard to afford skincare that works and doesn't blow my pockets off. Sometimes my acne leaves behind scars, and ykw, love the skin you are in BECAUSE it is not your fault how your skin is. Really, I switched up my skincare game, focused on hydration inside out, stopped large intake of sugar, sunscreen even being at home, you get it. But sometimes acne wins, and it's alright. It's alright, normal skin has texture and scars and pores, it's alright to be human. If you want to love your acne, remember it's humane, I called mine strawberry freckles. Very cute.
Some points for anyone who's trying to follow this: Please wrap the ice cube in a clean cloth or something as rubbing ice cubes on your skin can cause broken capillaries, which will show up as red lines on your face over time. For covering spots, get a green color corrector for red spots and a yellow one for purplish spots, dab a little bit on first, then put concealer on top. Make sure you don't touch your spots directly with the concealer brush because bacteria may collect on it that way. Get a good cleanser that suits your skin type to clean off the concealer at night time.
As someone who used to have bad acne and acne scars I cannot emphasise another to anyone struggling to; drink approx 2l of water a day, reduce consumption of greasy/sugary/salty food, and exfoliate your skin.
@@goncalosilva9182 this really depends on whereabouts your acne stage is at. If this is still active acne then you don’t wanna be too rough as you’ll end up popping your acne. I would recommend a face wash with exfoliating salts and I would wash this area just before going to bed. If you don’t have active acne and it’s just scars I used to get a toothbrush with soft bristles and scrub the scars (not too hard) and I used to do this every other day. I noticed decent results after around 6 months. Additional FYI avoid being in the sun for too long without sunscreen as this (UV rays) will discolour scars (make them darker) Hope this helps.
@@SquareBoxHead depends on the scar types. The scars where the skin was discoloured from the previous acne outbreaks faded around a year. However the scars where the skin was uneven/dented (referred to as ice pick scars) have taken various time periods to fade- the scars around my temple and jaw were mostly shallow and faded or significantly smoothed back out after around 18 months but the deeper scars around my cheek have taken around around 2 years with some scars still being visible to my right cheek. That being said every 6 months or so I take pictures of the right cheek and can definitely see improvement but that area just seems to be recovering slowly; the main thing is that you keep consistent with your skin routine and diet.
Hey bro you should try to see what food causes you breakouts. It's almost always because of food. It usually is dairy, but it can also be due to gluten or sugar
@@ivomaltine1327 Bro. I hope you're not a doctor, because where have you read this nonsense? Foods high in estrogens are NOT sugar, gluten and dairy. Certain foods can worsen the acne because of their high glicemic index, since they're pro-inflammatory. Hormonal imbalances happen, especially during puberty, and they're not linked to the type of food you're consuming. The reason why sugar impacts on estrogen levels is because, if you eat too much of it, you'll develop more fat aka you'll have more fat cells secreting estrogen (and it's physiological, not pathological). Also, estrogens are necessary for men, since they're essential to obtain a proper muscle mass gain, to modulate the libido, to mantain a correct erectile function and especially for spermatogenesis. One has to be consuming exclusively cabbages, flaxseeds, soy, dried fruit, legumes and garlic to have an estrogen diet induced hormonal imbalance. It's more likely for men to have some type of hormonal imbalance because of the lifestyle, the hygene or the stress (if you don't actually have some diagnosed endocrine disorder or going through puberty, of course).

Screw those haters leaving those nasty comments. Continue doing you. Great tutorial BTW.
Youre beautiful the way you are! I know how it feels to have acne and people insulting it really sucks. But im glad your being the bigger person, it just goes to show how important it is to be confident in yourself. That person is really inconsiderate for saying that and they shouldve thought about your feelings, I hope you stop getting comments like that! Stay strong and keep being yourself :)
Why:
- low effort (only 10 mins of your morning & night)
- high reward (clean, nourished, good looking skin)
- huge variety in products and price ranges; there's always something that suits your skin and budget
- confidence boost
- stop feeling like you need to cover stuff up
Why not:
- ???
can you help me with something, when i wake up i wash my face with a cleanser and apply a moisturizer but then i go out without sunscreen bc i wont apply the two products (moisturizer and sunscreen) ate the same time.
@@fknpires4665try the CerVe moisturizer it has 30 spf already in it and it’s super moisturizing
I actually have severe acne but almost everyone at my school knows me as one of the most popular kid and that’s because I try to not think about because everyone gets acne and it’s not big deal if you don’t worry about it. Just live your life and make the best out of it.
Show me cap for 500
Tip for selecting the right concealer shade: Test multiple shades of concealer in natural light. The workers at a makeup store can "match" you, but in my experience, they don't always find a good match. Always best to do your own tests outside of the store.
HES SO GORG THO HOW COULD HE SAY THATT 😭😭
He’s so beautiful ❤
Acne don’t define you as a bad person. With or without acne you still look gorgeous
But acne sometimes it is a Big problem and a confidence killer for exemple when you talking with Girls and espescially with beautiful girls
@@fakhrimasmoudi4671that’s not what they said

His facial harmony is so so good
Thanks bro, I couldn’t sleep thinking about my breakout, this really helped.
even with acne this man is finer then half of the guys in my city, now imagine if he didn’t have it 😧😧 I would be on my knees
😂
"girls prefer personality" 😂😂😂😂
@@r.a1301 who said that 😧😧 both are equally important you can be hot but be rude and be ugly and be nice
@@r.a1301 lol no its a combination of both yall talk as if u wont reject an ugly girl and then make fun of her with ur friends lol
@@sae311 yeah I'm sure she can sense the guys personality from this video 🤣 must be the personality making her get on her knees. And yeah if I reject someone because I don't find them physically attractive that's fine. At least I admit it, rather than claiming that personality is all that matters like girls do, and then going for the biggest asshole because he's 6 foot tall
Very cute.
So heartwarming
So well said and so true! I can relate, thank you 💛
Sometimes diet plays a big role m8. that’s something we can be more mindful of.
best comment ive ever read
Thanks bro I’ve been struggling with that
**has acne**
"Ewww he has acnee 🤣🤣"
**uses makeup to cover it up**
"Ewww he wears makeup that's so gayy 🤡🤡"
Most relatable comment ever.
Nothing wrong with having acne bro, nothing wrong with wearing concealer bro
Even this guys voice sounds majestic😭😭😭
Some points for anyone who's trying to follow this:
Please wrap the ice cube in a clean cloth or something as rubbing ice cubes on your skin can cause broken capillaries, which will show up as red lines on your face over time.
For covering spots, get a green color corrector for red spots and a yellow one for purplish spots, dab a little bit on first, then put concealer on top. Make sure you don't touch your spots directly with the concealer brush because bacteria may collect on it that way.
Get a good cleanser that suits your skin type to clean off the concealer at night time.
thank you !!!
As someone who used to have bad acne and acne scars I cannot emphasise another to anyone struggling to; drink approx 2l of water a day, reduce consumption of greasy/sugary/salty food, and exfoliate your skin.
how many times did you exfoliate per week? my skin is a bit sensitive so im not sure what to do
@@goncalosilva9182 this really depends on whereabouts your acne stage is at.
Additional FYI avoid being in the sun for too long without sunscreen as this (UV rays) will discolour scars (make them darker)
Hope this helps.
@@Nemesislord001 thanks!
how long did your acne scars take to fade or at least reduced a little
@@SquareBoxHead depends on the scar types.
Acne can be caused any minute imbalance in your body, it can be a hormonal imbalance or may even be genetic
It's mostly because of hormones, actually.
@@fagiolification11 abnormal hormones level that are caused by highly oestrogenic diet, such as sugar/dairy/gluten(and many other factors).....
It's more likely for men to have some type of hormonal imbalance because of the lifestyle, the hygene or the stress (if you don't actually have some diagnosed endocrine disorder or going through puberty, of course).

bro why my camera make me look way uglier , i saw my face on the mirror and i swear i look so good but the moment i opened my camera its just depressing
Look in the mirror 🪞 then.. visualize how much more different you look inverted I use two mirrors facing eachother and I can see how others see me.
@@HAYDENKISHAYINEW-i8q so does that mean that the mirrors are the true reflection instead of camera ?
@@mizan5447 yuh .. So your just as beautiful as you are... When you look in the mirror that's you.. but in reversed .. if you where to take a picture of what you look like in the mirror.. then reverse it.. and then straighten the photo so your face is perfectly aligned with the parallel lines that you see while tilting your photos.. you should be able to get an accurate photo of what you appear to others.

i suffer from acne and it’s not nice when people say things like that and i’ve been quite insecure about it but i’ve used some treatments and has gotten better even tho the treatments have almost no effect when it’s around that time of the month and that’s how i also found out it was hormonal acne and u can’t change that, also i like ur vids keep the work up 👍
This is amazing that your taking care of yourself so well! I've struggled with acne for mnay years now and I've learned that the acne community is full of inspiration and strong people. Just one tip : before applying the makeup use a light moisturiser to hydrate the skin and reduce texture.
I hate it when people bring up acne when referencing beauty. If anything it makes u look naturally beautiful, it shows ur human and u still look amazing even with a little imperfections.
You're a very cool person! You made me feel better about my face, as a young kid I had a lot of insecurities about my acne. But you just made me more confident and accept it. Thank you for helping me, and I like your hairstyle!
