amazing video, I was just about to set up a few new shrimp tanks and will use this method also. The shrimp that you received are very nice and congrats on the berried and babies. I want some of these one day :) I can only dream. The part about eating shrimp, i only get asked that everytime a family member or friend comes over, so i laughed hard at that part. keep up the great work and until next video!, i cannot wait!
Very nice!! I love setting up new tanks!!! I’m doing one with the UGF box in a couple weeks! Looking forward to seeing the results! I also use Ista Shrimp 5.5 how do you like that soil??
Really cool video thank you. Question why do you wait to add plants after the tank cycles and not before? I would think that plants help avoid algae blooms instead of using snails?
Good question. What I noticed that the algae grow on the mosses if I put them too early. Also is more nutrients for green wall to establish without plants
Hello sir, dis you use Amazonia Powder in your shrimp tank to bread? I can only sound Amania Powder and Amazonia ver. 2, what can I use to bread? Also AquaRio Neosoil Shrimp and JBL proscape shrimp soil sells in my country, i want to bread boas, galaxy too

At first quite a lot RIP when I bought them later seem the rest which survive seem ok as they got breed babies. I do see the babies grow up slowly each day but just today happen to see one medium size RIP. I check the rest still active ok and babies too. So maybe just part and parcel once a while one or two shrimp will RIP? One thing I see that shrimp RIP is not say aged one.
It’s not a good sign if you see juvis or babies die. Sometimes you need a good 2-4 months for the tank to be fully seasoned and stable and shrimp can diy until then.

🔴🔴Please answer this. When you go to a new breed, do you keep the same parent animals from the past in one tank and get new babies..? Or buy superior parent animals from two other places outside and get babies from them..? I have heard that selecting parent animals from two different blood groups results in superior offspring. I have an air stone under a container of amazonia but it clouds the entire tank with soil. Is there a big benefit?
Soil inside UGF works better for me
I really gotta ask what is the gorgeous moss that was placed on the left side of the tank in the front? Looks like a perfectly well kept trimmed bush.
Phoenix Moss / Fissidens Fontanus
It's Hookeriaceae Moss
