i think there will be some people who find it too sticky, i personally like it i feel like it locks in way more than other mouses, basically don’t need grip tape at this point
4:20 I'm thinking Razer wanted to close the shape gap between the Superlight and Viper V2 while still having a more specialized feel compared to the more accommodating Superlight shape, allowing them to take away market share from both the Superlight and Viper V2, which would allow them to discontinue the latter without too many complaints from their core fanbase.
My accuracy is worse on this Razer Viper V3 Pro than my custom GPX Superlights, and the encoder/switch is pretty bad. Overall I'm disappointed. The shape is good. 8K polling is simply dumb, I use its 2K polling.
Half of the reviewers are saying the v3 pro feels bigger, half of them are saying it feels smaller. Just from looking at pictures and videos I really don't see how it could be smaller, the v3 looks wider and longer.
i think for it comes down to the hump height and how much it slopes in the front, it feels bigger and more intrusive on gpx2 shape than the viper v3 pro. But the viper being wider is/feel bigger for those people. So basically gpx2 feels taller, while viper is wider
Did razer fix QC issues? I got the first deathadder before after 2 years left click issues occurred I never bought a razer product again, I used Logitech g403 still working after 4 years
i started with logitech g403, mine also still works, i moved to logitech g pro wireless which ended up double clicking. My original razer viper ultimate developed scroll wheel issues before my 2 year mark and i got it warranty replaced for free. My deathadder v3 pro after a year is fine, it does creak if you push hard on side walls

it’s only 1 gram more, but i like the white aesthetic because the wheel and logo pop out more. might not be the analytical response but that’s how i determined it. boardzy said the white texture was better so i guess i got lucky
@@ryanhostudio Don't get me wrong, it's the one I would take if I were in the market for V3 Pro, since I prefer white mice that stand in contrast to my black mousepads, and it's good to know that my likeminded peers will get the better grip texture.

Conceding the video author has more experience with both mice than I do, my initial instinct is that, while the Viper V3 is better for full claw, the more protruding hump of the GPX2 would make the shape more optimal for relaxed claw. That said, shape isn't the only variable to consider.
i main the logitech g pro wireless for 4 years straight with nothing else, except a month stint with the viper ultimate which i didnt like at the time. i have the normal beast x, it looks like the shape is very similar to be honest but beast x max is lighter and magnesium but razer has sticky coating and solid shell. viper v3 pro is available today while beast x max is for pre order so not sure when that will drop. you can check the shape comparison on eloshapes they are pretty close
well the beast x max uses a newer sensor than normal beast x, which is the same as the deathadder v3 pro. Needlessly to say shouldn’t be a noticeable difference
i think it makes more sense to compare it to gpx 2 in terms of all the technological improvements, but if you dont care for any of that than gpx 1 is fine

early adopter price, if you wait a year it will be cheaper. The viper v2 pro is down to 99 now
nothing criminal about that price at all for a top end mouse. If anything, its cheaper than anything else of its caliber.
