GREAT VIDEO! Will you try a frequency shift of 1 and 8 on your biggest silvers. See if you see what we see a BIG change in the Vdi. Looks like the Apex VDI is off too compared to other Garretts...??? Please let me know what you see with the freq shift test...
@calabashdiggeradventures thanks for dropping by again Calabash my friend. I will certainly try those frequency shifts and check results. Both the Apex and Vortex are throwing significantly lover numbers than my 400i by as much as 10 points on some targets. I just learnt to adapt to the different number scales. In the field I dig all signals above 40 so hopefully I'm not missing much at the depth that Garrett achieve.
@@TheMercianMetalDetecting What you showed IMO is that the VDI was never correct on the Apex either....With that being said MULTI frequency should have more accurate VDI numbers than single frequency. The machine receives more data from the two freqs and thus should have more accurate VDI results. AT least that is how it works on all the other manufacturers machines. Thanks for the test again! BTW I you see a massive VDI change on your big Silvers with a freq shift of 8 in multi freq mode.
Sorry about the double intro music. Please skip by.
It's fine we like it 👍
