This is such a sad situation for everyone involved. My thoughts go out to the people of Grindavik and Iceland. Safe travels Gylfi and stay safe. Thanks for the update.

We have just returned from Iceland today. I saw this volcano this morning on route to the airport. This is the most beautiful country with lovely people. I hope you are all safe and am so sorry for those that have lost their homes. Take care xxxx
Good morning from California. I've been keeping up on this whole situation and every day I wondered if this would be the day I wake up to hear such news. Today is that day. I'm very sorry for this worst case scenario. At least the people of Grindavik gave it their best, but it seems with all this new activity with it comes more information and now the town can have more understanding of the real situation underneath and around them. I'm sure this will also benefit the other towns and cities as well. The Grindavik folks are made of strong stuff and will be resilient--even if that means relocating. May the Lord grant wisdom to the city council, mayor, and the country's government to know how to proceed with relocation, housing, finances, etc. Gylfi, thank you for your hard work in recording history and keeping us informed.
Thanks for the updates! Probably the wrong time for a compliment but you have a beautiful accent. You are a strong and kind people; I hope everything goes ok for you in this time.

My love and prayers to the people of Iceland. Thank you for your updates Gylfi and please stay safe
Thank you very much, appreciated
Sending my deepest condolences to those who have been and those who will be affected by this tragedy.
I think we forget that this isn't entertainment. This is real life affecting real people. Just thinking about that man falling into a fissure makes me sick.
Gylfi, I'm so sorry. Hang in there, man. ❤
Sending our best wishes to all that lived at Grindavik, stay strong and safe from Swansea, South Wales, UK!
Prayers and thoughts to your entire Icelandic family.
Thank you for the update! I am so sad for the people of Grindavik. I hope everyone stays safe!

Oh my gosh im so sad for you all. Thank you Gilfi for taking time to update us all on these tragic events. Wishing you well and be safe from Scotland......Alioban ❤
Greetings. Thank you for your update, we send our well wishes and prayers to you and your follow countrymen. Stay safe.
Thank you for the information
I'm so sorry for the people of Grindavik. I hope the extra time allowed everyone to collect their precious belongings and perhaps not all hope for the town is gone. When volcanoes are involved, we humans really are at their mercy. The earthquakes must be very unsettling too. Wishing all the best outcomes for Icelanders 💚💚
Prayers for all. My family's love goes out to Iceland. We got the privilege to live in Keflavik at the US Military base back in 1993 for 2 years. Such a beautiful country and Icelanders are so kind and friendly.
So very sorry for your losses. This is terrible for Grindavik. 🥀
I am so very sorry this is happening to you and your dear people. 😢
Update in a few minutes
This is horrible news! I was praying that the town would be spared. Did everyone get out safely? Hopefully the eruption will not last long!
Thanks for keeping us updated, but more importantly stay safe. Thanks for everything so far!
Hurts to hear the sadness in your voice, I’m so sorry for the town in such danger. We can hope this fissure system dies out soon.. but I know there are other issues to contend with in that area. ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you Gylfi for your great work and feedback. Good luck with all the challenges, care and tesponsibility. You are in our hearts and Prayers. Rosa from Gauteng. SA
Thank you so much!
Hello Gylfi, I'm following from this morning, so sad for the people in Grindavik 😖
Heartfelt prayers go out to all of you in Ice Land, please stay safe and thank you so much for keeping us informed
Ich wünsche den Menschen viel Glück! Es tut mir für jeden leid der jetzt gerade sein lebensmittelpunkt verliert!
Gylfi, over the months, I have been watching your wonderful videos and fell in love with Iceland. Thank you. This is crushing news about the Grendavik community as we think of the Grendavik residents, you, Icelanders, and everyone around the world who holds a special place for Iceland. It is hard to watch and read about what is happening. Indiana, USA sends our thoughts for everyone's safety, strength and peace. I am sorry.
Prayers for the man who was lost to this disaster and all his family and friends.🙏. Prayers, too, for all the people who had to evacuate from the town. 🙏
Any mention of supernatural forces just demonstrates that you're massively off your head.
So very sorry to hear this. I was hoping for the best for the residents and their homes. Thank you for updating us and please stay safe!
Take care and thank you for the updates. Our thoughts are with you and the people of Grindavik.
So sorry for the people of this village. The power of nature can't be stopped. Best wishes from Limerick Eire.
We are busy with daily problems and don't notice that our planet is in the process of destruction. The number of natural disasters is growing every day and if we don't take action urgently, in 5-7 years everyone's life will turn into hell.
Figure out what is really happening to our planet and what we can do to survive: *"Global* *Crisis.* *The* *Responsibility"*
So sorry for your loss.
Stay safe Gylfi
We have just returned from Iceland today. I saw this volcano this morning on route to the airport. This is the most beautiful country with lovely people. I hope you are all safe and am so sorry for those that have lost their homes. Take care xxxx
Thank you Gylfi! I'm so sorry for the people of Grindavik!
Such sad news. I'm so sorry for how bad it has gotten for the townspeople of Grindavik.
Thanks for the updates! Probably the wrong time for a compliment but you have a beautiful accent. You are a strong and kind people; I hope everything goes ok for you in this time.
The machinery operators have serious courage driving that digger along the wall when the larva was against it. Hopefully it will stop before the larva does too much damage
