Oh my god it's the return of the phucker
@@reddodeado301 Hey! Watch Your Mouth!
It almost looks like a teaser for a N64 Luigi's Mansion game that somehow got scrapped and moved to the GameCube
This is canon now
Sounds accurate
With the Nintendo 64 aesthetic i bet it’d be even creepier.
Honestly, I think Luigi’s mansion did start on the N64. Probably very, very, early in development. I don't remember how accurate that is but I could've sworn I remember hearing it somewhere.
It would've been better
I love how when he's not afraid he's got like a low deep voice, but then he gets scared and he sounds like the newer Luigi we all know and love.
Luigi's mansion really tramatized him, because now that's all he sounds like. Lol.
Reverse puberty
Yeah! He almost sounds like Wario normally
Charles has had at least 5 different voice directions for Luigi. 2000s Luigi will always be my favorite but I love how stern his Mario Tennis voice is.
@@jeremyknight9980 That's actually a different voice actor. Luigi had 2 voice actors throughout the n64, and yeah it's kinda strange
This looks like a scrapped official cgi intro for Luigi's Mansion made in 1999. This looks so cool.
so many likes and no comments that's really rare well i am the first comment so there are comments now but it's still rare
I think even 2000 would be an appropriate hypothetical release year.
@@thegreenfireball897 that’s probably right. After all the last time they used this Mario model was in Mario Kart Super Circuit in 2001, same year as Luigi’s Mansion’s release, and heck even Super Smash Bros. Melee, which had Mario and Luigi models similar to the n64 promotional models.
it's the mario of the 64 presentation, the one on the stickers and box of the game ;)
When you said this your actually right it does look like it,but the reason why Nintendo scrapped it was because the N64 wasn’t powerful enough to support such a game like Luigi’s Mansion
There's something I find so appealing about the "plastic" look so many early SGI powered sculpts had, be it Donkey Kong Country or Toy Story.
Early VeggieTales.
I think it's iconic but super scary
That's pretty much why Pixar made their first film about toys. The quality in the animation wasn't quite "there" yet, with everything looking very plastic-y.
@@JorbyTinky Yup
Yep
I appreciate how you made Luigi try to look tough in front of Mario, then the act goes away when he's alone. True to character, great animation!
That would have been an interesting way to characterize Luigi. He acts tough in front of others, but reveals himself to be scared when alone.
This looks like it was actually made by Nintendo, really awesome animation!! :D
true
Why does this comment only have 2 replies there should be more
True at first I thought it was real
Ngl this is the one time I agree with a UA-camr
I think it's better than an official Nintendo animation (thxgoogletranslate)
Honestly, I love this. If you made a series of Mario and Luigi doing random crap, I’d watch it
Same
X2
Yep I'll watch that too
I’d watch it all day nothing else everyday I go over anyone house I always would say let’s watch Mario!!!
I'd be down for that
Bro predicted the mario movie
that's what i was thinking, man.
i was about to say that
I said that 2 years ago and never got a like…
The backstory behind Luigi's mansion.
No seriously, this looks incredible.
And mario 64
@@Redmrgandw not wrong tho
Not quite, in Luigi’s Mansion, he’s following the map to the mansion he won.
@@blackstorm5851 in a contest that he didn't even enter. this could actually make sense as luigi finds a letter on the ground directed towards him, inside contains the map to the mansion and a letter saying he's won it
@@Scoobzz except Mario got to the Mansion first after Luigi told him about the prize he won and then gets trapped by King Boo.
This looks so amazing, like straight up, it's god-tier.
This looks like something that would've been made for a short webseries by Nintendo during the early-mid 2000s before UA-cam was a thing.
@@fluffyboysadie They didn't listen.....
I was thinking the exact same thing!
An animated webseries featuring Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, and Bowser all messing around.
King Boo in the original Luigi’s Mansion always claims the Mario Brothers had been a problem for him in the past, but there was literally no evidence of this being the case from the games which preceded it, so I could almost imagine this being a King Boo origin series made in the late late N64 era to sort of set up Luigi’s Mansion conceptually.
@Swaggy-G 2102 Hey I know you!
Before youtube even existed. UA-cams was created in 2006 really and got famous in 2007.
The fact that mario (looking like 64 mario) is going to the castle to save Peach like in 64 and Luigi is lost in a wood like in Mansion's, giving a reason why luigi is not in 64, this is probably intentionally connected, it's genius. Bravo.
It’s not, you forgot that Luigi it’s looking for Mario which was trapped in a portrait the whole time.
There can’t be two Mario’s in the same timeline.
@rd51gameplays56 this is an n64 version, probably with a different storyline.
@@TheAmazingAnimatorthen Luigi mansion wouldn't have any sense since the only goal is to save Mario
@rd51gameplays56 if the first game was made back then they would've probably taken a different approach for the whole series.
@@TheAmazingAnimator Just because it was going to be a Nintendo 64 DD game doesn't mean it was going to be different
So *that's* why Luigi isn't in SM64!
Honestly, everything about this is just amazing! Everything fits so perfectly!
I can't get over how convincing this is. Like it's literally lost footage from the N64 era of the 90s.
It's not convincing. The movement is too fluid
Ironically; the animation is too good
@@ventriloquistmagician4735 no, it’s pretty convincing to the layman. Looks legit like an old Luigi’s mansion teaser. Especially just stumbling upon it.
@@ventriloquistmagician4735 you get an eye roll from me. Go on and explain your expertise.

@@kaxcommentssomethingREAL The super shroomtastic adventures of Mario and Luigi
This is exactly what I think about this video
@BoredGuy235 Mom why are there short tiny brown mushroom folk with big teeth attacking me?!
Hearing Mario and Luigi actually speak in their in game voices is so satisfying
I miss 90s CGI... it's a truly lost art.
The primitive detailing on the models and occasional simplistic animation just has a great charm to me that modern CGI just doesn't have.
Honestly same. I do hope more horror series or analog horror series use this type of CGI.
90s and 2000s CGI were better mostly.
But what about 80s CGI?
It’s not really a lost art if people are making new art in that exact style though.
@@usmann85 You mean those gears in the Great Mouse Detective? To be honest I think they were phoning it in…
This could be an actual commercial for both Super Mario 64 and Luigi's Mansion.
Imagine if they released a 2 in one disc on the GameCube
Impressive! I like how Luigi zips in a straight position after the shadow moves by. It's good to see something non-horror once in a while
Straight outta SpongeBob with that.
I like the implication that Luigi always has a flashlight with him and that he uses it so much that it's already out of power.
"Impressive" wouldn't even begin to describe how amazed I am with this.
If you'd told me this is something Nintendo made in the late 90s I wouldn't even do a double take. It's beyond good. This is god tier.
You did an amazing job!
I would kill for an animated Mario series like this.
This is amazing.
There you go man it would be amazing to see a new Mario series but animated like this now!🤩🤩
Oh yeah If they ever make a new Mario series hopefully will see it on Cartoon Network and or Nickelodeon right after the Mario movie right?🤩🤩🤟
Well, pay a lot of money to the one who did this, if you're willing to kill, pay too, right?
Imagine the upcoming Mario movie was animated like that.
Same!
There's a alternative universe where we had a 3D Mario show instead of that weird Donkey Kong Country one
I prefer to be in this universe where we can keep our beloved Kong
K rool had the best songs lmao
@@DONKEYKONG260 personally I'd say the pirate song with the mirrors went hard as hell. so does big bog monster.
There's another where we get both when Luigi's mansion dropped
It would've been even weirder.
Interesting how Mario and Luigi both got their own video game adventure by separated from each other through the pipes. One is where Mario got here in Super Mario 64 and the other is where Luigi went to the mansion.

I heard this was your first animation? Looks phenomenal. I absolutely adore this art style & 90's VHS vibe. I can't wait for you to do more.
PS: Loved covering your ROM hack stuff in the past. Keep up the brilliant work!

My lord this looks absolutely very well made! It's like I was watching a Mario CGI 1990s show or even a commercial that was promoting Super Mario 64 and possibly Luigi's Mansion. Anyways, great video so far mate, and as always, keep up with the amazing work
One detail I enjoy is your use of Luigi's deeper voice clips from N64 Mario Tennis and Golf during the first half of the animation, it makes Luigi seem "tougher" and more confident.
Then once he's in in the woods, we hear his voice that we've been accustomed to hearing since the GC days. Now he's speaking in his "true" voice after being separated from Mario and clearly out of his element
BRO PREDICTED THE MARIO MOVIE
This looks like an official ad for Luigi’s mansion that Nintendo would have made. Along with such a smooth animation style, nice job!
This looks so offical and vintage, you captured the feel of the old N64 promotional content perfectly.
Your ability to seamlessly replicate Nintendo's 𝗘 𝗫 𝗔 𝗖 𝗧
style from the 90's is beyond wowie zowie! Very well written with a simple premise that provides a cute (admittedly noncanon of course) explanation as to why luigi wasn't in 64. I also love the SpongeBob music n' sound cues those were a great touch
this looks so cool, like how Nintendo could have promoted Luigi's Mansion, can't wait for part 2
I thought this was gonna turn into some creepypasta thing but this was actually really cool, well done
Why Hello, good ol' Steam Lord! It's nice to be seeing you here.
It’s just good old silent hill psychological horror.
Your the guy that made the treehouse of horror collabs
I was honestly expecting this to turn into some horrific nightmare-scape once it cut to Luigi exited the pipe. This was a pleasant surprise! ^w^
I swear right around 2:00 actual thunder stuck near me and I almost thought it was from the video
I love the sounds he makes when he’s in the forest. His little “mm” sound he makes when he’s scared is just so darn cool and I don’t know why 😆
I thought this was a lost TV ad from the 90's.
Any modern animation that puts in the effort to replicate THAT feeling deserves some MAD respect.
This is amazing!! Nice touch keeping Luigi's voice clips low-pitched and primarily from the games of the era, it's funny that even though these characters have been around so long the way they're portrayed has changed subtly over the years and you captured that perfectly
Without context this looks like a proof of concept for an early CGI Super Mario Bros animated series.
0:19 "Eh? Luigi not afraid."
"Hah! Cool. Too cool."
This is exactly how I would imagine a late 90s 3D Mario show would look like. The character animation is smooth and the movement is good, and those models look so authentic
this is stunningly gorgeous, love the expressive poses and faces luigi has~
literally the plot to the mario movie
I adore the N64 era renders. This was so well done, all of it.
luigi's face when he heard the pipe go down is just something else bro. 1:09
I love this so much! The whole thing felt like a cartoon show from the time! The VHS effects were stellar! The voices and animations were great, the interactions between the bros were probably the best part, and the environments were beautiful, looking like early renders!
Also, the coins having their usual "I" symbol on one side, and a star on the other like in SM64 was a really nice touch!
The moon to owl eyes reveal was so gorgeous I had to replay it like 5 times. This is immaculate, well done.
Bro had a time machine
This is super cool, It feels like a trailer actually made by Nintendo to promote Luigi's mansion if it was on the N64.
It feels just like an actual E3 trailer. Nicely done!
This is how my head canon as to why we don’t see Luigi in super Mario 64
There is something so beautiful and genuine about 1:16.
masterpiece
ua-cam.com/video/9bSGlMd1Y7Q/v-deo.html < Here's a Mario 64 Beta Masterpiece.
So this is where Luigi was while Mario 64 happened
Perfectly captures the aesthetics of the era. Amazing work.
I like how you gave Luigi a deep voice like he used to have before Melee, and then it returns to how we know and love.
I want a much longer version. Need more.
I would pay to see an animated series like that
Ohhhhh my. I recognise that sound at the end. That was from the Luigi’s mansion beta. That was from the ending when you ran out of time. That thing haunted me back when I first saw it.
It did come from the Spaceworld trailer, however the idea that it came from an alternate ending is purely a myth.
I can recognize every other voice clip from various games except 0:38 “hurry up already” anyone know?
Mario golf 64
64 models + CRT filters = perfection
I must have replayed the first 35 seconds 10 times by now. Very convincing animation, it's the kind of thing I just want to consume, the coin flip, the voices "I gotcha" "boy oh boy", the poses, even the music and SE all just 'fit'.
Excellent.
I'd pay to see an entire animated Mario series with this Jimmy Neutron-esque style
That’s Mario’s design in the 90s
Basically "The Super Mario Bros. Movie"(2023) lmao.
00:15 "im the weiner!"
00:20 "Luigi nut"
phenomenal, it took me until the end to realize this was fanmade, loved the style, loved the early CG renders on the brothers and the sfx, loved everything about how authentic it looks!!
This is some of the best animation of the specific era you’re trying to replicate that I have seen. Genuinely. Like that perfect N64 charm - specifically the box renders and magazine renders and stuff. I think there were a few ads in this style as well. Shockingly accurate!
I love this already. 0:27
At 1:23 was that a Spongebob Sound? :))))))
Nope, it was a stock sound
Ok bro, you didn't have to make EVERYTHING perfect, but like damn, I really love how you made Mario and Luigi interact at the start
Poor Luigi. This is like the Rock Bottom episode of SpongeBob. This is beyond amazing! That King Boo scene is probably my favorite thing about this.
This is adorable! It’s simple and very old-styled, but it has this beautiful charm to it! Super nostalgic
This was absolutely wonderful. It hit my GameCube/N64 nostalgia bone just right, and it's cool that you even made Luigi's voice match the era, too!
Words cannot describe how much I absolutely love this it’s so perfect
1:55 though
1:59 R.I.P Luigi
Oh wow, this almost felt like a cartoon for a new Mario Show in the early 2000’s. That’s really nice
Looks great. 10/10, looks like legit Nintendo animated this in the 90's, but instead *you* did this. Pog.
I like how this isn't all spooky, it's actually pretty charming. New sub!
So that's what happened to luigi in sm64
The rendering on this makes me irresistible to just smiling about it, amazing work!
There is so much Toy Story vibes in this with the animations.
BROOO mario movie and that's pretty good
You captured the N64 look of Mario & Luigi Perfectly!
It looks amazing!
This is how I imagine a CG Mario TV series would look like in the late 90s! Absolutely incredible work!
I was really expecting some kind of analog horror twist here. I guess that lack of such a thing could be considered a twist in its own right; this is excellent!
Please keep on making these types of videos with Mario and Luigi. These are a treasure
The Luigi Survival Horror game
It was incredible !
My favorite scene was the moon "morphing" into the eyes of the owl. This is the kind of creative idea that aren't taken from a game that makes it looks like a legit animation !
Man I could've seen this being used as a commercial for the 64 version of Luigi's Mansion. This is some great stuff!
Literally the plot of the movie! I love this!
You'd have to be deathly afraid of the dark to keep a full-sized flashlight in your back pocket just in case.
That's Luigi alright
I was literally just playing Chrono Trigger, a RPG about time travel, and then i saw this which felt like i went back in time to an era where Nintendo made short cartoons for VHS. What an amazing animation !
Probably the best cartoon on VHS that I ever seen
Maybe the reason that Luigi is not in SM64 cause he is on his own adventure which is Luigis Mansion
I know everybody is saying this is a cutscene for Luigis mansion, but do any of you realize that 0:50 is the start scene for Super Mario 64 when mario first comes out of the pipe infront of peach's castle?
EVERY COPY OF LUIGI'S MANSION IS PERSONALIZED
love this dude this is my 7th time watching it & i can't get enough of the effort put into this entire project, i sure hope this isn't a one time thing, i would pay to see more of mario 64 shorts from you
btw i love the love model you used, 64 luigi is just so charming idky im so drawn to his 64 design
I like how one side of the coin is the classic line [or minus sign] and the other is a plus sign.
It's not a plus, it's a star.
This kinda reminds me of the animation Nintendo did for Luigi’s Mansion back in 2000. It was for a SpaceWorld convention and it was running on GameCube hardware.
