The engines in the r53/r50 aren’t that bad they’re just limited due to their simple design. Having the power of v tec and a k20 or k24 blows my mind. Couldn’t imagine the feeling of that while driving

Sadly I settled for an R56 because I couldn't stand the supercharger whine (each to his own), but this combo of the smaller, prettier car and VTEC is perfect. Personally I think more than 300 horses spoils it... Pipes a bit drony tho?
Its the ram horn style. Everyone uses the sidewinder but I like this fitment better. It’s harder to make the exhaust have a 3 inch downpipe but I made it work by doing a two piece design.

How did you get the oil pan to clear the subframe on the 240? Just subframe spacers and the hood clearance? Also are you worried about oil starvation during hard turning? I know allot of the rwd swap pans have huge baffling and a deeper sump to compensate so I was just curious.
Im using original oil pan but i threw in an oil baffle in there by Blox. I just spaced the subframe a bit and cut the hood. Your correct. Rwd oil pans are expensive.

Little harder than I prefer but not too bad. Slave is the honda cylinder. Master is the oem mini. Stage 4 competition clutch. Stage 1 was the beat buy would not hold the power after the turbo setup. If i were to put in another clutch I would probably use stage 3.

Just purchased an r56 Noticed your mounts look different than the typical rpt ones that’s seem to be so popular . I’ve heard of using hasport mounts for an EF. What did you guys use ?
Correct. Under the passenger seat where the factory unit is located. The nav tool is a piggy back system. It allows you to add inputs. I also have an input for reverse camera or a gaming console aka video input. The audio is carried through an aux if needed.

K-Mini (not the damn coffee maker) should be a thing! K-Miata’s are becoming common, but the Mazda BP engine was never an unreliable engine like that crap that comes in the BMW Mini. K series conversions should become a common engine replacement for mini enthusiasts 🤷🏾♂️

Cooper hubs are 32mm splines. Just like honda 4 lugs.

Technically its a pnd. Auto rsx ecu. It doesnt matter after its converted. Look for 02-04 ecu and harness its the easiest to make work

No kit. I made my own mounts utilizing 07-11 civic si mounts. I did this swap in 2018.

Bought them on ebay shipped to nj np. 16x8 30 offset. They fit fine and even clear my jcw gen 1 calipers.
