Really cool, thanks for posting. I'm sure this will help a lot of people out. I wrapped my R50 in Vivvid gloss combat green, but it was really difficult (I had to attempt the hood like five times!). Didn't realize you could wrap the plastic trim pieces; looks really good.
Thanks a lot! Vvivid isn’t a very good material.. it’s cheap but it’s so hard to work with. Definitely would recommend spending a little more to anyone trying to install themselves. Worth it for sure
Looks awesome great work, my mini has the exact same dent on the hood around headlight 🤷🏻♂️ bought it that way just enough to say dang that’s the only real body damage minor but I see it
Great car! Mine is getting wraped in a few weeks. I also want the trim pieces colormatched. Just wondering if yours are still on? Did you had any issues with the vinyl not sticking to the trim? Did you prep the trim in a special way? Lot of questions...but i would really apreciate your input!
I prepped them just like the rest of the car. Isopropyl alcohol is your best bet. I also used 3m tape primer on the back sides and edges of each piece and wrapped the vinyl around the backs quite a bit. I’m not sure if the primer is why they’ve held on or not, but that’s what I did and it’s all still good👍🏼 I’ve only had very minimal pealing on the bottom of the side skirts
Great job at that point I would’ve just water sanded everything down and painted it that color. Old wheels looked better more aggressive stance then those konigs
Sadly I can’t paint right now because I don’t have a booth to spray.. the wrap costed probably less than half of just the material it would’ve taken to do a paint job too. And the fitment isn’t finished yet for the wheels. They’re just way nicer than the old ones
We ordered a 49ft roll and it was plenty. You could probably get away with about 40 I would say. We didn’t wrap the roof tho so that would play a big part
I love San Antonio! We’re just north of Dallas. No worries, I figured I’d ask. I will hit you up the next time my fiancé and I come out that way and maybe we can all go for a cruise.

Youve done such a good job! I've always been wanting to wrap my r53😝 any tips or things you recommend for me when wrapping mine?
