Can't imagine it myself. If I would have had stabilize mode and return to home on my first rc glider I might not have crashed it. But then again I was only 10. Full send into the sand dunes into pieces. Then I went nitro after that. It would be decades later before these FCs came out!
Maytek always gets 5stars!! Love to see they shrunk it down! I have the 405wing and f722se in a few LR planes. Super simple to do, everything labeled perfectly, just do your first flight in manual mode and test the functions at a safe altitude. Thanks Justin for showing us this great piece of kit!! Might have to start a new build now!!
i have been building quads for years and i think Im ready to go further than a quad can take me. I just bought this FC and an AR wing. I have never flown a fixed wing so Im just gonna send it and hope for the best. My LOS skills suck
Looks great..i like it just ordered a 405 stack too along with this one For a plane with inav.😁 was going to get the hglrc but this has two camera options . im sold .👍👍👍
Hello Justin, can you please create a tutorial how to use this f411-wse on dji fpv system? I confused about changing uart resources on matek board. much thanks
So I ended up buying a matek F411 wse hoping that I could use it with iNav, crossfire and dji system. Problem is someone told me that iNav OSD is still not supported by dji. Is this true and did I just buy the wrong equipment ☹️
Im trying got the rxsr going good no rssi yet tomarrow gps and compass then servos ese soldering then fitment to the zohd dart 250g do you think the older telemetry radios will work on this got a few sets of thoes lying around their ic2 i understand that they can support parallel connections but im getting ahead of my self still trying to keep it lite and dont really want to use my phone or laptop for telemetry Anyway thanks for the great vids and info
im trying to build a micro wing...that will use way points ..for say a distance of 5k max.. trying to go as light and less power consumption as possible. ..will this do or is there better stuff ?. cheers.
With the latest version of iNav yep absolutely but the issue I think here is the board does not have enough UARTs to support all of this. I needed GPS, Crossfire and DJI Digital all need full RX/TX ports, this board only has 2.yes we have soft serial as an option but my understanding is that all this devices i mention need TX and RX softserial in this board can only be used to create extra TX pins so I don’t think it’s that useable for me. I hope I’m wrong and someone correct me as I really want to use one of these boards
see zohd have a Kopilot Lite Autopilot System Flight Controller With GPS Module Return Home Stabilization Gyro For FPV RC Airplanes. as well zohd black ops . hope to see a review.
I have ordered my first FPV wing and this FC was suggested to me. Great review and information! Thanks!👍
Boy have times changed from when I use to fly 2-4 stroke RC planes as a kid, would have never thought we'd have this kind of technology!

Dude thank you so much for this video, I just ordered this exact fc and compass. This helps a lot!
You’re welcome!!
Hi Justin well I did it, I put the F411-WSE in my AR Wing, right now I have a xm+ but I have crossfire coming later. Thanks for the information
Awesome video man
Thanks for the great breakdown and review.

Now I have to decide which plane to put this in. Wish I had more than one of these. :)
Make the asw28 a full long range thermal bird!! That’s what I’m thinking!
Oh yeah. This might fit in there
Just watching this in 2022, have this going in a little gobblin finally. Hope to to that cool autolaunch.

Gonna use this with expresslrs 🔥
Great Review!!
👍😀👍
can it do ardupilot

Imagine dji on one analog on the other
can you get both gps and Digital airspeed sensor on this little guy? looks like it has only one SCL and one SDA

Can you put this on quad
Does this flight controller have stabilization ?
So, where the "VCC" (GPS) must go?
Can do Arduplane?

can you tune it in the field? if it has osd tune like betaflight then i want one

Another great video but I have a dumb/simple question. What size pins do I need or does it matter?
…hi…standard servo 2.54 mm distance pins…not stupid question…
im trying to build a micro wing...that will use way points ..for say a distance of 5k max..
trying to go as light and less power consumption as possible.
..will this do or is there better stuff ?.
cheers.
That sounds very interesting what is your current setup?
Do we know if this will display osd for the dji fpv gear? I notice when buying this last night it sais mad it also supports Betaflight now.

Do I need a PDB?

W@@W, Teenie-Wienie... LOL Thanks
…i got two…installed and ready to fly…to make small planes fly large…
First!
