Thank you. I just picked up one of these scopes, went to the range and realized I forgot my manual at home (two hours away) simple google search saved my day.
Thanks for the video, just purchased a new T6Xi and was scratching my head wondering how I was supposed to zero this with .4 mils of elevation down even with the set screws unscrewed lol.
Are these instructions also applicable to the M7xi I wonder? Mine has 2 holes in the knurled portion of the knob but only one seems to have a screw in it; the other looks like it has a rubber plug.
I am facing the problem of up side I fired the bullet on target, bullet hit the target 25 cm up from point of aim.please tell me how i do corrections on scope
I was gifted this optic. Having issues with setting Zero on the turret and not having the turret catch once I’m in ghe 15-26 mil range after I set my zero stop.
How do you restore a Steiner scope to factory defaults? I have a Steiner M8Xi 1-8 scope. And I’d like to center the elevation and windage so I can start from scratch on my zero. I already zeroed the scope and set my zero stop. But I’d like to re-center its reticle and start again on another gun. But I don’t know where to start.
@Kenny W How do you like the scope so far (assuming you still have it of course)? Just curious as I’m looking into potentially acquiring one for new rifle. Thanks!
i got mine and i couldn't turn all the way to 26 it was stopping before.I took the cap off the top, now i can get the full adjustment range. I just cant get the zero stop to work it locks at where i set it. I need some help any insight would be great
Had a similar issue. After installing and tightening the elevation turret it went up to 25 (instead of 27). Here is what I did. I brought the elevation turret to 0 then loosened turret screws and moved the turret down (opposite direction of the "UP" arrow on the turret) in the amount of the missing range (ex. 2 mrads) then I have tightened screws. After that I had the full range on either side.
I have an issue with mine. I zeroed it, all the way up at 17,6. Loosened the screws and turned it back to 0. But now I can only turn it up to about 10. Is this just because the mechanizm in the scope is this way or am i doing something wrong? It’s the same thing with the side/wind adjustment. Anyone know anything about this?

Great and simple explanation, thank you.
Thanks for the help. You are the only video out there.

Thank you for this video
Thx ✌️
So your correct zero will be at 3mills not Zero? What if you want your ZERO (say 100 yds) to read ZERO?

Thanks. The manual explains how to do this with a different type of turret.
Great video
So, you need to bring the Allen Key with you when you are zeroing this scope at the range?
Nice
You have saved my day with this video. The manual is not very accurate BTW. Thank you!
What if you lose one of the set screws
This is the scope I’m buying as soon as I can find a better price

Sounds like you set it the opposite way. Turn down loosen turn up tighten turn down
