I think that's part of the point tho, val has so much power over angel dust that it is just as absurd for angel dust to think that he can just break free from valentinos control without help as it is to think that a normal sinner can just walk in and kill an overlord, that's my take on it, and yes, i am aware that i am responding to a 5 months old comment, but i just wanted to leave my two cents on it
Val's left a mark on Angel. Angel hates him but also loves him. Even though Val has hurt him, Angel was given protection and fame from Angel. If it wasn't for Val, Angel would most likely be dead by now. Not to mention the other Vees are there as well. If he were to shoot Val, there was a high chance Velvette and\or Vox would do something, or even Val himself in those few seconds he was alive.
I think maybe, because Valentino gave him an excistents after all. Its possible that Valentino got him off the street. I hoped that Angel could have done it.
It seems that valentino has so much leverage mentally over angel dust that angel dust simply feels powerless agenst him, even when he has the advantage, valentino has angel dust under his control, just like a poppet on a string, angel dust would never stand a chance without help, this may even be a realistic potrael of domestic abuse (also, please let me know how to actually spell potrael)
