My crossover hybrid compact SUV can only toll under 2000lb and I am looking for amenities such as indoor shower and compact toilet but the layout and the fact that you can stand in it. It can be added. I will probably add microwave and an AC. Do more conversion so I can have a pop up indoor shower and portable toilet for late nights when I don't want to leave my camper and need rest. I think it's doable with that light of weight their are many potentials. Would like screen windows and blinds too it would be nice to have secure airflow without cranking the window open for bugs to get in. This camper has many potential so I can bring emergency gear for fixing tires or other task. With 600 to 700lb extra of weight to play with that's great for customization. Like the fact it now has solar options and trailer brakes for safety. Better ground clearance for off loading too. I wish more RV can be built light for compact vehicle to toll without sacrificing standing space.
I have a 2017 Ford Escape with turbo boost and I would not be able to to tow the larger camper. I can only tow 2000 lbs max and since you should never tie more than 80% of your tow max that leaves me out. I absolutely love the 1st camper.
I wouldn't worry about the 80% "rule". What you want to be sure of is that the trailer has brakes, you have a brake controller, and that you don't exceed tongue weight and payload numbers of your vehicle and towing equipment. Check out Prolite’s website…they may have something that will work for you without any mods required. They have a huge lineup of lightweight trailers!

An extremely cheap toilet paper Idea to keep in restroom. Use a Foldgers coffee plastic recycled coffee container . Extremely durable. Has a lid.
