I cant even imagine how good a mezco DOOM would come out with mezco plastic armor and cloth soft goods. They'd have to do a God king, white variant too, mind blown.
Great review. I think that the Legends head looks small in the Mezco one but the other way around looks better. I think that they missed the paint in the insignia in his helmet. Also if they included just the loose helmet would be great with the unmasked head.
Fabricio Vilas Boas the little devil horn things on his helmet insignia are sometimes left the same red color as the rest of the helmet in some comic art
God damn. I was honestly thinking about passing on this guy and just getting the family matters 3 pack. But this review just blew me away. He looks and functions amazing. The style, the accessories and a wired cape all look fantastic!!! Now I'm even more curious to see the white suit version!!! Killer review man!

I am a HUGE Mezco supporter, but my Magneto had a QC issue. There is a gouge in the shoulder armor on mine. Really bummed about that. And can we all agree that the peg in the stand needs to be engineered better so it's not so hard to pop out so the flight stand can be placed in it? I scratched my base trying to pop that peg out. As someone who is OCD (especially about premium figures) this bummed me out.

I know I'm about to get hit with other pre-orders soon, so I duno if I should pre-order/ Pile of Loot this on BBTS or wait and see if I can catch a sale. @@braxtonpass5052 i mean it looks fine but the wire is breaking through or some shit. its been a while since i posted this so ill have to look at it again, but the 2 negatives are the potential of the wire breaking and sticking through and also the wire getting bent around a bunch to where its tough to get it straight and back to how it first looks. needs to be a safer wire instead of a slim piece of metal

The obvious magnets in the effects are a bit of a let down and differ from the promo pictures. If you're gonna go light on accessories at least do them well. The figure looks great though. Could use a helmet to hold whilst sporting the un-helmeted head.
Really hope this villain angle leads Mezco into doing a Mystique or Sabertooth figure. X-Men characters so far have been shafted. 5 Wolverine/Logan variants and not enough love for the rest. Cyclops was average and I've never really been a Magneto fan particularly because of the gaudy red and purple costume but the figure does it justice regardless of my opinion of the character. Nightcrawler and Toad would be interesting but a Sabertooth to go alongside our Logans right now would be a dream come true, I think they could do wonders with such an important and intimidating character.
the purple design down his leg kills it for me. kinda tired of the "liberties" mezco takes with classic characters. a classic magneto would've been great... but that small modification absolutely makes it a pass for me, personally.
