I think the figure came out great but has some issues.....

Good to know about the shoulder. I'm expecting this figure this week. I really dug that two-parter from the X Men cartoon where Bishop was fighting Cable over who's future was more important while Apocalypse was manipulating everyone.

I just got this figure today and it looks so dope in hand.
I didn’t have any QC issue with the arms but I think I may have an issue with the torso ab crunch. It’s almost like the upper torso is on backwards because it bends REAL far backwards but has almost zero ab crunch going forward. I’m getting nothing remotely close to the ab crunch you show here. I got it from BBTS so I may try to return for another.

Okay, I just picked up mine yesterday, and it dope, love it. And I like it better than Marvel Legends.... no problem with the arms, perfect articulation. I love this bad boy!
Just wish he was a little bigger, but I will use this guy with my Vhs X-Men, and I can't wait to review him on my channel.

Insane how the arm is even engineered, compared to other Mezco’s that peg is insanely small.
Mezco teeth are looking much better and agree. Bishop to me will never be bald or my ideal bishop

Thanks! I’m with you man, I most cherry pick Mezco too. They still make amazing figures but I don’t really do much with the mezcos I have currently so I try to be more selective.
Good figure, really happy about the box size. I love the ML head more for sure, the eyes on it are done more realistic.
Oh yeah the box size is great. I am not a fan of those huge boxes they usually use.
I love this guy. I think he's my favorite of the year so far... he's a little more fun to move around than the Filix Joker.

The Mezco gods have blessed me because I don’t have any QC issues at all. Don’t really care about the accurate height too much so I’m not counting that as an issue for me.
Good looks on the scarf option. The way they had it on the promo pics def was a turn off. Waiting on mine from BBTS. After seeing reviews of Bishop now I want a Mezco Forge. Keep doing wat u doing bro!

Shoulder definitely broke on me when I got it in yesterday. Luckily I have a replacement otw but how exactly did you heat the figure up with the soft goods on. Did you use a blow dryer ?

Yeah they killed it!
Bishop is 2m tall (6,6) while Gambit is 1,85m tall (6,1).
This mean a difference in height between the two 1:12 Mezco figure of almost 1,5cm (1,3 to be precise. This mean a 16,7cm for Bishop figure and 15,4cm for Gambit figure from the same house/series)

I love how one can notice you liked him but you do see some things where they could have improved him, like him not being as tall as you expected. The shoulder thing isn't cool, I mean, you could fix it but not everyone could be that good at it. The head swaps were fun to watch!

Ive had the same shoulder issues as well but mine went away as i started to pose it. It hast broken yet and i dont do the heat tricks cuz im still too much of a baby to do it. But my figure has been ok so far. I was bummed that he didnt have a butterfly joint.

Dang, the details are on point, and I actually love the new box style! Bishop is still a POS, though for all that stuff with baby hope. That cable series was wild for sure. And I'm surprised that Legends head doesn't look half bad. Appreciate you putting this together. Much love!

Awesome alternative to paying 50-60 USD for Marvel Legends Bishop, even if the rumor is that we will get a new Bishop from ML this year. :) I will probably get a cape in the more wine red color that the Omar Sy version had.

Hearing about the shoulder QC issue killed my hype for this figure, might cancel my order tbh since issues like this an the constant delays have made me fall out out love of Mezco figures. Was really happy with Constantine and after Leatherface i might be done with them.
Still other than that great looking figure, surprisingly good articulation considering the armour and elbow change and great accessories.

Can you describe how you heated up the shoulder? Heat gun? Hair dryer?
I used a Hair Dryer. A heat gun might get a little hot and melt the plastic.

Dam mine wasn’t tight at all but the right shoulder snapped still. Pulled it out of the shirt looks like the peg was just really skinny. Weird choice for a big arm like that

Maybe it was just bending and I didn’t realize it. I have a new one with the same issue on the left I wanna try heating it up but idk if that will even help the peg is pretty skinny

Ugh. Picked this up yesterday, and had the arm snap off. Couldn't even tell it was stuck due to the the shirt. Tried to do a full rotation, and snap.
4 returns, 4 snaps.
Damn, reallly? Have you tried to heat it before moving it? Shouldn’t have to do tricks to get it to work but yeah it’s an option
@@UnparalleledUniverse I did on the last one, but after it cooled down it was stuck again, and snapped.
There's a 2 hour video of a guy doing a repair and seeing exactly what the issue is. He was repairing one with two stuck arms.
Not sure if I should risk getting a 5th one. Don't want to end up on a ban list from Amazon.
@@UnparalleledUniverse I managed to pull out the arm from the shirt before I return it. The engineering is weird. There are two rotating disks in the shoulder, one disk holds the peg that connects to the body and the other I assume connects to the bicep. The peg that snapped is extremely thin. It's very similar to the wrist peg.

Great review for a figure I have no interest in. The way the armor works at 20:40 is particularly inspiring. Something about his headsculpt and paint is off to me. Also the way his hips bow out throws the design of the figure off. He looks more like a doll than an action figure to me and I love the Mezco aesthetic. I think it’s the proportions. Nonetheless your pics at the end were dope 🔥
Good points for sure. I think most of the mezco super hero stuff have a bit of a doll feel. Yeah, the way they did the armor is awesome.

Bishop looks good but I just don't like the MEZCO style figures. The only figure that I have from them is Commander Rogers. I'll continue to enjoy the brand through your reviews

The new box art is cool, but I hate that it doesn't match previous Mezco X-releases
While Bishop and Cable have about 10-12cm in height difference according to Marvel's bio data (2m for Bishop, 2,10m for Cable). This mean that Cable mezco figure should be 1cm taller than Bishop mezco figure.
The mezco Cable is way to small for sure.
Well, to be 1:12 as Mezco claim, Mezco should have produced the figure you showed in this proportion (according to MarvelDirectory data)

The problem with a very tight arm seems to be a common thing, I saw at least 3 different posts about it on Mezco grous today. Also, it reminds me of Catwoman QC issue with her sometimes even arriving broken in the box. It's a shame there's more and more QC issues with Mezco as the time passes.
Yeah man it definitely sucks but at least if people are aware of it they can try to avoid the joint breaking. I was lucky enough to prevent it because I was given a heads up!
