I'm always checking out the Windermere FB on both wed and fri and always am tempted to put "sold" on the stunning catts but alas I haven't any space left for one more until I decide to sell some from my own collection. I wish the pic quality was higher but what can you do when fast uploads are needed XD The raspberry choc will definitely be a sweet one as someone had told me that my raspberry choc smelt like cherryripe to their noses.
I'm just wondering why that beer fridge hasn't been converted to a cool grower orchidarium. And is it me, or is that Foster's in there? I love, love, love Lou Sneary. I have two of them because I love it so much. It is a really reliable bloomer for me. It does have an annoying tendency to blast the tips of the spikes but I don't care because the flowers are so beautiful and smell divine. Now if my Fuch's Ocean Spray would give me a spike this year, I'd be happy. Very similar to Lou (because it is Lou crossed back to Rhy coelestis) but the flowers are more rounded in appearance.
Haha don’t give me ideas!! Jarred will kill me! Nah not fosters, I’m not sure they even sell it here, nobody drinks it. The Lou Sneary is so healthy.. omg the night fragrance is amazing. I wish mine had a bit stronger colouration in it, but I’m glad to hear it’s a reliable bloomer!
Ahh that’s tough. It was a combo of lack of sleep and being run off my feet the whole time. Why women can’t just stick to having babies in day hours I don’t know 🤨. Jokes of course ;). Yes the den is my fave too!!

That was fun! I loved the Neostylis in flower 😍 ! I have a passion for Neofenetia and Neostylis . I’m trying to find a Neostylis called Bluebird in Australia. It is just stunning! Check it out. I hope you got some sleep...thanks for sharing.
I must admit I thought the colouring would be a bit more prominent. But the night fragrance is soooo lovely!! I like the bluebird variety, it’s what I thought the ‘typical’ Lou Sneary was actually!

Leonard H. Haha a coincidental play on words. I call all the orchids ‘orchies’ at home... so my husband started calling me orchie Dee. I actually didn’t know it was so similar to other languages word for orchids 😂
I ordered my fist Miltonopsis and Bellina today, so excited. I hope I can keep the Miltonopsis alive, heard so many say they are difficult to grow. I'm in the northeastern part of the u.s. and we do have very er cold winters, which I hope will help. Love your haul! 🌺

@@OrchieDee I checked their Facebook page and I saw mentioned where they had to 'set a few basic rules to make it clear' I thought this might be just the normal exclusions, no overseas, no Tasmania, no WA but the wording says 'We only post in Australia to Qld, NSW, ACT and Vic. Doesn't say its Covid related. I had to read it twice to be sure! 😭
David Mcmillan oh no do you have one?! I agree not the prettiest but hoping it would be more attractive in real life. Kind of like Herr Alexander, I never thought it was anything much in pictures and online but it’s pretty spectacular when it blooms with that amazing fragrance too!
