Such an awesome trip. Loved seeing Dale Jr. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your journey. ;)
It was our pleasure! Thanks for meeting us!
Sweet Burb! I love all square bodies but I really like these '89-'91 trucks, they had all the amenities of the then-new GMT400, best looking grille of the square bodies imo, had EFI and all the creature comforts, but still had the classic square body look we all know and love.
I'm not surprised the TBI 350 held up without issue. These 350s in TBI form are some of the longest lasting and most reliable engines EVER made. Several have gotten to 1 million miles which is a huge accomplishment. I've experienced their longevity and reliability up close, my dad has a 1990 C1500 Sierra 5.7 TBI V8 that he purchased brand new in Feb of '90. That truck has over 660k mi on the original engine. It's never even had the valve covers off of it. She's down on power a bit maybe but these weren't powerful when new so no big deal. Doesn't burn a drop of oil and runs great. Great trucks, great engines. Congrats on "Dale Jr"!
Thanks Mike. Much appreciated!
Heck Yeah! Very Nice!
Thanks Jason!
Ali is one of the coolest people to meet in person. I followed the mustang build and met on their first Power Tour with it. Definitely give the channel a follow y'all.
100%
I own a 91 suburban with the barn doors … we love it and will never get rid of it
Very Cool!!! Glad you made it. Without incident.
Thanks. Me too.
My 99 Burb is bagged with Bell tech 4 1/2"drop spindles 6"notch rear axle flip
Rides like a air ride Peterbilt.

Nice! Thats the plan for Dale Jr. do you mind sharing which airbag kit?
More fly and drive videos, I really like these.
Thanks! I wish I could do more! It was a blast!

Enjoyed the trip! I waved at ya’ll when came in to Illinois but you didn’t see me! 😂😂 Congratulations on a successful trip and being the proud owner of a Sub! 👍👍
Thank you!!
Cool 😎
Thanks
I seen this on Facebook market place lol nice
Thanks for not buying it! 😂
Thanks for the video Jason, I enjoyed it and it amkes me want to buy something from a ways away and drive her home and actual am looking at a 70 C10 I'm interested in.
How about a 77 C10?
Nice looking Suburban
Thanks Brian!
Nice truck
Thanks 👍
I've ordered the hellcat stickers for the Pacifica just for you lol
I bet you did!
Can't believe you found a Square body Suburban with almost identical ugly paint as your square body pickup.😯
Dump the TBI for a Qjet or Holley on top of a genuine imitation RPM Airgap. Also get an HEI distributor. These 2 mods will net you about 40 HP. Swap on a set of Vortec heads with the mentioned and enjoy a total of around another 80 HP.
Make it and even 100+ HP by adding a factory style roller cam. You can get nice factory regrinds from the Bay of e for a reasonable price from a company in Texas. Pick the right cam and get all of the above and get better fuel economy to top it off.😎👍
You spelled boosted LS wrong!
@@OldeCarrGuy
Oh you're going to put an LS in it,🥱 wake me up when you start the next project.😴😴😁👍

OCG Roadtrip--The States will never be the same!😆
HAHA! I left my mark!
Dale jr definitely fits it
For sure!
Prefer the crank power rear window. Adds the cool factor even more
Cool no matter what!
@@OldeCarrGuy I am onboard
Cleetus is coming to Connecticut or Massachusetts this year. Dale Jr is awesome
Really! Cleetus and Cars in New England? Sweet!
@@OldeCarrGuy yup I know it on the website. Went to the Bristol 1000 last year and it was epic
i have square body suburban, ac is cold while driving warm at idle, any ideas what is the issue, it's annoying
It’s usually an indicator of no cooling fan pulling air through the radiator/condenser. When driving the air moving through the condenser cools the refrigerant but no air flow at idle, it can’t cool down. I’d say check your cooling fans.
Regarding this Suburban you brought up a good point.
I thought you mentioned you weren't sure if you were going to be driving on "20 yr old tires"... My question; if the tires were 20 yrs old and not cracking and not looking totally dried out.... would you consider them safe? Obviously safe only until the point you are driving and they disintegrate while driving and the vehicle rolls over!! I have a 82- K20 4x4 the tires 21 yrs old and they look great and I hardly drive it.. cooper discovery tires, thanks.
Ps since you are on a time schedule is there a "clock" and is it working ?
Great question about the tires. Generally speaking, if the tires appear to be in good condition with no weather cracking and such, casual driving around town is one thing. However, at highway speeds, your tires tend to heat up. With heat comes expansion and contraction when cooled down. On old tires this can cause failure. I was prepared to buy 4 new tires to get me home safely.
As far as the clock, it digital so it was/is working.
So our suburban is regular ride height this lowered rig looks nice… what’s the setup ? On the suspension
As far as I can tell, it’s drop springs in front and shackling rear. Nothing g drastic or expensive!
Are u taking it to moncton this year
Quite possible but I may bring Dale and a for sale sign!
If you enter missouri, then why not put ozark Mountain daredevils "if you wanna get to heaven"
Wish I’d have thought of that!
Somebody ruined a perfectly good suburban by lowering it. 😢
It’s about to get ruined again!
It looks awesome lowered and those wheels/tires fit perfectly.
Sure is low in the back...must have been dropped...which is ugly as hell..
It’s actually sitting level with adjustable air shocks in the rear!
