I'm a sucker for a boat. My dad had a 66 Lincoln Continental convertible with suicide doors. He was a machine salesman and machine shop owner. I remember taking my drivers exam in a 73 Lincoln Continental, it's the one I learned to drive in. We took it into empty parking lots and thats where I learned how to park it. He said if I could park it, back it into a spot, I was ready to take my exam. I passed my exam the first time. I own a 2016 Lincoln MKZ, nice car, but nothing like driving the old Lincolns. Brought back some memories on this one Randy!! Thanks! By the way, I'm all for watching a rebuild on this one, the Caddies have a huge following! I think you can bring this one back Randy...go for it!
Don’t give up on the car! I absolutely love it!!! I can’t wait to see more videos on it and thank you for picking the car up at copart and trying to drive it. It’s way more entertaining!!
This would be the ultimate restoration piece Randy. I absolutely love this car. I don’t even know how that tire held air. Love the channel and great new intro!
What an AWESOME car! My dad bought a car like this and it was SO much fun to cruise around southern California with the top down. I drove with my friends from Redondo Beach up to Santa Barbara. We had SUCH a great time! I can't wait to see you do a full restoration on this, Randy! Great pick, Monkey Wrench!!!
Randy, you and Mike are epic as a team. I love seeing you guys collaborate. It's always a joy to watch both of yalls channels. Much love and appreciation, brother.
What a beast of a machine ! I remember the light blue one on terminator & at the end of smokey & the bandit. Burt was driving red convertible. Such a classic 🔥🚘🎬👍. Thanks for another great one guys 🫡
From a distance, the Cadillac looks good, and I like the black exterior and white leather interior. However, the interior is in rough shape, and the exterior could use some work. However, with some work into the car, I'm sure it will look better. Even though you may not have the money or time, changing the door panels and front seats, getting a pair of taillights, and patch up the exterior scratches, will make this Caddy look slick.
I’ve owned 6 of these and they’ve all been pulled out of a garage after years of sitting in some form or fashion. I’ve lived this experience and feel your pain lol. Can’t wait for the next video!
Best car you have ever had on the channel, f’n classic! It is easy to work on. Had a few GM 70s convertibles, I knew the top would work. They are nearly indestructible
There hasn’t been a video that I haven’t enjoyed watching from your channel Randy. This one in particular was very entertaining and enjoyable, especially with Monkey Wrench Mike. That old boat hasn’t been on the road for who knows how long, it just needs some TLC, something that it hasn’t experienced in a long time. This car is worth fighting for and I’m glad to see you aren’t throwing in the towel on it, this car really deserves a second chance.
Love the new intro Randy! Thank you for making these videos everyday.😁 Hopefully you can get the Cadillac in better shape. If not, well at least you tried.
Randy you and Mike are two cool guys that will do anything for each other and it seems like everytime you'll get a caddy it has a bunch of problems wow I think this was a good funny video can't wait for the next one love you guys this made my week thanks
My brother bought one of those from an estate sale many years ago. It was metallic pea green with a white top. He drove the car to Juarez and had the interior redone with red leather. We nicknamed the car "The Watermelon". The ride was cushy, the torque abundant, and the fuel consumption comparable to a small ship.
Randy, I find it odd when you act surprised when something happens that's not too unusual. For someone who used to drive junky cars all the time, just roll with it.
In 1976 my parents bought a brand new Eldorado. White with a 2 tone blue and white interior. Absolutely gorgeous car, the leather was baby butt smooth, and smelled so nice. It drove beautifully, was quicker than you would think. We had it 6 years it was very reliable, and so comfortable to drive and travel in. We drove it form Southern California to Wilmington North Carolina 3 times and never an issue. Its to bad you never knew these cars when NEW. Dont jump to conclusions that things are this or that, you're not familiar with the car and are making some mistakes. You dont press on the CENTER of the steering wheel to blow the horn, you press on the rubber area to blow it. Radio may work, but wont with antenna down. You guys are definitely doing DOUG DEMURO negative saracsm to the max. Good luck with it.
That will be a FUN project car. Do not give up on it. The rewards will be well worth it. Complete restoration project. You will love it when you are done!!!!
a few weeks ago, i came across a beautiful all original 1972 ltd coupe, non- vinyl hardtop, police package. los Angeles car, (im in illinois) blue color, drives like new and original ac even works, only paid 3750, no rust at all and the paint is in great condition. a true survivor
MW Mike makes me laugh every time (love the flailing arms). You two are the new Internet Abbott and Costello, waiting for a CoPart "Who's on First ..." bit soon. Randy just needed a Dan Blocker cowboy hat and Stater Sunglasses and it would have made this really good video great.
Man Randy like you said what a hoopie! But it’s so big maybe you should just run it back though the auction. Always a great video when Mike is with you.
Randy, I LOVE the old Cadillac's I used to own a 1984 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham, and loved it! it was underpowered, but it was such a cushy and relaxing car to drive. a part of me wishes I had never sold that car. should you chose to, I would love to see you restore this Caddy you got!
Love this video and the Cadillac. I think the car has huge potential. The 1976 was the last convertible Cadillac and they are actually worth a good amount of money in good shape.
Our family owned a 1975 Cadillac Eldorado. That was a beautiful car my Mom fell in love with the moment she saw it. I used to drive it when I picked up family members from time to time. This brings me back a lot of years and memories for me! That was a sweet ride. But the mileage was an entirely different subject. Another issue was parking this car. It could be a challenge. LOL
This is an awesome example of an great around the block classic car! Love this video, put me down memorie lane when I helped my nephew get his 1st new to him beater car! Sometimes you have to just give it some elbow grease and some tlc to get them going. To get it home safly-ish 😂🤣
Finished the video and man that was sure an interesting one. Always love when things get interesting with cars like this 😆. Hope you get it sorted and running in the next video I can't wait to see more of this thing. Loving the new videos Randy!👍
Well, you can't expect to start your Pimpin' career with a new ride... Seriously, this was a nice car when it was new. I can imagine what it looked like sitting on the showroom floor.
The turn signal and high light indicators on the fenders are fiber optics from the light itself. Kind of cool tech for the day. I had a ‘73 with over 200k miles that looked like it had maybe 10k on it. You used to be able to find those “rubber” bumper spacers for them in the classified section in Hemmings. There are a lot of NOS parts for them.
Randy with an upgrade I love the auto auction rebuilds intro love the car also that is a beautiful car make sure you hold on to this one now don't get rid of her try to at least keep one or two of them
My best friend’s mother had a Light Blue ‘76 El Dorado. That battle tank was one of the smoothest, quietest car I have ever been in! I remember she was having something checked and the mechanic told her to turn the car on and she said it was on and he didn’t believe her until she reved the engine!! Restore it and sent it to Mecum!
Randy, get a new flasher resistor/relay. With a good battery the old one might even unstick (it's a cheap part, or used to be) itself however I think the headlights not shutting off could be the twilight sentinel. (I enjoyed a '75 Fleetwood in 1984 and this puppy is an Eldo!). Body and frame looks fantastic and this would make great with the proper vinyl wrap!
Awesome car and awesome guys! Love seeing you both together in a video with an old car :) I use to have a Citroën 2cv6 as a daily for years, driving was always an adventure:) my now wife hated it :) now i drive a Toyota and always get everywhere (boring but handy with kids)
That intro is Fire!! Ok, I'm slightly disappointed that you and Mike aren't at least wearing Pimp Hats and Packing Canes LOL!!!!! I'm definitely a sucker for a big girl with a drop top and this car is as old as I am to boot!! LOVE IT! I'm getting huge Denis Leary A$$hole vibes from this car (his video has one in it) I now dub her THE PIMPILAC!
Wow! My second car I bought in 1990 was a 76 Cadillac Eldorado coupe with that 500 V8. It had no problem easily going up Cajon pass at 90 MPG. If I remember right, I got 14 MPG on the highway. Being 'only '15 years old at the time, it was in pretty good shape other than the paint which was garbage. I took a auto body and paint class and painted it white. Sold ir 2 years later and bought an 84 Ramcharger 4x4
Nice car I had one back in the day you think it WILL GET 9 MPG WRONG TRY 3 TO 5 MPG. used it tow my boat and with the AC ON it got 2 MPG but I liked it. Be careful of the rear window the top loves to break them $$$$$ and that trany ig a GM TURBO 400. To improve performance advance the timing change camshaft and add dual exhaust it should add about 60 HP???
You know it's going to be a great video when Monkey Wrench Mike joins Randy.
Randy and Monkey Wrench Mike work so well with each other. Enjoy the antics

Randy and Monkey Wrench Mike together will be the best episodes.
12:11 There's nothing I like more than hearing Randy say, "oh...oh.... wow!" 😂🤣😂
Please bring back this car to some kind of perfection. It can be your go to town weekend car.i love this Cadillac
Don’t give up on the car! I absolutely love it!!! I can’t wait to see more videos on it and thank you for picking the car up at copart and trying to drive it. It’s way more entertaining!!
The best videos you make is when Mike is with you, you guys crack me up every time!!
Can't wait to watch you conquer all the Caddy's problems ! What a challenge man !
This would be the ultimate restoration piece Randy. I absolutely love this car. I don’t even know how that tire held air. Love the channel and great new intro!

We had a new 68eldo in family but by 1977. The electrical gremlins were too much
Try to cruise in the eldo down Redondo beach now!!!! Lol...
@@bryanblack7828 😂🤣😂Nice!
You drove you pizza car. But you won’t drive the Cadillac. I don’t understand.
I almost bought one of these that was setting out side of a nursing home for 2500 and still kick myself for passing it up
Randy, you and Mike are epic as a team. I love seeing you guys collaborate. It's always a joy to watch both of yalls channels. Much love and appreciation, brother.
Randy you and Mike crack me up with your humor Keep up the great videos
Randy didn't choose the pimp life the pimp life chose him! Good to see Monkey Wrench Mike too
What a beast of a machine ! I remember the light blue one on terminator & at the end of smokey & the bandit. Burt was driving red convertible. Such a classic 🔥🚘🎬👍. Thanks for another great one guys 🫡
Love the caddy. Hope she gets restored one day.
Love when MWM joins Randy you know the adventure is about to begin.
I do miss these videos where you just buy and drive, you two are awesome
What's the old saying about Cadillac Eldorado drivers? Oh yeah....."Pimpin' ain't easy" 🤣😅😂👍
I keep my pimp hand strong!
On the bumper vertical fins, are no lights, only a plastic/ vinyl cover the Sun has deteriorated and rotted away.
I’ve owned 6 of these and they’ve all been pulled out of a garage after years of sitting in some form or fashion. I’ve lived this experience and feel your pain lol. Can’t wait for the next video!
9:04 you are going to have so much fun fixing this car!!!!
Best car you have ever had on the channel, f’n classic!
It is easy to work on.
Had a few GM 70s convertibles, I knew the top would work. They are nearly indestructible
What a beautiful classic. No dings. Just some light scratches. So a clearcoat and some interiorwork some engine tune up.
That new intro is 🔥. Definitely leveling up 💪🏻
Perfect for the Power ! Tour Just need some Bull Horns and a couple of ten gallon hats
Man I love those old cadillacs! She's a hoopty boat but it makes for great content! Great purchase!
There hasn’t been a video that I haven’t enjoyed watching from your channel Randy. This one in particular was very entertaining and enjoyable, especially with Monkey Wrench Mike. Best team up ever randy and Mike love you both guys
Took my drivers test in my dads 77 brougham, passed it successfully I might add. And I only stand at 5’3 😆
Beautiful car. Much better than that Spark. The caddy is worthy
This is pure content gold... Don't dump it... rebuild it
Agreed!
Love the new intro Randy! Thank you for making these videos everyday.😁 Hopefully you can get the Cadillac in better shape. If not, well at least you tried.
I do not know where you met Mike but I am very glad that you did. I love it when the two of you make a video.
Reminds me of the movie license to drive both Corey's Feldman and Haim. At the very end the grandpa walks in says where's my caddy? Great '80s movie
Les did it!
A classic line from “Fletch”, “You got to PLAN your stops.” 😁
Fletch Lives actually.
Could anyone complain more about the car. ? I've driven death traps my whole life.. some people get more civilized. Thanks for sharing your feelings.
Now THIS is a car I really want to see done Randy. One of the most beautiful cars in my opinion. Can't wait for more videos with the Cadillac.
Randy you and Mike are two cool guys that will do anything for each other and it seems like everytime you'll get a caddy it has a bunch of problems wow I think this was a good funny video can't wait for the next one love you guys this made my week thanks
Hello Randy, that is the car that deserves you to spend money on it
Let it go viral, ❤you two together. Best video format

We nicknamed the car "The Watermelon". The ride was cushy, the torque abundant, and the fuel consumption comparable to a small ship.
Another road trip with mike , this will be a blast to watch !
I grew up in a 76 eldo coupe. Loved that car. I do remember my dad working on it… a lot!
White Wall Tires are a MUST for these Cadillac Eldorados. Awesome Video, Randy and Mike.
Love the Caddy and great adventure. Thanks for taking us along!

I'm delighted 😊you and Monkey Wrench Mike fixed the wheel noises 🔊, 40:45
Randy,, Mike great video really enjoyed watching you guys
Randy and Mike. The dream team!
That intro 👌
Speedometer cable should fix that mph. It needs some attention but all in all nice ride.

Best part was Dakota boy jumping the curb instead of doing a turn around lol. Shortcut.....
As a 6'6 individual, I appreciate that Era. They made convertibles I can fit in
Big Mikey & Randy in the house !!!⭐️⭐️🪽
Our family owned a 1975 Cadillac Eldorado. That was a beautiful car my Mom fell in love with the moment she saw it. I used to drive it when I picked up family members from time to time. Look how easy it is to work on!! That thing is awesome NICE
Love the description of the brakes, they kind of work.
This is an awesome example of an great around the block classic car! Love this video, put me down memorie lane when I helped my nephew get his 1st new to him beater car! Sometimes you have to just give it some elbow grease and some tlc to get them going. To get it home safly-ish 😂🤣
Love the content, you both are my favorite UA-camrs 😁
I kept a 78' Thunderbird going long after it made good sense. I loved it. My risk versus fun meter has unfortunately been recalibrated.
Finished the video and man that was sure an interesting one. Always love when things get interesting with cars like this 😆. Hope you get it sorted and running in the next video I can't wait to see more of this thing. Loving the new videos Randy!👍
16:04 why mike is blinking since 1 mile ago 🤣

you gotta enjoy this land yacht- nothing like cruising in a caddy convertible! my kind of time travel!
My best friend’s mother had a Light Blue ‘76 El Dorado. That battle tank was one of the smoothest, quietest car I have ever been in! I remember she was having something checked and the mechanic told her to turn the car on and she said it was on and he didn’t believe her until she reved the engine!!

You should put a new Hellcat Drive Train in there. Cool custom car!!!
I work for Copart, we can't let anyone work on vehicles while on our property unless they are insured.
I'm loving the new intro Randy
Bad jenny, it helps charge the batt with the alt. Good luck 🎉🎉
Good luck with the Explorer, great luck so far with the Volvo. This thing not so much. Well anyhow, great content it was an entertaining watch.
Nice team work Randy and Monkey wrench Mike 😎😎👍👍 Nice try getting the car straight
This is the best decision you have made thus far sir. 💪💪
I bought one that had been sitting for 40 years, done the maintenance and she's a beauty. Didn't get it for $4300 though.
Thanks Randy it is been a while since you did a crazy road trip in a new purchased car 😅
Dated a guy back in the day had a Cadillac like that. Nice new intro and outtro.
Nice car I had one back in the day you think it WILL GET 9 MPG WRONG TRY 3 TO 5 MPG. used it tow my boat and with the AC ON it got 2 MPG but I liked it. Good luck with it Randy!
Great video! What a lovely in and outro Randy!
