Pro tip on checking those bearings for the idler and tensioner pulleys. If you spin them and they free wheel and take a long time to spin down, they don’t have any grease left. I noticed when you spun the top idler pulley, it spins smooth and stops spinning immediately. If you catch them soon enough you can pack them with grease, but many times it’s better to just replace them. I really need to get one of those plastic guns.
I watched the first 15 minutes of the video and you already covered 2 of the annoying issues that my 1992 Flareside has. The wobbly mirrors have been bugging me since the day I bought it, and i did not know that they need to be tightened from under the door panel. Thanks!
I just bought one of these in the windshield wipers were barely oozing water out so I added some water to the tank and now they work just fine so it was just low on fluid
The 95' to 97' F-Series is the best looking Ford pickup since the 1970 to 72'... I have always wanted a 97' F-100 shorty! Both my 1971 and 1972 are long beds like my 2000 F-250 SD.
I do like all your videos you put out. That level of detail that you put in the cleaning your vehicle by chance and would you happen to come to Texas sometime? Never hurts to ask
Plastic welding is not going to work long. There is a TSB for the dash tab breaking. Ford has a repair kit that includes a metal bracket you rivet to the dash and has a new tab built into it.
Check the tone gear in the rear diff but only if replacing the rear diff VSS doesn’t correct it. Pre 1995 vehicles with the E40D transmission will only have that rear diff sensor as a speed sensor. The other thing is it could indicate that your instrument cluster or PSOM is failing. Start with the VSS sensor first then the tone gear in the rear diff it’s a magnetic ring
@@OldeCarrGuy holy shoot bwe had a brand new 95 f250 bought v8 air etc for under 6k added cap bedliner rear window slider full hub caps and stuff under 7k. These trucks are insane prices today and let the manufacturer's. Eat them on the lot for a 55k base price!!!!!!!!

They are a great tool to have with todays plastic cars.
I had that noise, it was the tension pulley.

I also have the same loose dash issue. I bought a replacement metal bracket to fix it that I still haven't installed.
Sounds like you’ve got some work to do!

I need help on my speedo it bounces around I have a 1995 one with 90k miles
It may have a stripped speedo gear in the transmission.
@@OldeCarrGuy how would you be able to change that? Is it a big problem?
Change Speed Sensor on Rearend, top of Pumpkin.

You don't want to scratch the paint with a nylon brush but your not worried about scratching the head lights 🤨
Personally I blame squirrel.s

Nice truck a little

Truck dies when I turn on my headlights
Have your alternator tested!
looks good and you did alot but what of the passenger step and the check engine light?
The owner opted not to do anything with the step at this point and the engine light was on due to no catalytic converters.
