    I've always been a huge supporter of Toyota over the years, not for style or tech, but reliability. But this, however, making an actual tribute to the 86' sprinter earns my full respect. Keep it up, guys!

      I hate to break it to you... If you want Toyota "reliability", those years are gone... That was back in the 90s/early 2000s... Same goes with Honda. The new cars that toyota is putting out are majority are aided by computers... They're mediocre at best.. Where as the Camry from the 90's are still on the road and going strong with 300k+ on the odometer.

    • @Mika-ph6ku
      @Mika-ph6ku 8 місяців тому

      @@cpcxgsrhow do you know the modern cars won't be as reliable when they literally have not been around for 30 years like a 90s car. You would only be able to make that determination after these newer ones are 30 years old. I've still seen plenty of 2010s toyotas and Hondas holding up strong in spite of their increased tech when compared to early 2000s and 90s, so it's pretty unreasonable to write off this decade's toyotas simply due to having fancy tech in them. Was the tech in 90s Lexus cars not fancy and modern during their time? Those things are still holding up well...

Hell I know a lot of people that want the 3 cylinder in the 86 that comes out of the Yaris GR. Its a massive failure to build a product people actually want but maybe they are doing this intentionally due to licensing agreements/stop competition within their own lineup such as the GR line (yaris, corolla)

    I wish that you could have added retro style gauges for the Trueno edition. And maybe an option to change the rev beep to the speed reminder chime of the original 86.
    seems like a missed opportunity. 😢

    Yeah but the original 86 is a Corolla soon they should of made the name on the GR Corolla not the Gr86 and the vinyl hood looks really so wrong Toyota should of made a carbonfiber hood instead add on a vinyl because any current GR86 own can make that vinyl and this is an embarrassing design as Trueno ,this should been the levin 86 instead.I feel like a rush job and I used alot of Initial D I could’ve designed the Trueno edition were better. because the E210 Corolla sedans nobody actually knows about this . It’s also called a levin in Asia

    This is a great car, but Toyota needs to stop the collabs and go back to making their own sports engines. We all know they have the capability, so there is no real need to have flat sideways boxing engines or leaky German engines in their cars. As a long-term Toyota fan, I have avoided buying the 86 or the new Supra because it does not have a Toyota heart. Just my 2 cents.
