I would love to buy one but they're too hard to find without a huge second sticker. I'll just have to settle for the digital version in GT7 for now. 😂 Maybe next year!
A lot f people have gotten them at MSRP. I put my name when they first were announced at my local dealership, 20 minutes away. Is a smaller dealership so I was a little worried they wouldn’t receive one. They got a core in the spring and the circuit that I put me name in August. They told me from the beginning they sale all their Toyotas at MSRP and got my GR the same, plus extended warranty..
Still waiting on my Circuit Edition im hoping to get it soon. It is literally horrible how you just dont know if your dealer will actually get one sent to them.
Waited 16 months for my CCE. Put my name when they were first announced. Dealership is not a big one or located in a populated town. Was 1st on the list and received it in August. Icecap fam ..
Dude long as you have a pulse and good credit any automaker will finance you. They don’t care about income when buying brand new. If they did we wouldn’t sell half the cars we do 😂
I want this car more than anything! Too bad the circuit edition can’t be found and none of them can be found for MSRP. I also don’t have the money for one but that’s a separate problem.
Don’t get one people are trading b them in. I work at a Toyota dealership. We’re buying them back like crazy. I’ve already had seven brought in and they’re not exactly popular where I live. People are ditching these cars because Toyota is monitoring their speed and are using this as an excuse to get out of warranty claims Toyota sketchy avoid at all cost get yourself a golf r or a GTI. They’re much better and Volkswagen won’t punish you for going fast.
Just imagine making a "sports" car. Then, selling a track package with that car. Also, different packages have track names or such. Then, deny warranty coverage because the drive "drove the car to hard." Oh, they drove the car over 80mph. That's why the "sports" car burnt to the ground. The driver hit 88mph. DMC didn't burst into flames in the 80s.
just fyi, if you do decide to buy one of these and the engine blows or catches on fire for any reason at all, toyota will not honor their warranty. they're going to throw every excuse at you to not help you out.
Toyota, why did the Subaru STI have to die? Were you not confident that the GR Corolla could exist in the market with a near peer? Was your only thought of success was through the death of the segment's AWD king/icon? 😢
My question is does it include the front and rear limited slip differentials in the premium because it doesn’t state it does in the premium in this video, nor the website?
Hi, Francisco. The front and rear Torsen limited-slip differentials are standard on the Premium and Circuit Edition. It is also available as part of the Performance Package for the Core. You can find more info in our online brochure here: www.toyota.com/content/dam/toyota/brochures/pdf/2024/gr-corolla_ebrochure.pdf
I got myself a brand new 2024 GR Corolla from my first job. Being an automotive engineer myself this car is just fantastic. It has given me some fame as well 😂.
Why not make the pricing a little bit more competitive with the WRX? It's 6k more base for base, and that's with the GR Corolla without the lsd. With lsd it would be almost 8k more. Also, it seems like an universal experience that Toyota dealerships suck. Don't get me wrong, the GR Corolla seems like a very cool car, just not for $40,000+.
It's not competing with the WRX homie, but Subaru is making that price gap smaller with the 24. This is what the STI would of competed with. The GR Corolla stacks up with the Elantra N, Civic Type-R and Golf R. In fact if you can get it for msrp, it's right in line with what a 2021 STI cost.
That's a you problem. There's no way any dealer is making people wait 2 years LMAO. I decided today I want one, and these dealers are bending over backwards, with one potentially next month.
Toyota started marketing all GR cars in Thailand, including this Corolla. Import tax will make U.S. dealers markup seem like pennies. That said, I love hot hatchbacks, and this is the best one.
Toyota, I will become a toyota marketing specialist and start pushing everybody I know to buy a tacoma AND a camry if you just GIVE me one of these PLEASE Hell, I don't even need it for free, just give it to me for half off, and I'll still be a Toyota yuppie without any other pay
@ToyotaUSA. Is the 2024 better than the 23? I own a GRC 23. In less than 25k miles my 4 tires became uneven. The brakes don’t respond, at first pedal action, during pouring. And my front rotors are warped, with an estimated replacement cost of $2.7K dollars. Too many issues for a new car. BTW, is this car made in China?😂
Hi, Gabriel. When you have a moment please call our Brand Engagement Center at (800) 331-4331 if you wish to further discuss your experience. Our Brand Advocates are available Mon-Fri 8am-8pm, and Sat 9am-7pm EST.

Toyota did you fix the rear differential and other heating issues? The car can’t even last a 20min track section without overheating the rear differential and turning the GR Corolla to a front wheel drive car.
Love my black GR Core more each day, came with performance, winter and tech package, did a review on my channel. Car even rips on Gran Turismo 7 lol, love the throwback to the Celica GT Four on lower rocker panel, well done Toyota❤
Hey Toyota, you really screwed the 2023 Circuit Edition owners by offering forged wheels on the 2024 model. I went out and bought a 2023 Circuit Edition because we were told it's a one year only production. Now if we want to buy the 2024 Circuit Edition wheels it costs like $8,000 to get a set, whereas the 2024 Circuit Edition costs less than $2,000 more than the 2023 model
Yeah that part do suck. I got one and was hoping it would be for 2023 only lol😂. Now regarding the wheel is sucks that you have to pay such a premium, they should give a discount to CE owners from 2023. Personally I don’t care for them, I like the looks of the 2023.
Should've waited. Wouldn't make sense for toyota to do a limited 1 year only run given the demand for this car, tooling costs, etc. Sounds like you got got from marketing. Could always trade it in. What's next, it can't drift like they showed it could?
... on the bright side, there are much better forged wheels in the aftermarket that can be had for less than $8000. Plus, you can get them built to your spec, put tires on them and still have a years worth of tank fillups left over........... 🏁
Thank you Toyota. I may be a broke teenager now, but hopefuly one day I’ll be able to enjoy this beautiful machine. Much love from a Toyota fan.
