I just wanted to say I am very happy about your videos. It help a new comer like me able to see hands on more about my new position at the hospital. I start my classes and training next month. I was giving a book to start my studies and so worried about the test I have to take after I complete my hrs but also so hyped. Thank You for your time in doing this. Ohhh and your too young to know about Inspector Gadget 😆 but I get the concept of it Nice.
The tray is a surgical instrument and should also be decontaminated. Im learning so i dont know if it should be cleaned in the solution like the other instruments
Hi there, am certified and a tech 2 at my hospital. I am thinking I want to travel. Do you have any suggestions for picking a recruiter and company to travel with.
If you are required to wash ALL instruments why use the towel to separate them? I disagree with the towel method, its to cut down time, period...and lets face it some will skip right over brushing them. Hope the surgical tech was correct on all the used ones on top of towel...and if you took the tray and placed instruments right into the enzyme and the instruments had presoak well you just mixed chemicals which is against AAMI standards...I do enjoy your videos even with that being said...
I have my second interview for an internship for Mayo Clinic in a week👀

Your using iodine water 💧 In the 3rd sink to ensure the instruments are clean
The last rinse has deionized water. You’re using to and fro motion when cleaning the instruments. Ultrasonic washer removes all the debris
Love this video. Can you please post answers to the questions you asked in the video? Very curious to know the answers lol
R.O.D.I?

Merry Christmas gorgeous face 😍
Wait.. aren’t you putting the washed instruments back in a “dirty” holder?
U gotta scrub them first
I caught that second time. The holder/tray is a surgical instrument that should also be decontaminated
