The shiny hisuian zoroark reaction was so pure. I’ve never heard someone sound so happy. I got one myself a month back and it is so worth the hunt!
I'm working on getting one for myself but oh my god I just got a shiny west sea gastrodon from outbreaks yesterday and I'm so freaking happy about it

@@EternalRadiant They couldn't survive on cuteness back in Hisui, they had to be primeval. G-Max Pikachu, on the other hand,just looked like a microwaved Peep imo
As others have pointed out the shiny rates in MMOs are also boosted with base odds being 1/315, not the full 1/4096. Still, that alpha Munchlax is such a nice find ✨
Honestly the serious dedication these UA-camrs have is wild to me, and I hope you keep reaching whatever goals you set for yourself. I've only got one shiny in Scarlet, one shiny in violet, and three shiny's in legends arceus. (My most recent was a wurmple, and I tried to evolve it into a cascoon (bc i like the shiny more) but it was a slicoon.) But seriously, keep going above and beyond. You have all of our support.

Scarlet and Violet get insanely repetative very quickly. Legends has less scuffed spawning systems and many better mechanics
I can def agree with the mechanics I love PLA’s mechanics WAYY more
@@EternalRadiant PLA and Sc Vi were in development at the same time. PLA's devs are the same as the Ultra games and they seemed to have a better grasp on the what the game needed to be thus making a more complete projects, combined with the fact it didn't need multiplayer allowed them more time for its base mechanics. Sc Vi did a new art style that doesn't work as well with the Switch on its scale (it likes low tex, low poly, and good lighting a-la BotW and TotK). Also it feels like Sc Vi were chasing trends rather than making them. Because PLA is fundamentally a side game (no matter what GF says) it allowed more freedom in a much more complete and unique game and not a mashup between the BotW and Classic Pokemon gameplay.
Also I've been hunted for Shalpha Snorlax for like a month and finally just traded for it.
@@VariaBug i did a shalpha map quest type thing and was stuck on highlands for 3 weeks 💀and then the next day after i found 1 i found 2 more for map quest 💀
@@VariaBugyall, we don't need to dunk on one to raise the other. Both have good and not so good points. What we need to take from this is that the two different teams have perfected enough mechanics to where, if combined, they could grant us something on par, if not better than PLA mechanics wise, as well as have all the immersion and exploration, as well as emotion that SCVI achieved. I really do hope we get to see some of their combined efforts in the DLCs, and I'm looking forward to two years from here. Imagine the game they could make with the entire efforts of the programming teams and design teams now, post-gen 9
The better models, textures, plot, characters, writing, rendering, ambiance, sound design... we're set up for the two best pokémon games of all times to be released back to back

This is incredible! First off, the shiny alphas are incredible, and you got a female Shiny alpha Pikachu, which is so cute! And that Hisuian alpha Zoroark is my favorite Hisuian form; well done!
Also SV is better overall than PLA, as I think PLA is good with one save file versus replaying a lot. SV has a lot more replay ability.
But this is catching ashes pokemon. Pikachu is the most important. There he needs to catch a male. (Jk lol)

Hi! I would like to make a statement here, to prevent misinformation:
The odds of finding a shiny with *no modifications* is in fact 1 in 4096. However, both Mass Outbreaks and Massive Mass Outbreaks give HEAVY amounts of extra shiny rolls, thus meaning no shiny found as part of an outbreak--as in no mon that spawns from the spawner itself, such as the munchlax--can be full odds in Legends Arceus.
I do not know the odds of an alpha spawning in the first wave of a massive mass outbreak, but they seem to be more common than normal spawns typically in my experience? This I am less confident on, admittedly, so take that with a grain of salt!
Congrats on the shinies, and I hope you find many more in the future!
P.S.: this is not an attempt at "devaluing" anything, before anyone makes that comment. We all should value our time, and method hunting is a wonderful way to get shinies without needing to spend EVEN MORE time searching, typically, while also enabling a more "focused" hunt to more easily get your target. I myself use massive mass outbreaks to get alpha shinies quite often.

@@EternalRadiant Of course! I respect the hunt always, it's a wonderful thing, and shiny alphas are just so cool to have. And it's good to see you're like "oh hey, more research pre-scripting then", because you can actually find some REALLY COOL AND USEFUL stuff! For instance, prior to doing research I didn't know you could multibattle those mons that aggro in groups by stunning them!
One other thing: you can actually get EVEN MORE permutations out of a two-wave MMO outbreak! The site you were using has an "advanced" mode that covers you moving far enough away/fast traveling away and then returning while less than 4 mons are left in the first wave, as the game advances the RNG with spawned mons that aren't really there. It's really interesting, and can get permutations even out of nonhostile mons (or even get you over FIVE HUNDRED permutations with a big enough wave 1!), but I am not sure if you've used that before, nor am I sure if you'd WANT to, given the sheer time investment it can lead to. While I can personally vouch for it working, it takes awhile, so be sure to weigh it against what else you could be doing at the time, or if you'd rather just use the faster permutations in general.

kinda funny when you look at the pikachus at 32:26 that the non-shinies are both male and the shinies are female. Guess that means females are more likely to shiny for the Pikachu line in Arceus

I think it’s hilarious how aggressive they made pikachu in this game. The mascot of the series is one of the meanest wild Pokémon you can encounter 😅

I'm at 152 of 224 non-legendary shinies in this game, and this video might finally push me to learn the permutation method for shalphas
I definitely recommend it! While the permutation method doesn’t guaranteed a shiny alpha, the odds are really REALLY good the more permutations you go through!
Man, seeing the odds WITH the shiny charm can be very difficult to find. Congrats with the other shinies you caught!

Edit: u can’t get a second horde from a regular outbreak but you can get alphas in the original horde

28 unique alphas of the same species will probably take a while, you might start in Hisui and end your journey in Sinnoh 🤣

I love this game, my first shina alpha was a snover which was the 2nd one to spawn after catching one in the outbreak
A shiny zubat spawned while I was flying around, and when I landed I kept hearing -boss- alpha music. But there was no alpha in sight....
And that's the day I learned that alpha zubats don't have red eyes, on account of not having any eyes.
I would pick Arceus no heartbeat required for that choice.

According to my bio on Scarlet, i've missed like 9 shinies or something. Forgot. But the count was a legit nightmare to just look at.
That one feature is enough to doom Scarlet and Violet to me forever. And Nemona. Always nemona. But i just got a particular beef against her because i want Personal Space.
I really hate that there’s no noise indicator in SV, that one change would make such a massive difference
A bit late but the bio updates for shinies after you evolve them not just catching or battling them
3:56 but it’s in massive mass outbreak tho so it’s not full odds so its not 1/409600 it’s a lot easier to get but still insane because in MMO base shiny odds without charm is like 1/315.
Edit: so if it were a 1% for the shiny to be alpha, it would be a 1/31500 chance which is still very rare
while I was watching this I got 3 shiny eevees in scarlet from the same outbreak, im keeping one as an eevee (named Cream) one is gonna be a sylveon which i do not yet have a name for, and the last one is a vaporeon i named leanporeon

I'm doing a shiny only run in Pokémon Legends Arceus, and I randomly found a shiny alpha Raichu. I wasn't even hunting for it.

If you got it from an outbreak/massive mass outbreak it wasn't 409600, but that's still incredible. Check your research level on it as well, as that impacts the odds. For me, I have research 10 on every pokemon, the shiny charm, and I hunt a ton of massive mass outbreaks, so I got about 120 shinies at this point (but still no wyrdeer or kleavor)

Choose between PLA and SV is a tough choice. I think I'd prefer SV with the dlc but PLA if the dlc of SV isn't out yet
I had a great time playing though pla it is made better than sv but sv has more content and is going to get even more with the dlc so idk

We share the same opinion as well. I love and prefer PLA’s mechanics and gameplay, but there’s no room for updates/DLC. SV at least has weekly raid updates and DLC content so there’s more to do

Dude, outbreaks give a MUCH, much higher chance so the shalpha munchlax isn't 1/409600, I'd say around 1/25,050

Btw when the Giga Ball is thrown, or any ball for that matter in PLA, If it bounces up slightly its a crit catch.
You don't have to go into the Items pocket to use your Pokéballs in a battle. You hit X to switch to items and scroll to whichever ball you want, then hit ZR.
I had the Munchlax situation happen to me, but it was a Drifblim in the Icelands

Question on how you did the permutations on pikachu. It’s an agressive Pokémon but for some reason gives me a hard time getting it into multi battles. They kinda disappear when I try to

Hi just to let you know if you didn’t if the pokeball only bounces one time, it’s a guaranteed catch, if it bounces two times it’s most likely to be caught or not be caught, and if it does it three times it could come out the pokeball oftenly but can get lucky to get caught with 3 bounces.

alright time to explain odds... the odds with an an MMO on PLA is approx 1/250, so 1/250 times 1/100 is only 1/25k, yes the Munchlax is rare, but not anywhere near as rare as you make it up to be
