I know you said you liked the mount on your ski pole a bit better, but that follow-view using your Backpack Mount starting @ the 4:15 mark and beyond is absolutely fantastic! With the Insta360 X3 being waterproof as well, its a killer camera, lower resolution aside. Great/Fun to watch lower res video vs boring high-resolution vid...The lower-res fun video will win every time!

Question, I prefer using the camera w/ quick capture 'on'. when I hit QC to begin recording. The camera doesn't automatically default to the 4k 9:16 horizontal setting that I desire. I have a 'quick menu' RIDING saved and checked off. so it will record but appears to default to the 360 5k setting and won't automatically reorient to the horizontal either. do you know how to remedy this?
Edit: In other words I want to use like a GoPro Session (I use my Hero 8 like this as well) Saves battery.

Werner, did you have a chance to look over (and possibly review) the new Lens Options for the GoPro 11 and GoPro 11 Mini in the new GoPro Quik App Update? Not QUITE the Insta360 X3, but looking online, it appears one can use the full sensor in Hyperview and then change the lens to a different position and going to a different lens in post! If so, does the resolution suffer?
Best action cam ever love it. While making my video testing it. I got lost couple of times with the creativity that this camera and its app offers 😮
As always, nice video 👍🏻 I have both cams and I really like the new X3 :) Only with the mic I‘m not so happy and also that you don’t get a 4k video at least - but image quality is a little bit better as the X2 quality ✌🏻I can recommend it 👍🏻
Could you tell what mount you were using at the awesome angle at 8:47? It feels like a backpack mount, but I see no straps🤔 Or it is right-hand pole mount?

For those hesitating between an X3 and an X2: I have the X2 and the small circular display is a bit of a pain in the ass. It has already driven me mad a couple times. Given its small size, you also cannot realistically use it with any somewhat thick glove. Granted, you don't need to use often but still... Just for that, I'm already thinking about getting the X3. But overall the X2/3 is an incredibly good camera for activities like paragliding.
The X3 on the back should also create incredible videos while mountainbiking.

I have a GoPro 7 black. I am trying to shoot pics in RAW mode. The camera shows it's in RAW but when I try to open files I don't see a raw file, only jpeg. and another file "GPR" What am I missing?

The GPR file is the RAW file - you can open and edit it with adobe Lightroom

Hi Peter, I normally use the basic 120cm version
The two things that are keeping me away are the poor video quality and the massive file sizes. Other than that, this would be a perfect solution for my ski shots!

I’m sure you have to keep recommending the GoPro since they probably sponsor your channel… but let’s be serious the GoPro has an outdated processor and still continues to overheat. If you want to get serious about a better quality you would recommend theDJI. Superior to the GoPro in every aspect.
Insta360 is great. But... Do you have the same problem? It stops filming by itself often. Sometimes the footage is OK but sometimes, video has just few seconds.
