I don't like the term boys quarters , men's quarters is more appropriate . I know this is a term left over from the colonizers . Keep showing wonderful properties. By the way , are all of these properties negotiable & what is the rental cost for the separate men's quarters ?

Nice houses for the money, but razor wire on the walls, bars on the windows and interior security gates at the doors . Sounds like you there’s a serious crime problem. I’ll have to sleep with one eye open😳

Tony how about adult quarters to make a linguistic difference... just saying...u escaped the racist environment and narrative in USA and you have the opportunity to speak differently and show the way...not a case of being of when in Rome do as the Romans do.... It dimishes your reasons for leaving USA ....just saying

@@rodneynichole4785 I agree with Tony on that. When Ghanaians are using the term they probably don't overthink it; it's just the name they use. For equivalence, it might be like someone coming to the US and calling the toilet (as we say in the UK 🇬🇧) the poo(p) room, because that's what it's used for. It might be correct, but it'd be weird and every time you said it, it would disrupt the flow of conversation as people aren't used to it.
Language is a communication tool: ie, between at least two people. You can't just unilaterally decide to change elements of it! Even less so when it's not your language you're seeking to change.
Finally, always remember that things (especially racial things) we're sensitive about in the west, probably pass them by in African countries because there, they're not black, they're people. They have the surety of the fact that all around them, people who look like them are running EVERYTHING successfully. They don't have to worry their heads about such sensitivities as they prove to themselves 24/7/365 that they aren't 'LESS THAN'.
      My view, anyway. 🤷🏾‍♀️
