  • Hi asgardians!
We are in this episode getting a last glimpse of our beloved temperated complex vivarium! This awesome tank still has a lot to tell us. In the video we actually try to hunt down an unseen predator that had since before left traces of its presence in the vivarium. Such as a huge decapitaded moth.
Using time lapses at multiple places around the clock we finally unmask this tanks apex predator!
Don't forget to subscribe as we now are moving to thailand to eventually build a tropical vivarium as such!

    Have a fANTastic day,

That was a house spider. They are specifically adapted to hunting other house spiders and cannot survive well in the wild.

Just found you today man and I have already watched all of your videos. Loving the content, but the one bit of advice I would give is maybe don't recap older events for so long at the start. For those of us that have seen all the videos it can be a bit long winded. Overall though the videos are great and well edited and I look forward to seeing this new vivarium in Thailand. Maybe you could do an episode based series and do one a week. I'd definitely look forward to seeing new episodes of that as the tank goes from empty to full of life, over the course of months.

    I have one question....
I recently started keeping ants... Actually i was trying to start a empty terrarium without any ants but somehow a small colony was living in one of the plants and now it is thriving. I started caring for them but I noticed this one strange thing ....
The ants rarely accept sugar or honey
I don't know the species but is m sure it is native ie from India.... As we have the same ants in our garden. They are small about 1-2 cm in length and maroonish in colour and not among any species I have seen online.
If we offer them any food they do not take it like your ants do.... They do not take any small pieces is the underground chambers but start building a nest over the food
Can you tell if this behaviour is normal?
