(His moms birthday, dogs name, etc) after PID, assigned medic begins assessment and treatment before moving. During transport. Hostage stays in the middle of the formation. Small detail like that help really sell it to the veteran/leo/gearhead community
Also, legal flash bangs and smokes are available online for fairly cheap and they ship to your home. Wouldve made a good door crash scene in part one and a good shock and awe scene here. Arm and equip the guys so to show clear roles. Squad lead, AR, AG, Point, DM, and Combat medic minimum. Just my two cents, yall. I just want to see this series reach its great potential! Your sniper shooting from the crouched position in the wide open makes for a good cover photo, but doesnt make sense to someone that knows how this movement should look.

i just randomly found this when i tried looking for more SCP short films after watching Overlord and i gotta say, this is definitely on par with it. Absolutely awesome!
On par with the Overlord? Dude, what are you smoking? First and foremost, this has no storyline, nothing happens, just a couple of guys walking through the woods talking nonsense. The sound is bad, mixing all over the place, camerawork is nonexistent, editing is bad and acting is wooden. They don't move or talk like soldiers and equipment is nowhere near the Overlord's. Also, no effects at all, no SCPs. Evan's work on all his films, especially on Overlord is miles above which is clearly seen in the view counter. I mean, I applaud the effort but to compare it with something like the Overlord, just no, there is no comparison.
I would love to see you guys do a movie where you come into conflict with the Chaos Insurgency. Maybe trying to retrieve an SCP from the Insurgency only to realize that the Insurgency was trying to secure a team member who (unbeknownst to all) happens to be an SCP?

My feedback: - Something that i struggled a lot with my own shorts is sound. It's hard. You're probably on a less than zero budget, but I'd say if you can pay a pro to just level and mix your dialogue, music and SFX it will make a massive difference. - start with a bang. Becasue this is youtube, I've learnt that you need to start with a very exciting piece to keep the viewer watching - 80% of a UA-cam video is its thumbnail. You can change that constantly throughout the video's life. I updated all my thumbnails and got 4x the views! Great job! Looking forward to more

Maybe in the future? Get more tougher anomolies to go against. I started watching SCP live actions shorts for 2 years now. I would love to see one done on SCP 002 called The Living Room and SCP 3000 of a giant eel. Those would be cool to see. But it would take time to created the deal by computer and all that.

Loved the bit where the soldier gives chase,doesnt shoot the guy even though hes directly behind him,then avoids a machine gun aimed right at him,lowers his gun n manages to pull his psitol n kill the dude THEN reload a gun he nevr fired.THEN the bit that even tho they all know theres a toxin released they take their masks off.comedy movie at its best.this isnt a budget thing,its a common sense thing
I was a bit harsh to be fair in my tone (id had a couple). The effort n imagination was def there for this movie,but u know how ppl can be at times. Dont stop doing what ur doing folks

Good vid. Only problem i had with the immersion was. If the team knew they were aproaching a bio hazard why wait until you come into contact to then equip mask your were deployed with?
Because they are incredibly uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. One thing we wanted to move away from with our SCP films was this idea that MTFs always wear gas mask/respirators. If there is the potential hazard of bio contamination then you will have the kit with you, but try not to wear it until you have to. This way your more comfortable and you don’t wear out or accidentally break the kit during times it is not needed
Taking out a sentry post. Per SOP when encountering cultists they needed to be eliminated and then Check for Infection. The fact the “bad guys” in the film are sarkic cultists was not very well explained sadly 😞
Elements of the on site security teams will use them along with some officers having the option while doing PSD. Out side of these roles it’s not as practical as a rifle.
They where told to remove the contingency by Control. Transporting the hostage back with them would have slowed them down to much and they couldn’t leave him to wander and potentially infect other people. It’s faster and cleaner in the Foundation’s eyes to simply “remove” the contingency.

It would lend to the immersion, but it’s a rather intricate process to capture the audio straight from the comms

They are far enough away from the bodies. The masks a only worn when they need to interact with potential infected items.
