Very well done. Great atmosphere and good SCP vibes. But if a field agent goes missing after investigating a missing research team, the answer to the question "Do we need to send in a mobile task force" is always "Yes!" And not "Send in another field agent to die.

@@AndreaJoshuaAsnicar Yeah, sure, but this would be reckless and dumb. I guess you didn't have the budget for an actual MTF, but I see this trend in SCP writing that paints the Foundation as needlessly cruel, reckless and dumb. I don't know if this is the case here, it just got my attention.
The Foundation would've sent the task force after the field agent stopped communicating and ran head first toward the anomaly.
Maby one day the budget for a whole mtf... MTF ΚΣ
@HalasterBlackmantle I hate to be the one to break this to you, but the foundation is fictional, nobody owns the IP, and authors can portray them however they wish

That would not match their style!
Correct me if I am wrong but the way I remember the heiarchy works is that Agents are all around us (ala the Division), they are your neighbors your family, etc. They are there to keep an eye out for anomolus things. When they detect anomalous things they call it up to command, then command send out an MTF unit. Once MTF has secured the site of hostile threats (if possible), then Containment Teams move in, and transport or build around the anomaly, while Command sets up interviews, distrubutes Amnestics, etc. That all said, this was FANTASTIC, and its content like this that really keeps the SCP franchise going.
Yeah, that's definitely one way how it works. I like to think that not all of the time you need the full force of an MTF. Especially because MTFs are very visible to the world, so they get called in when danger is high and guns are the only answer left.
I really love the investigation aspect of the SCP Foundation. What did cause the anomaly? Why is it there? How do we stop it? Sometimes the answer is not always "shoot it".

Yeah, that's typically how it goes. But if an agent does manage to safely contain & secure an anomaly, they get rewarded.

This is too cut and dry though, theres no way 0% of agents investigating anomalies try to contain it themselves, especially if through their observations it seems like they could reasonably do it without much danger.
I'm immune to SCP-2812 because I already got The Caretaker's "Everywhere At The End Of Time - Stages 1-6 (Complete)" playing in my head on repeat already.

@@AndreaJoshuaAsnicar maybe but it still feel like the person is incompetent when it's not even mentioned as an option.
Especially in SCP stories it's important that the characters feel competent in my opinion unless their incompetence is part of the story.
Otherwise it's like seeing a librarian with an open flame, even if the books are fireproof, if they don't know that or you don't know that they know it can really take you out of the story when the most important and obvious safety measure isn't observed by a professional.
In this case my assumption legit was that they sent someone to die specifically as part of the containement procedure and that it was going to be the plot twist or something haha
@@Laezar1 The intent isn't to make the Foundation seem incompetent, it's to illustrate the difficulties of handling skips, especially memetic ones. SCP-2812 shouldn't _exist,_ it's an anomaly in our world, one that actively impedes your perception of it.
It looks 'stupid' because the characters are literally having their knowledge stolen from them by the thing they're trying to study, they're out of their depth without knowing it, it's sort of lovecraftian.
I love being proud of absolute strangers. Keep at it honcho, it's getting dialed in. You're in the pocket, follow your instincts and never sacrifice your integrity as a storyteller. Proud of you.

I like this a lot. While I do agree with the other comments that it seems a bit odd that the foundation would send in another agent as opposed to sending in a drone, or scrambling an mtf to do a sweep of the place, I think overall the story works well. The SFX and set pieces can be a bit odd at times (for example, the gramophone not actually playing a record, or the jank field hospital), but I think that it's well put together. Nice work.

Nice although it seems atypical of the SCP foundation to send in single agents as a follow-up to a whole team going missing.
This is so good but many to improve like how the agent said scp 2812,she should said “how dangerous is this 2812” or something like that to give more intense vibe
So had they known about the scp from the start? If so and they knew how dangerous it was then the taskforce should have been deployed.
They would probably just claimed the lost agent to be dead considering no rescue operations were successful

This was awesome! Would have made more sense if the field agent had asked for the MTF and it was going to take time as opposed to handwaving it. Not sending an MTF when the second agent went missing was really stretching it IMO.

@@AndreaJoshuaAsnicar I couldn't remember that particular SCP but thought that's how it worked. The Stairs one's definitely my favourite..the infinite ones that has faces pop up in front of the "volunteers" etc. This one's good though for sure. Especially how you portrayed it.

People want to criticize the lack of earplugs, I'm wondering if the fumble on the gun draw was on the character or the actress. The Foundation seems wasteful of their agents: you send out a single agent,lose her,so you send out another single agent.

It's also supposed to be impossible to shut off, with even drones shutting down at the door outside as one of the secondary effects is severe deterioration of any modern objects and materials.

The production is great, but I can't say I'm a fan of the plot/writing. It's hard to explain why but it just feels... inconsistent... with the general scp lore. I don't like the ramifications this presents for if the foundation regularly operated this carelessly and uncoordinatedly.
This was our first attempt at SCP lore so we fumbled a bit! But thanks for watching!
