Williams don't allow points in most of their races these days. Russell might be better off going back down to the minor leagues where he's more successful.

Marko is right and it's terrifying for the mercedes camp. They are in shambles and Red Bull has two drivers at top form. Lewis needs to string together a few perfect weekends or #8 is gonna have to wait.

I feel like Red Bull has a much better team mentality. Mercedes feels less together team wise, for example Hamilton blaming his team outright for the bad result a few weeks back, and saying it wasn't his fault, whereas whenever something happens to Verstappen he always says "we"

I agree that speaking negatively is incorrect, and I think I misspoke in my original reply. I meant to say that you have to egg them on to make them play harder, like if they mess up a pass or something you say like "come on! get it together! let's go!" or something like that, not "why did you mess up?" There is no ego in sports. People win as a team and lose as a team.

Honda has fully delivered despite a difficult start: Ron Dennis was right: you don't win championships with customer engines. If only McLaren had been more patient and had more faith in Honda.
But it's understandable why McLaren ditch Honda. The engine was extremely underperforming in performance and reliability. While Redbull has STR/Alpha Tauri for benchmarking test in 1 season

Schumi wasn't done either. This year they've clearly changed regulations to stop mercedes dominance and bring the grid closer together, redbull were meant to gain but no one expected them to be so far ahead, especially mercedes. However, there's still a complete regulation change next season and for all we know alpine might suddenly become the team to beat lol I just hope lewis is able to show the absolute monster he is through his fight against verstappen this season, the guy gets disrespected just for having had the fastest car it's not right.

As always in 2021, an AMAZING race. Lots of action, lots of pressure. Great victory, great fastest lap, etc. Many drivers did an awesome job.
Lap one just beautifully depicted the season you have lando and the forefront runners fighting it out for position a small Gap then the Ferraris, gasly, Alpine, and everyone else. Awesome first lap

@@tijn3331 both actually, Max seems to be at his best this year and has been given a car that matches and seems to exceed the Mercedes release so as long as he keeps racing like this we are going to finally see a new champion.
@@loxo9 If Hamilton was just average he wouldn’t have performed well with McLaren and wouldn’t have won 7 driver’s championships. How come he pretty much outraced and outqualified both Bottas and Rosberg at Mercedes pretty much every time except 2016 when Hamilton was very unlucky. Greatest f1 driver of all time along with Schumacher and Senna.

@oof this year the cars have been more even compared to the previous few years. last year in a worse car, max was still able to split the mercs on occasion. so to see him doing well this year in a more competitive car he is obviously going to win more races than before. we know he was always able to extract everything from the rb16, so it comes to no surprise that he is doing wonders in the rb16b. hamilton has always been in his own league, however last year he had 0 competition. this year he has competition though, and that would be max. lewis has won 3 races and max has won 4. i'd say it's pretty close between them. it comes mostly down to strategy, pit stops, driver error, and a little bit of luck. i personally don't think that it was the car for either tbh. the best drivers deserve the best cars. it's been nice to see a bit of competition between the two this season and I hope that it is a close battle:)

Paul Ricard was so bad, the only interesting thing were the box strategies...today except the first two positions there were a lot of overtakings.

If the Red bull pit crew shouldn't make a mistake at the 1st pitstop and pit Checo WAY earlier in the 2nd pitstop it would've been a podium for Red Bull in their Home Turf. Yeah it's frustrating for me too
