Bro, I've been watching your throwback videos from 7,6,5,4 years ago. You building those doors' n rear deck's speaker panels are amazing. The lessons are priceless and the transformation is unbelievable. To viewers and subscribers if you just started watching Sprayway, go back to his earlier videos. You will not be disappointed.🔥🔥🔥
I like your style SPRAYWAY you never HALF ASS any of your work and you go the extra mile like it's your own ride and even though it may take longer you know the job was done wright the first time ...That's my kind of people do it wright or don't do it kick ass my friend
Another old school way we did working at junk yards was use a front hood release cable if you didn't have piano wire. (Snip cable up front and it pulled all out by pulling release handle inside). We then took a torch to a very thin blade and "burned" a hole in the glue holding the glass in. Then fed the cable through the hole. (If you over heat the blade it'll crack the glass, just need it hot but not red hot). Or we used utility knife blades secured to a long thin metal (kinda like a wood stir stick but metal) and litterally cut the glue, over and over, from inside. Hard delicate time consuming work. That electric tool you have is a life saver
You finally re-appeared in my YT algorithm! I see you still puttin in dat work!! Removing glass and tint is a biyach!! Took me over an hour to remove old tint from the back glass of a Firebird I owned 20 years ago, I hated that job!! We appreciate cha bruh, you’re the GOAT!! I digz!💯✌🏿
@sprayway you need to take a break and do a Q&A with us! I need to know how you got into this type of work? Where did you learn all of this etc.?? You make me feel like I can get a car, paint it, dismantle it etc. Sir You Rock!!
That's a cool car 😎 Good to see it being preserved. I knock the corners off my blade when cleaning windows, stops the glass getting scratched, I like the steel wool trick to polish the glass tho 👌
Thanks for making this video! This is exactly what I needed to see because I just started working on my 79 Grand Prix and, I think I really need to do this so it can last for years to come.
This what seperates you from the rest sprayway u take pride in yo work and yo work speaks for it self most painters would've left all that under that glass.
I gotta give mad respect to you and sorry for mentioning another Chanel but gritt customs as well. You southern boys just know your way with these classics cars and put on for us to see. In California to flip a Malibu like you’re doing prices starting at 50k and up. I have no idea what you charge but it seems like you’re doing work for average folks who have dreams of building clean custom cars. Cali is real Hollywood with that bs and you really only get the plug if you’re a celebrity or influencer. Realtalk if I could just fly you out here which is very possible but the catch is you need to be at your shop were you have access to supplies and equipment to get the job done right in an easy manner step by step. Don’t forget about your boy when you get up to 1 million subs and you do that free paint job as long as the customer buys the paint. If I got picked I’d spend the thousands of dollars to ship my ride out. Keep up the great work because you know your boy 2Hard is gonna be watching!
Lotta extra work sprayway taking that tint off looked soul destroying dude lol but definitely worth the effort if your doing a job you gotta do it properly 👌 nice job cars gonna be extra special now even in the corners 👍
I have a question for you sprayway! I painted my truck and some panels dont match on color. I already cut it with 1000 grit and took the shine off. Can i spray over that? Or do i need to sand with something a little more rough?? Thanks
The window adhesive is old and hardened. You will need to remove the glass and scrap out the old adhesive then apply new adhesive or take it to a automotive glass shop so they can do it for you.

Question for you my friend... Where did you learn to do all this work? Did you work for a body shop or did your father do it? Or self taught?
Pretty much self taught but I did go to Trade School also
@@SprayWayCustoms You should be so proud of yourself man. You're teaching so many people and it's all self made. God Bless!
Bro need a paint scraper for that tint
Take that tint off fast and easy

Sprayway, my back window was loose like that, why is that?
The window adhesive is old and hardened. You will need to remove the glass and scrap out the old adhesive then apply new adhesive or take it to a automotive glass shop so they can do it for you.
@emjay69jj Thank you, brother. I thought I was tripping!
Is this why our boxes have water leaking in the inside our vehicles?
Thanks for the reply

A steam cleaner makes short work of removing tint, even old nasty tint. It softens the glue..
