It’s like the Saved by the Bell intro
Could have used a nomez on that fan falling down on Hole 14.
How does Corey not get a replay on 13?! That was incredible!
Hey jomez time to partner with udisc so when your card gets a star frame udisc plays the Jomez star frame music
I can't unsee Eagle on 17, straddling the guard rail and throwing a 400ft forehand uphill to the pin.
I thought the same thing!
Me too
Well from now on it'll be eagle lefty backhand....R.I.P that monster forehand
That’s where I sat for most of DGLO this year
I could watch Vinny throw low missiles all day. So sick.
Every time I’m step up to a tee with a low ceiling i think of Vinny.
Who’s Vinny?
@@yaboi5654 Calvin, calvinny, Vinny??
My favourite player
What a card going into R3!
Was just thinking the same thing. It'll be hard to not watch the live coverage.
What a final card coming up, sort of feels like anyone could heat up and run away with it. Thanks Jomez!!!
Chase card bringing some heat too, all only 4 back. Should be an interesting final round.
I'm seeing a 3rd or 4th card heater
you called it. was an awesome final day
I think the closing remarks 'segment' is a keeper! It would be awesome to hear those kind of thoughts after each round. :).
I just wanna say I am a casual watcher and the only disc golf I watch is the Jomez coverage. thank you for the content and I hope someone watching this realizes there are thousands like me and gives Jomez all the exclusive coverage/rights. you guys do it best by miles. genuinely thank you
I thought yall were about to form review the guy in orange who fell
Was praying to baby jesus that they were too... would have been epic.
"Who left the fishing string there?" 🤣😂 Sexton is the king of following a joke up later and it is always amazing.
The very 1st disc golf course I played was in Leadville Colorado while visiting brother. Leadville is high elevation/mountains. The elevation changes were pretty insane and I always remember how that affected run ups and footing on a difficulty level
I have cousins that live in Leadville. Beautiful area of Colorado!
Moved to the west slope of Colorado this spring after playing in Nebraska since I started playing. It's a very different experience to play with lots of elevation change. It completely affects your run up, so I find myself using standstills more often. Another thing about the mountains is the footing itself. The ground is mostly rock and gravel on the courses I play, so you really can't throw full speed sometimes, even on flat ground.
So nice to have the trio back commentating
Simon's c1 putting in r1 is the only reason he's not in the lead right now. I'm not counting him out for winning his 3rd elite series this year
Calvin is surging! Go Vinny!
Thank you Jomez crew!
Corey’s tee shot on 13 deserved a follow-flight.
Let's go Simon!!!!
Mcbeth might be GOAT player but this team is GOAT commentary. Such good chemistry today. Love it!!!!
Guys, your commentary today is on point! Multiple LOL moments...well done!
While big jerm was talking about disc golf, and they showed Ezra throw I feel like I need to work out
the runnway joke was sooo good :p
Excited to see Simon and McBeth play together!
corey's throw is so compact and powerful, it is great to watch.
Jerm, the runway comment is some of your best work to date, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise
I know people say greed is a real thing lately with this sport. But these folks need to make a living for being the best at the sport. And its always growing. I will never bitch about post production. I can look who won, I will not, just to watch and laugh. Who am I to complain? Thank you Jomez for going out there and giving us great disc golf content.
From Calgary with Love.
When you see the ad ticker counting down before Calvin is about to tee off......you know something amazing is coming on the other side of the advert.
23:46 "We had a... nine-player... birdies. I don't know what the words are there with the way I chose 'em... or, the second part of what I said." Love you Jerm! 😂
This commentary was hilarious big jerm is pure comedy
That was a great card, and looking forward to the coverage (both lead, and chase) tomorrow!
This final card is gonna be fire!
Incredible quality as usual. Keep up the great work Jomez team!
This is going to be a great final day. Paul definitely left 3 for sure maybe 4 putts out there on day 2 which would have given him a comfortable lead. He's going to have to dig deep today though because like Uli said, Corey looks hungry and so does Calvin... especially with that 4 down through the final 5 holes! That is something HARDLY ANYONE WILL GET!
Same with Simon in round 1. He would have been -17 without the missed circle puts
I can't believe I saw 5x throw a throller
He's finally becoming human
@@austinhamilton9444 yeah well Paul definitely blew it this weekend
@@thebeasters yeah and the wheels just came off yesterday
Watching this on my way to disc golf course!
Was able to finally watch disc golf live at DGLO and it didn’t disappoint. It was amazing
Early congratulations on 400k Jomez!
What a great card, very fun to watch 🤙
Never seen Ellis before, he is a beast!
I had to take a drink after uli description of 14. So salty 🧂 lol
The way Nate says "and this is boomed" at 15:29
Wow, that final lead card should provide some excitement!
Great stuff
Best disc golfing channel. Can't wait until we can get live cameras and disc golf becoming a full on sport
There is live coverage on Disc Golf Network
@@bernmusic7127 yea if you want to watch live coverage in 480p thats so blurry you can barely even see the disc half the time.
Oh and you gotta pay for it too
@@kyle-mb1ij the quality depends on how good the signal is on the course. DGLO right now is fine. I agree it can get pretty bad sometimes though… You have to pay for basically every other live sport in the world (tv plan, ppv, subscriptions etc.) so that’s fine
i prefer it this way. what element does "live" have that beats post-production? plus, it takes waaay more resources. so, be kind to the planet: watch jomez!
I did not want this to be a argument. I like this way. I also want to have some free live streaming too. It just sounds cool
So we're not going to talk about Calvin's clunker tree hit and roll back up on 12? Lol
No spoilers please, but I'd put my money on Corey. The way he said he was planning on winning in the intro section of the first day and then just proceeded to stay in the lead the entire time through 2 rounds was pretty impressive.
Really wish y'all could've covered the European open, but great coverage here as always!
Lead card gunna be 🔥
I feel like I often see Calvin having a comparatively slow start only to warm up during the later parts of the round. Anyone else noticed that? Is there a way to find out if that's true statistically?
Have to watch out for that fishing rope! Haha. Poor Kyle
what a dream lead card
lets freaking go Heimborg
23:46 "We had a nine player birdies..."
Yep, those sure are words, Jerm.
Dang Jerm extra witty today. “ Paul McCartney in 67” you kill me 🤡
2:25 Paul what the heck... how do you throw this zinger with an uphill half-crouched run-up
Love to see my name in the founders club and I love you guys!!!!
yes
Hard to believe anyone could possibly go 18 down on this course. Legit alien round.
It's a way harder course now. 3 new holes and a harder paar on several others. McBeth's -18 in 2018 would at best be around -15 in 2022.
@@BathTeth only -15, quick glance best round was -9, which is still 6 off. I get the course is slightly different, but you are talking completely mistake free with only a few pars. And even on the old course you are crushing almost every throw because of the course length, it was a completely unbelievable round. Iirc I thought he eagled one hole and par'd another.
Calvin’s putting style with his back foot toe taps makes me wonder if he is trying to get his balance just right on his plant foot? It’s like like tippy tappy tippy tappy
Uli: "very important to mention they backed hole 14 up from previous years.. one of the more important things I'll mention today."
Lmao I love his sense of humor
Cory's tee shot on 14 worked because it was low and flipped up lingering flat for so long before reverting back to a slow hyzer.
If Calvin could get his putting down he would be unstoppable
Great job as usual gentlemen!
Jerm- how did you talk right through Calvin’s drive on 12 and the roll back down the hill and not even mention it….???
I like Ellis & Klein but if you've ever seen Heimburg play live then you will want him to win almost all the time. Savage. McBeth is great, obviously, but I like the underdog week in and week out.
Mcbeast approach on #10! How?
Interesting Paul would bring up changes throughout a hole's history on 13... :D
Can you please scroll full leaderboard once every 9 holes or at least at the end of each round.
?
Hats aren't listed at website, yet..? Me wanty!
Nate Sexton loves to see McBeth struggle so much.
Hole 14 will always be the "distance with Dion" hole
15:45 lol the ad is blocking the form recire
You measure it with trophies!
@15:20 The skeeball hole?
CE step up pimp... You got this...
imho you guys need to designate the color commentator and the play by play
what kind of sunglasses does joey wear? i want a pair lmao
The saying goes jack of all trades master of none is still better than a master of one. (for the Paul Mcbeth talk on hole 11)
Blood in the water! come on paulie
Paul McBeth might not be the best at any one skill, but he’s the best at being CONSISTENT.
That final 9 was intense Calvin is so good
8:30 Uli “a skill hard to measure” no it’s measured in trophies lol
Money is on Calvin
What s round
RB 29
BigSexyBarri is where it's at
17:10 :D
Is Big Jerm saying foilage or foliage??? 😐
I'm going to be rooting for Ellis. Not shocked he is here as he played well here last year, but out of the four he has the least experience in these situations.
The runway comment wasn't lame Jerm, it was funny. It's to short and not flat enough to be a legit runway. But you had me. Just cause I was too gullible or dumb don't make it not funny. Keep being you homie.
I don't know if that was the lowest the camera angle goes, but the idio banner on the form review for Paul on hole 14 is blocking his feet. Personally his foot work is what I want to watch, where the weight is at on the feet. But also, it's an ad for a shoe company. Move the banner lol.
The rambling
I’m really loving Kyle’s maturity. He had a struggle round, yet looked like he remained relatively composed. That’s extremely impressive
13 was def a par 3 during Paul’s -18
That’s why he said it would have been a 19 under.
@@waynebryant1857 It was a par 3 then and it’s a par 3 now. He said it was a par 4 then
@@birdinflight3861 he said it was a par 4 a few years before and Paul would have had a -19. It’s not that hard to understand.
@@waynebryant1857 what a jabroni!!! Bahahahaha
@@birdinflight3861 try learning English
No comment on the nasty roll back on 12...
Yeah mcbeth wins alot but who beat him in canada that one time?
15:33 Looks like those dash cam insurance fraud videos
Did anyone else hear the hip hop version of the n word being used three times during the DGPT tour disc ad or is that just me?
It doesnt care what is the par measurement 3,4 or 5. It how many throws you have in the end not how many birdies. They could be all 3 and somebody throws 3 somebody 5. They are going for harder birdies and it is good thing. But there could be more harder par measurements or easier, but the harder they get i think better for public to watch. I like to watch harder holes than easier. I hate when they just do hyzers 18 and get -18. Some parks on U.S.A have those Hyzer and Forehand Hyzer parks.
Big Jerm: "I've never seen another group of people talk about their thing, the way disc golfers talk about our thing"
You've never met a skydiver before my boy. You could be at the grocery store grabbing some milk and they would say "I once had a milkshake before I jumped out of the plane"
I worked at a dropzone for 8 years and I never heard a conversation that wasn't directly skydiving related. Ever.
Poor Kyle
So glad we don't have to endure Animal Abuser Hammes.
Lots of Autumn Olive out there 😠
Why do they do all the form reviews on shots where people miss the fairway!?!? lol...it may not make a difference for the form reviews, but I think it's pretty funny.
