Just to clarify somethings in this video:
I am the second pitcher (right handed) and Trout got a single off me not a double*. That is 100% Mike Trout from the Millville Thunderbolts. My school (CH East) plays them every year at least once. We intentionally walked him with the bases loaded in SJ Playoffs Quarterfinals when we knocked out #1 Millville on the road. He was the greatest player around since his freshman year, and the greatest player I have ever seen.

I played little league ball when I was about 9. There was a wide range of ages in our league, so the older ones played infield and pitched. The coach's DAUGHTER pitched and played catcher. Overhand, hard ball. This girl struck out so many boys it wasn't even even notable... seriously unmatched. She had some heat. Remember when middle school girls were bigger and taller than most boys? Yeah, this girl was like our best player. Probably 13-ish, cute, wore a ponytail. I had fun playing right field, LOL, nothing to field with her pitching.

Like "I was playing 3B when the greatest player of this century was batting in High School" And everyone will always be amazed among hearing this as if they were talking to a professional athlete. Like "Wow, what a remarkable accomplishment Tyler" LMT'sAO

There was only a left field fence. But he hit it roughly 150-200 feet over the center fielders head.

I thought the distance had to be an easy 450’. I was astonished.

Good player no doubt, but his numbers seem to be slipping and he is not especially clutch. His long contract was way over priced. The team needs to rebuild, as it is miles behind a team like the Astros. Puhols is past his prime, a shade of his once self.

@The94GTC if you don't think athletes are way overpaid for six months of playing a game then I want what you are smoking. In the mid sixties superstar athletes made about ten times what a working person made. Now a working person would have to make three million per year to equal ten percent of trout's salary. That's why they were the good old days and now everybody lives paycheck to paycheck.

    • @crimdell

@@paulbaransky4086 Do you want the greedy owners to keep all the money? If you don't like it, STOP SUPPORTING MLB! Don't watch on TV, don't buy merchandise, and definitely don't go to games. The reason ALL OF US think you're high is your comments about Trout's performance. He leads his team in RBI, runs scored, OBP, homers, stolen bases. He has twice as many walks as anyone else on the team, so even a casual observer would recognize that the pitchers are pitching around him and he doesn't get good pitches to hit. That's why he is hitting ONLY .283. Take your anger out on yourself, and the fans that direct all that money into MLB. It is unfair that you direct your angst at the players. Again, would you rather the owners keep all that money and not pay the players their market worth?
