This is a different level to our way of cooking! Thanks for always being adventurous with ingredients Fafa....not just any food ooo....it is Ndudu by Fafa!!👌
Thanks for sharing. I use the leaves to make tea, and also add hibiscus flower. Good idea blending the leaves after boiling. It made a lot of difference!
I am sold Miss. About 2 years ago I stopped using these leaves because I did not know their origination, whether they were dyed or that's how they originally are. I consulted a journalist friend of mine from whose region the leaves are predominant, that was the end of my research. 🙏🏾 Thanks for your research and recommendation I now know what it is and its uses. I will spread the news cheers
Thanks so much for reminding us that we are blessed with a variety of God's wonderful creations. I never knew the leaves can be blended. When I was growing up at Adabraka, we use to go to the market and buy some and then add pear, mango, cocoa and bagaruwa leaves and boil all togather for medicinal purposes. We will always be grateful to you for spending time to do research and then providing us with yummy ...delicious meals. Nice weekend 😍😍❤❤
Boy are we in trouble ! Now this leaves are going to be the most expensive in England, Everytime we show the benefit of something it becomes the most expensive things in West but thank you for sharing
Back in the day, My aunty use these leaves in dying her hair with the Wine/Burgundy colour the leaves produces...it gave her hair a very beautiful and shiny wine colour. She said its good for the hair and aids in hair growth as well, but I never got to learn how she does it...
@@NdudubyFafa thank you ma'am. I make whole grain sorghum paste & other paste for sale with some infusion: dates, ginger root, etc. Its made into porridge or what we call here (Nigeria) Pap/Ogi/koko. I love to experiment when it comes to food. I created a Pap called Royalty Pap: yellow corn, soaked almond & tigernut, dates, ginger root and few clove. Wholesome and filling (rich in fibre). I like to experiment whole grain Pap , though it isn't something majority of the population is used to. The normal Pap that is majorly consumed goes through sieve and watered down final content.
What variety of Sorgum? You could grow these plants and sell the seeds perhaps Is there a recipe book compilation yet? One with a bit of history and health benefits of the ingredients Maybe one with both languages? Something that could help support fair trade maybe Anyway I just found out about a Small white seede variety called Texicoa for high yield but I am interested in African red varieties or the one you are using
This is such great information, thanks for sharing. I just want to know how you preserve the blended version and how long it lasts. Do you freeze that also?
