Another good video. I did RTTS (Ride to the Sun) back in June, where you ride from Carlisle overnight ride through the Scottish border, Moffat, Tweedmouth, Penicuik and up to Edinburgh then onto Cramond on the other side of Edinburgh in time for the sun coming up. Where you were standing at the Scottish Border near Gretna was part of the route. Oh by the way the coldest part of the day is around 4am to 6am this is because most of the heat has escaped from the earth and the sun hasn’t had the chance to start heating the ground.
If you get the fright of your life seeing those Highland cattle in that painting, imagine how Kyle must feel when you don't use your hair straighteners 🤭 Anyway, good to see him helping you top-up your carbs on and off the bike, by constantly serving you "air biscuits" from his derriere. Another fab trip, well done Shaggy and Scooby Pooh 👍
In a morning the air closest to the ground( about a foot or so) can be 10 degrees colder then the air above it, the sun light in a morning causes this cold air to 'move' around and rise causing the warmer air to cool, hence you feel colder.I hope this helps Amy, I've just ordered your book, safe cycling to you both.
Good day, Amy & Kyle! I really admired your strong will and determination guys! Visited England & Scotland way back year '97, as part of the security of our President. Safe ride/vlogging! GOD Bless!
The Scottish accent was hilarious. Don't ever change Amy! (and you don't need all that dam slap on your face either. You look perfectly lovley without it)
Hahaha you will be able to give Jodie Comer a run for her money with all these accents Amy 😂 But I must agree that when I watch cycling video of riders in foreign countries and they say hello to the cow's and sheep in English, I do think to my self, they can't understand you unless you speak to them in the language native to that country. 😄
What a class video! Would love to know where both of you get yr stamina, endurance an strength from . Both of you desto be knighted , sir Kyle , Dame Amy x
When you're "shacked up" in close confinement, post beans on toast + curry, need to get a catalytic converter fitted to Kyle's exhaust Amy ! ☀️ 🦅 🏴
Kyle sure can put a cupcake away in a jiffy 🤣 That aside you have really been very lucky with the weather on your trip because England and Wales has had absolute horrendous weather the last few days with yellow weather warnings for rain and wind, causing severe floodings and power cuts in many places, while you are enjoying an 'Indian summer' up there in Scotland 😊
15:50 There’s a great cycle path just to the west of you there. Shame you missed it, views to die for and properly surfaced too. Your hotels certainly better than Killin SYHA where we stayed in the 80s. Basic sums it up 😎
Well done you two. What you're achieving is incredible 😊. It's to do with Thermal Radiation why you feel cold when the sun rises. Basically the movement of heat from one surface to another. And can I point out Amy you really need to chew your food more that's probably why you felt unwell after your jacket potato 😂😂. Love watching your videos puts a big smile on my face. Thank you both.
I would ditch the early morning starts and make a compromise. Imo not getting enough sleep is actually quite unhealthy... I would start at 7 am and maybe book and plan another day in the schedule...
I'm with Kyle - hate mornings and it's rare you'll find me on a bike before 11AM unless it's for commuting purposes 😂 Probably why I'm no good at long distance cycling 😭
Be careful of baked beans. I ended up in A&E after not allowing time to digest them! I don't risk eating them at all now, which is a shame because they were one of my favourites.
Ok; the distances you are covering are impressive however how about a change of pace by doing some good old fashioned bike packing/touring as well. Selfishly I would love to see you both doing a few eurovelo rides in the UK and france etc. Their is something very pure in camping and travelling with your whole like in a few pannier bags. Now back to watching your latest exploit😊
There was a UK producer recently looking for subject matter for a touring series, if I find it I will PM it to you as its surprising how time can be found when there is a financial up side 🙂
@@amy.cycling.adventures Well yes, you really do need at least a few days just to get into it, then after that is where the 'I'm on my own' experience kicks in.
I know the roads around Killin well, even though I live almost 70 miles away😉Its such a beautiful area with spectacular Loch Tay and all the mountains👌You can cycle up Ben Lawers which is amazing, I did it back in May👍Awesome effort once again guys, you sure got lucky with the weather😉
"... you couldn't get married in England unless you were already married" is EXACTLY what I meant in your last video when I said "... please don't stop your 4 in the A M waffling" 🤣👏👍
When Kyle sees another cyclist up ahead, he's like a dog chasing a car (gotta get it gotta get it). And, that upset stomach? You're just _full of beans_ Amy! 🙃
He does have a heavy physical job too. Not sure, but I think he has a trainer of some kind advising him? So maybe he is onto it. I check resting pulse which I heard is a good sign if doing too much. Kyle could look terrible bc he is not a morning person 🤣
I wake up 3 am every morning to go to work! Got my first road bike a month ago and really love riding it between work and home. My dream is to cycle from the south of Sweden to the north. You, Amy and Kyle, are my inspiration! 😍
Poor Kyle The "Burger King"...Ex Duke of "Stella Artois" only he wants it's a good pint at his local pub and some fish&fries...someone get him out from there !!!
@ivorpeachey4366 - Is absolutely correct; during cloudless nights, the heat from the previous day is continuously dropping all night and is then at its coldest just before the sun comes up again.

These two at 4am 😂
What a couple 👍🏻💪🏻
Dragging Kyle out of bed again 😂😂
Last 2.5 minutes was hilarious 😂 !
Glad you enjoyed it 😂
those stats are so impressive! well done and can't wait to see your meeting with "The Kennys"
Thanks!! It was amazing 🤩

Great ride Amy & Kyle, it's impressive that you can cycle so far with only one hand while filming with the other. Chapeau 👍

Kyle and the cupcake- magnificent.
Oak and raisen cookie on the edge of a bonk. Half Man Half Biscuits's best song.
Great ride guy's,
Two great vids, I think it’s time to start carrying emergency coffee and sausage baps for Kyle in the early mornings!! 😂😂❤️😃
Glad you enjoyed them ☺️ haha yes good idea!
Wow, that is brave of you considering all the traffic. Stay safe guys
Another fantastic upload, congratulations 🎉 on the book 📚 ❤❤
Thank you so much!
Super, Super Randonneurs. Chapeau!
Thank you!
Should have gone to the Geraint Thomas Velodrome in Newport too! Maybe you can go on the way down! :)
Go on, lad! Well done Kyle!
The Scottish accent was hilarious. Don't ever change Amy! (and you don't need all that dam slap on your face either. You look perfectly lovley without it)
Well done both! Sleep well!
Pity you went up the main road to Killin rather than the Glen ogle bike path the views are stunning.

Nice one I live 10mins away from Tunnock's factory every time cycle past the smell is amazing, cracking video as always 👌 🏴

That tickled me 🤣 not sure amy knows what a catalytic converter is haha
Amy might jump on Google
Brace yourself Kyle ! 😁
Needed some hot ambrosia custard over the top of those cakes ! The bunk bed reminds me of the old Youth Hostel Weekends .
Love a youth hostel we stayed in a few and one that stood out was one on the nc500 and lejog and we stayed in bunk beds
i wish i knew you were up here, yous were near my house, would have invited you both around for dinner, great video as always

The feeling I get when cycle touring is unequalled, the world is mine and I don't need to know the time 🚲⛺🙂👍

Welcome to Scotland (where i live). It’s always cold 😂……
So cold 😂
Kyle , that a tour of football grounds. Derby , Man City And Celtic 😃
Derby i can do but being a man utd fan i decided to ignore that other stadium in manchester
The coldest time of the day is 1/2 hour before sunup.
Where do you find the energy to do this?! 😄
I like how you always seem to get blamed for the routing issues lol.
Good job to you both!
Poor Kyle. Not a morning person and starting off at 4 am. Would kill me!
He wasn’t too happy 😂
Im not a morning person 🤣 im much better solo in the early hours that way i can moan at anyone 🤣
Genuinely starting to worry for Kyle's welfare 😂 Amy is so alive is the mornings and Kyle is just dead 😂😂
Karma for dissing Man City ;)
